Villain: Manipulating the Heroines into hating the Protagonist

Chapter 77 Chitchat Between The Women

Kang Huian pondered over the situation, realizing that resisting Wang Jian’s authority would only lead to dire consequences. She concluded that it would be prudent to comply with his demands, as his malevolence knew no bounds.

As Kang Huian signed the contract, Wang Jian turned his head towards Elder Lianhua with an air of authority. π—―πžππ—»π¨π―πžπ₯.πœπ—Όπ¦

Elder Lianhua felt a sense of dread overcoming her as she looked towards Han Xifeng for guidance.

Han Xifeng’s lips twisted into a pained expression as she struggled with the decision, but ultimately nodded in agreement.

The weight of the decision was not lost on her, as it meant that Elder Lianhua would have to sign the contract or risk unleashing chaos upon their tribe.

The atmosphere in the room grew thick with tension, as Wang Jian’s piercing gaze bore down upon Elder Lianhua.

The elder hesitated for a moment, contemplating the potential consequences of her actions, before finally taking a deep breath and signing the contract.

With a triumphant smile, Wang Jian declared, “Excellent! Now we have an official alliance.”

Wang Jian returned to his throne and took his seat before speaking, “Do you have any suggestions? I naturally do not wish for your tribes to suffer. The stronger your tribes are, the more powerful this alliance will be.”

These words had a calming effect on everyone in the hall, causing them to unconsciously relax from their previously tense positions. It was evident to all that he was genuinely interested in hearing any concerns or grievances they might have.

During the meeting, Fen Shuying brought up the issues her clan was facing with the quantity and quality of weapons and equipment, prompting a nod from Wang Jian who diligently took note of these concerns in his diary.

The Miracle Angel Tribe was next to present their troubles, and they expressed a desire to acquire herb seeds and requested a special area to grow them. Additionally, they sought Wang Jian’s assistance in facilitating trade with business organizations or alchemy organizations.

After the two tribes had shared their concerns, Wang Jian’s gaze inevitably fell upon Kang Huian, who, in response to his inquisitive look, averted her eyes and remained silent, weighed down by her own thoughts.

Wang Jian spoke, “I will create a special arena for the Crimson Mammoth Tribe where you can conduct battles and even manage it. This will allow the warriors of your tribe to challenge other fighters in the Everlasting Mystic Empire. For the first two years, I will sponsor the rewards of in this arena.”

Overwhelmed with gratitude, Kang Huian couldn’t resist bowing deeply and expressing her heartfelt thanks, “Thank you, Your Highness, for your graciousness.”

After acknowledging Kang Huian’s gratitude, Wang Jian deftly steered the conversation towards other pressing matters that required his attention. The meeting continued for another hour before Wang Jian dismissed everyone except his wives and maids.

Presently, Wang Jian, Su Xian, Fen Shuying, Han Xifeng, and Kang Huian are gathered in the hall, exchanging curious and cautious glances with one another.

It marks the first time the four women have met together in a group, and the atmosphere is one of intrigue and anticipation.

Su Xian broke the silence with a playful remark, “It seems that destiny has brought us together, all belonging to one man. Although, I never thought that man would be Jian instead of Lin Feng.”

Fen Shuying chuckled at her words as she added, “It is true that fate has brought us together, but we must remember that we are all here by choice. We chose to be a part of Jian’s life, to support him and be with him.”

Su Xian nodded upon hearing those words, while Kang Huian and Han Xifeng just stared at the two with serious expressions. They were not in love with Wang Jian, and their situation was drastically different compared to Su Xian and Fen Shuying.

They remained stoic but couldn’t help noticing the curious looks Su Xian and Fen Shuying were giving them.

Their silent observations were interrupted when they noticed Wang Jian staring at them with a polite yet threatening smile.

Kang Huian said, “You are right. We have to support him as best as we can. I just think it would have been amazing if my father wasn’t so stubborn.”

Han Xifeng patted her comrade’s shoulder as she spoke, “Don’t worry. He will understand your decision one day.”

Wang Jian subtly nodded at the two. This was exactly the response he wanted from them.

Su Xian spoke, “Choosing Jian over Lin Feng was the best decision I ever made in my life. You can definitely trust him to help you prosper your tribes. Just don’t ever think of betraying him.”

Fen Shuying excitedly nodded, “Yep. Every day goes by so cheerfully that I always feel like it’s a dream. Ever since Lin Feng murdered my father, I thought that my tribe and I were done for. But Wang Jian supported us so kindly like a noble gentleman.”

Han Xifeng couldn’t help but roll her eyes in disdain as she thought, ‘What a foolish woman. You have no idea that this was the true perpetrator who killed your father and pushed your clan into that desperate situation. Your father’s soul must be cursing you for falling in love with the man who killed him!’

Naturally, Han Xifeng could never reveal this secret as she was the one who collaborated with him on this scheme.

However, Han Xifeng also had no idea that the reason for her hatred for the Night Dagger Clan and the Crimson Mammoth Tribe was also Wang Jian, as he was the one who instigated the Night Dagger Clan into betraying the Miracle Angel Tribe and slaughtering them.

Fen Shuying had no idea about such a grave secret and could never blurt it out to Han Xifeng so it was impossible for her to come across this information.

As for Kang Huian, she could never confess how Wang Jian had manipulated her body in a nasty manner while simultaneously using her tribe as leverage, forcing her to surrender to him entirely.

The only person in the hall who had a detailed understanding of the entire scenario was Wang Jian. However, he was completely relaxed as he understood their inner turmoil and thoughts clearly.
