Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 2017

Chapter 2017 – Moving Mountains, Draining Seas

After transforming into a beast, the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb looked like a cosmic wildbeast. When it arrived at the Sky Palace, many were shocked. As the nine-colored, nine-headed dragon descended, the earth and mountains shook. With the nine dragon heads of different characteristics, the tomb seemed to have transformed into a majestic city.

“Let’s try integrating the core.” In the Silverdragon Palace, countless celestial patterns turned into silver dragons that floated in front of Tianming. Raising his black arm, he tore a hole in the formation core with his fingers and was instantly swallowed up. For a moment, he seemed to have come to another world. There were silver celestial patterns as far as his eye could see. They formed countless symbols that seemed to be the lifeblood of the Flameyellow Fusion Formation. Bright silver light raced toward him, gathering and merging into his body.

“What? It’s actually merging with the previous solar core?” Although the heliacal-class fusion formation left by the sky plunderers had been broken, fragments of the solar core still remained in Tianming’s body. With the fragments as the foundation, the Flameyellow Core actively entered his body and merged with his albi.

“There’s no doubt that it’ll be faster this way.” It was a surprise for Tianming. “This shows that the fusion formation created by the sky plunderers is based on the Flameyellow Fusion Formation. I wonder if the other eight cores will merge as quickly?”

The Silverdragon Palace’s Flameyellow Core was enormous. Even with the fragments of the solar core, the process wouldn’t be instant. All he could do was wait to verify his speculations. The silver light before his eyes was boundless. The celestial patterns built a new core in his body through whatever remained of the solar core.

“Just the formation core is enormous. What kind of marvel would the complete Flameyellow Fusion Formation be?” Tianming couldn’t imagine it. He thought that the Imperialdragon Palace’s super-large core was probably more complex than ordinary fusion formations.

It can be hard to make great work when its stolen from .com.

“Who could create such a formation?” The question was thought-provoking. “It’s said that each fusion formation is essentially built by countless generations over tens of thousands of years, little by little, combining the wisdom of the ancestors as well as their hope for the prosperity of future generations. I can’t help but admire that.” For Tianming, the Flameyellow Fusion Formation was simply a miracle.

Even with the solar core as the foundation, it took nearly a month for him to fully merge the formation core into his body. “I’ve done it!” The success meant that Tianming was truly in control of this star. Compared to the sun emperor, he was a real ruler of the sun. What a grand feeling it was.

When he left the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb and stood on the newly expanded sun, not only did Tianming feel that the impetus and luck of the sun was concentrated on him, he could also sense that its life was intertwined with his. Tianming raised his palm. In his albi, the number of silver celestial patterns had exceeded the prime wonder celestial patterns. When he pushed his palm forward, the mountains in front of him shook and were flattened to the ground. White and gold nova source erupted.

“That’s amazing.” He had only used a little of the formation core’s power. That meant that he could change the terrain of the entire sun by just thinking. By changing the fusion formation, he could turn mountains into plains and plains into seas!

Because the sun had expanded fivefold, rocks and soil were very scarce and the ground had become very thin, leaving the Flameyellow Fusion Formation exposed in many areas. Although the sun was rich with nova source, the temperature made it only barely inhabitable. If he could move mountains and drain seas, Tianming could create more flat ground to create a more suitable environment for living. He could also alter the flow of the sun’s nova source with just a thought, making him more powerful than the previous sun emperor or the Sky Palace. Only with that kind of power could one be considered the master of a nova source. Although the Flameyellow Core couldn’t be used to control the Flameyellow Guard Formation, it was enough for Tianming.

“The Flameyellow Core in the Silverdragon Palace allows me to move mountains and drain seas, alter the flow of nova source, and fine-tune the star. Of course, there’s one more important ability—nova source migration!” He could move the sun, leaving its current position to head to other places in the cosmos, like the Skywolf Stars that had come to hunt, but it would consume a lot of nova source. The sun emperor had stricken the two Skywolf Stars with the help of the Flameyellow Coffin, which controlled the Flameyellow Guard Formation. He was able to force the sun to move, but could only do it a few times. The Flameyellow Formation Cores and fusion formation were required to achieve true migration.

“It’s pretty good to be able to control and move the sun. What abilities do the remaining Flameyellow Cores have?” Of course Tianming looked forward to it. The scope of his control was roughly equivalent to a heliacal-class world. To truly control an imperial-class world, he would have to merge all the Flameyellow Cores. At that time, he would no longer be a ruler at the level of a heliacal-class world, but an imperial-class one.

However, he had visited the Blooddragon Palace to test it out. The Flameyellow Core there was completely different. Cruel and ferocious in nature, it was one and half times the size of the one in the Silverdragon Palace. It didn’t use the solar core as its foundation, but a different structure. Still, it was the second smallest Flameyellow Core. Due to the solar core, Tianming had spent less than a month in the Silverdragon Palace, but based on a conservative estimate, Tiamming would most likely spend more than a year, or even four to five years, in the Blooddragon Palace.

“I’ll take it slowly, since it doesn’t look like there’s much hope of integrating this core in any short length of time. Given the sun’s current size, maybe it doesn’t require such a complex Flameyellow Core.” Judging by the cores in the nine palaces, Tianming could actually imagine how brilliant the Flameyellow Imperial Star once was.

He flew the tomb across the new sun, testing and controlling every function of the formation core until he was fully proficient. “Now that the war is over, I have time to cultivate. In fact, I’ve directly broken through two levels due to the growth of my Imperial Will.” Over the past month, he and his five lifebound beasts had successfully advanced to sixth-level solarians after Ying Huo and the others had recovered from their injuries. “The nova source war has greatly promoted the growth of my Imperial Will!”

After one month, the celestial orderians had come to accept the fact that the sun emperor had been defeated and the number of Tianming’s believers had reached four hundred billion. In other words, half of the sun’s population were his believers.
