Chapter 310: Unexpected Surprise!
Chapter 310: Unexpected Surprise!
‘It seems like my guess was right on the spot. There is a mechanism in this place that randomly teleports the wall to another area every six minutes. This place sure is nefarious. I expected nothing less from a necropolis created by evil and deranged beings. Great minds think alike. Maybe that is why I managed to realize what was going on. Whatever. Wasting time would get me nowhere and only make me miss this chance. I better hurry up.’
He hurriedly pulled out the chaos rings and put them in the wall.
The very next moment, a portal to area 10th opened up.
Fearing that the wall might teleport away and also take the portal along with it, Elliot didn’t waste even a single second before jumping into the black ass portal.
The moment he appeared in the next area, a flash of fiery light encompassed his entire field of sight. His whole body turned grey and more solid than any metal in existence–this was the effect of his A-ranked superpower that reinforced his defense as he was in immense danger.
KABOOM
A dark fireball the size of the boulder crashed on him and exploded into brilliant fireworks, flames surging outwards, turning everything into a fiery hell.
Within this hell was Elliot.
To the onlookers, it felt as if the flames had consumed Elliot and dragged him to the depths of hell.
“Well done, Freya, you got the intruder!” A burly demi-humans with horns protruding out of its heads and bat-like wings from its back and a red-colored skin said to the best standing five steps away from him.
Freya gave him a stern glare and said, “Be on your guard, Vlad.”
She was exceedingly beautiful. Even the most gorgeous of human beauties paled in comparison to her. It was because she was not only an elf but also an unholy one. She wore sexy armor that exposed most of her but kept the important parts hidden. Her skin represented the night, and her lips were the embodiment of the sin of lust. Her glittering silver eyes seemed to carry enticing torches in them. A single look at them would charm any man. But trying to touch her without losing a limb or two appeared next to impossible. She had six daggers strapped to her back.
Vlad rolled his eyes and said, “Freya, it’s not like you to fret over a mere intruder so much.”
“Had you not read the report? This intruder had annihilated all the monsters we were breeding in five different areas.” Freya retorted while looking at him in the eyes.
He felt guilty as he had not read the report and only came here to be with her.
Out of shame, he moved his eyes away and chucked, “And I am supposed to believe that?”
Vlad was unwilling to accept that he was wrong in front of the girl he liked.
He was expressing toxic masculinity at its finest.
“Do not lose your vigilance until we can confirm that the intruder had died,” Freya said to Vlad before she moved her gaze away from him and looked at the blazing area in front of her.
“Come on, let’s go back.” Vlad insisted.
According to him, the intruder was as good as dead.
Freya declined in a cold voice, “Not until I see the intruder’s burned corpse.”
“We just saw him getting swallowed by the flames of hell that can melt iron and turn mountains into dust. Do you seriously think he would survive that?” Vlad said, feeling annoyed that she was insisting on staying here.
“It won’t hurt us if we wait for the fire to die down and make sure that the intruder is dead,” Freya said.
Before Vlad could annoy her even more, a voice echoed throughout area 10th.
“You should heed her advice.”
Both of them were so shocked to hear this manly voice that their eyes subconsciously widened to the size of saucers.
“Who the fuck was it?”
Vlad had only said those words when the sound of heavy footsteps came out of the blazing area!
Their eyes turned towards the source of noise, and they a shadow of a man in the fire, and the man was calmly walking out of the fire. He walked gracefully and one step at a time, seemingly not worried that he was getting burned by flames. To the two onlookers, one too ugly and one too beautiful, it was as if the man was not walking in a fiery hell but taking a stroll in his garden!
They both felt the shock of their lives and felt as of the ground was slipping from their feet.
“Thanks for the warm welcome,”
Elliot said ever so gracefully after stepping out of the blazing hell.
The two human-like creatures in front of him were very good.
They welcomed him with a big blast so warm that he could feel it on him.
He was extremely thankful to them, and he wanted to repay them to the best of his abilities.
Freya and Vlad subconsciously stepped back.
Vlad was too shocked to see not even a single wound on Elliot’s gray body.
In contrast, Freya was terrified to see his big and meaty stick. She had never seen anything like that! It was just too big! That’s what she thought!
Yes, the dark fire hadn’t damaged Elliot at all, but it had burned off all of his clothes and revealed his greatest weapon to the world.
“What the hell are you?” Vlad asked loudly.
At the same time, Freya muttered, “Why are you D*** so large?! Are you even human?!”
As Vlad was being too loud, no one heard what she muttered out of shock.
Well, no one except for Elliot.
Elliot glanced at Vlad and said, “Please refer to me as your end.”
“You’ll be the one dying here!” Vlad exclaimed.
He believed that Elliot was immune to fire, which was the only reason he came out of Freya’s ultimate attack alive.
‘What a lucky bastard!’
While thinking that, he activated his innate racial trait.
Instantly, his entire body changed into a black mist that came rolling towards Elliot, and as it reached close to him, it split up into eight parts. Each took the shape of a bat’s face. All of them opened their mouth, revealing their sharp, dark dangs, and came lunging towards him.
