Zhao Yao ignored Matcha’s call and pulled Rice Cake and Gaia happily to one side for a discussion.

Matcha looked glumly at the three of them discussing secretively and sighed, “Zhao Yao’s wrong. He shouldn’t just look at the levels. It doesn’t mean a high level player is powerful. Rice Cake and Gaia’s Closer pets might not be able to defeat my Vagabond.”

“Yes, indeed.” Lightning looked yearningly at Matcha’s Vagabond and said, “Matcha, may I borrow your Vagabond for two days?”

Matcha frowned and said, “Don’t you know that Closer pet’s are like canned food? Both are not to be lent? If you want one, catch it yourself.”

“The Vagabond is hard to capture. Don’t be petty. Let me play with it for two days.”

“Never.”

On the other side of the college, a suave and charismatic youth stood behind the wall and looked excitedly at a girl nearby.

The youth’s name was written on his head—Shadow Wings.

Shadow Wings sighed as he gazed at the lavishly dressed girl with golden wings. “Tender Sweetie looks attractive.” Seeing the girl chatting warmly with a few guys, he said enviously, “Sweetie’s very warm and concerned about her friends. She’s an angel.”

Shadow Wings recalled the first time he met her.

A chance meeting at a training, they chose the same pet and looked at each other smiling. The girl said, “I’ll let you have it.”

Shadow Wings drummed up his courage to add her as a friend. Every time he messaged her, he would get a reply and even receive her photos and videos.

She was a well-shaped beautiful girl, who kept many cats. She seemed to like small animals.

“I heard Sweetie’s surname was Zhao and I feel I understand her better.” He thought blissfully, “I wonder when I will be able to meet her in real life.”

The world abruptly shook in his eyes. Shadow Wings exited the game unhappily. He opened his eyes, looked at the middle-aged lady in front of the bed and said, “What’re you doing? Don’t you see that I’m busy?”

The lady looked at the chubby guy and said worriedly, “Ming Ming, don’t you have an interview tomorrow? It’s so late. Quit playing the game, okay?”

The chubby guy flew into a rage and shouted, “You are such a bore! Old lady! I’m doing important things in the Closers World! You don’t know anything!”

The lady said gently, “Don’t stay up late. Have an early bedtime. The interview tomorrow is important…”

“What do you know? The Closers World is able to replace my sleep and save much more time! I’m doing them a favor by going to that lousy job’s interview.” The chubby guy scoffed and picked up his computer game visor as he said, “Don’t bother me again.”

The lady looked at her son who had been unemployed for more than ten years and said, “Ming Ming, buck up for tomorrow’s interview and work hard for your job…”

“You’re irritating!” The chubby guy said angrily. “If you nag me again, I won’t go to the interview!” He put on his game visor and said, “When I’m using the game visor, don’t bother me!”

After entering the Closers World, Shadow Wings admired his youthful body and smiled blissfully as he walked over to Sweetie and greeted her. “Sweetie, why are you at Beginner’s College? Are you taking on a mission?”

Sweetie smiled at him and said, “No, I’m meeting my friends here.”

“Friends… are you doing missions with your friends? Can I join you?” Shadow Wings accompanied Sweetie happily to the college entrance and saw her smiling happily as she ran to a man with a perverted alias.

Shadow Wings almost lost control of himself when the man caressed Sweetie’ head.

“Why is that happening? Why is my angel Sweetie so intimate with a pervert…”

Zhao Yao looked at Shadow Wings, who was glaring at him and asked Elizabeth curiously, “Elizabeth, is that my cat? Who’s he?”

Tender Sweetie smiled as she fanned her wings and said, “A friend.”

Zhao Yao touched Elizabeth’s wings and said in amazement, “Elizabeth, your outfit looks lavish, what’s your level?”

“What? You mean this?” Elizabeth scratched her head and spat out her tongue. “It’s like a costume. I’m not too sure. Someone gave it to me. My Closer pet’s highest level is 15.”

Gaia and Rice Cake looked enviously at Elizabeth’s costume and muttered, “That’s a divine costume and is only available in the commerce store. It’s equipped with the highest attack bonus and is very, very expensive…”

Zhao Yao looked at Elizabeth suspiciously and said, “What have you done in the game…”

Elizabeth tilted her head and smiled. “Nothing much, I only made lots of friends.” She thought, “I also got Zhao Xue to earn some pocket money.”

She surveyed the down-and-out Matcha and gazed at the well equipped Rice Cake and Gaia who were envious of her. She laughed inside. “Even if Rice Cake and Gaia were to increase their levels, they would just be powerful fighters. They would still be no match against large numbers.”

Elizabeth scoffed at Matcha. “Matcha and Lightning are in a worse shape. Poorly equipped and with low levels, they aren’t even qualified to be fighters.”

“They don’t understand. Humans take over the world while cats only need to subdue humans.”

Zhao Yao saw that most cats had arrived, leaving only cats who had ventured too far and would not be coming back in time. He assigned tasks to the cats.

“Our target is to massacre everyone in Beginner’s Village!” Zhao Yao said, “Besides killing them, you have to let them know that it’s me who wanted them dead.”

“Kill all the beginners at the training shop outside the Beginner’s Village.”

“I want everyone in the wilderness outside the Beginner’s Village killed. Everyone in the college must know about my legendary existence!”

“Follow me!”

Zhao Yao led his cats to a massacre in the wilderness. He wanted all the players to remember him.

“Anger and Hatred! Give me the ingredients for my evolution!”
