Chapter 225: one-sided battle (b)
Elliot’s attack threw it to the ground. Its back just crashed on a mountain, partially flattening it in the process when Elliot’s jumped down on it and elbowed it on the guts like a wrestler.
Bomb!
As if it had gotten nuked, the entire mountain got flattened in the blink of an eye. Majestic waves of dust rose to the air as tens of thousands of pieces of rocks fell to the ground.
“I’ve never seen the serpentine devil in such a disadvantage position.”
“Each time it descended on a person, it had always caused us a lot of damages, making us suffer unimaginable losses. This time, it looks like it only appeared here to get humiliated by youngsters from our community.”
“Hahaha,” instructor Leonardo laughed. “Looked at how the times have changed. Even an old monster that had been terrorizing many races and forcefully occupying every planet that came into its sight is unable to resist the force of young man.”
“The serpent is forced into submission by Elliot!”
“What a great sight!”
By the time the dust cleared up, the onlookers only saw the celestial giant sitting down on the devilish titan, using its entire body as a lowly seat. Because Elliot had chained it up, surrounding its limbs and torso with thick, golden chains, the serpentine devil failed to put up any physical resistance.
As he was being extra cautious, he also pressed his knees on its arms so that it wouldn’t be able to resist even if it managed to free its upper limbs from the chains.
“How are you feeling? Does it feel good to be helpless? Does it feel great to be at the mercy of others? You, who have killed so many for no particular reasons and you who entice members of my race to serve you to death, tell me, had you ever thought that you will get immobilized by the member of the very race you treat lowly, almost as if they are a joke?”
The celestial giant stared down at the bastard that was the very cause of many problems, vivid disdain, and anger present in his eyes. He wanted to rip apart this avatar of the serpentine devil. However, he controlled himself. His main priority was to humiliate it as much as he could before dealing the final blow.
The serpentine devil trembled unconsciously. A sense of absurdity took hold of its crumbling mentality when it noticed that the gaze of the mortal in front of it had caused it to feel fear!
No, this can’t be!
It was the great serpentine devil!
It was ranked 72nd in the greatest army of the dark day’s galaxy!
It had led its army into war tens of thousands of times and never lost once!
It had massacred an uncountable number of beings and became known as the serpent of great destruction!
Furthermore, It ruled over several planets that beasts can inhabit and multiple solar systems!
So, how could it feel fear?!
Although it was just his avatar, it didn’t change that it represented a part of him!
The avatar feeling afraid meant that it was scared of Elliot!
Simply unthinkable!
It could’ve never thought that a day would come when it would be scared of a human being!
It also realized that Elliot had let it take the first move because he knew it wouldn’t be able to do anything when he starts attacking.
A mere human being gave it a handicap!
Simply unbelievable!
The entire demon race would laugh at it if they knew that!
Just the thoughts of it caused anger and madness to overwrite every other thought in its mind.
“Don’t be too complacent!” The serpentine devil spat out. “This is only a newborn avatar of myself, holding only a part of my power. Even if you kill it, nothing will change! And believe me, the day I get to your world is not too far! And that day, I will annihilate you with your race! You might win this battle, but there’s no doubt that you’ll lose the war.”
It started laughing.
Even a blind uncle could tell that it was laughing to hide his nervousness and fear!
Elliot also knew that it was putting up a false bravado!
How?!
Well, it’s because he knew that it had repeatedly burned its essence blood to kill him. The notifications issued by the artificial intelligence had told him so.
He didn’t know what its essence blood was, but he was sure that it was something incredibly precious and that it allowed the serpentine devil to unleash powerful moves such as curses and that he only had a limited quantity of it. Otherwise, it would have burned even more to launch attacks at him. It didn’t, meaning it didn’t have a lot of it.
“Are you done barking?!” Elliot said before raising his hand.
The onlookers could see that half of the face of the serpentine devil’s face was shadowed by his palm while the other hand glowed because of the golden brilliance emitting out of Elliot’s avatar.
“What are you going to do?!”
“What do you think?!”
An instant after saying those words, he started to slap it silly.
Pa! Pa! Pa!
With each slap, the serpentine devil face deformed further. Sounds of bones cracking kept on sounding out, eventually transforming into the bones-shattering noises. Elliot was merciless in his attack, and he kept on slapping.
“This is for the beings you have harmed!”
Pa!
“This is for invading my home!”
Pa!
“This is for the people you fool into serving you!”
Pa!
Honestly, Elliot believed that the serpentine devils were ignorant bastards that didn’t know any better. They were evil and deserved to die under his hands, but it doesn’t change the fact that they would’ve never gotten powerful enough to commit any crime if it weren’t for the serpentine devil knocking on their doors. If it weren’t for him, the worst terrorist organization on planet Xavier and planet Earth wouldn’t have existed in the very first place!
Everything terrible happened because of it.
So, Elliot was making it pay for it!
