Chapter 2093 - The Progress Madman and Mobile Formation
Chapter 2093 – The Progress Madman and Mobile Formation
In the South Pole on the sun, a booming Tianmingpolis had risen. After talking to his parents, Tianming took an hour to compose himself. Then he activated the sun, geared up to maximum speed, and headed toward the Infinitum Bodhimanda. In a majestic palace, the First Aeonic Ancestral Star had turned into a glowing pink star map that showed him the way to his destination. It was a vast area that was the focus of the star map and there were countless stars in it. Compared to that region, the place where the sun was located, as well as the Mysterium Cluster, looked dark and gloomy.
“How dare the mysterians claim to be the center of the universe?” Thinking of the young mysterians’ proud faces, Tianming felt they were ridiculous. Surely the top mysterians were clear about the vastness of the astralscape of order. However, each cluster was usually far from their neighbors so they chose not to reveal the truth, at least not to the public. Only in that way could they consolidate the mysterians’ supremacy.
Tianming looked at the dense region of stars. At the center was an extremely dazzling star. Tianming determined that it wasn’t an unowned nova source because of all the stars in the region; there was no way it was unowned.
“This should be the star where the Infinitum Bodhimanda is, a sixth-level infinitum class nova source world, the main star of the Infinitum Mundus!” On the other hand, the main star of a cluster was merely a third-level deific-class world. Aside from the main star, Tianming also discovered more than a dozen large nova sources that were second only to the main star. They were most likely fifth-level nova sources and there were about a hundred of them. Fourth-level nova sources were rather scattered among the thousand clusters within the mundus. There were exactly a thousand deific-class nova sources there. Among them, the smaller ones were a hundred times the standard heliacal-class world, similar in size to Skyways Bistar and Tristar, while the larger ones reached a volume of seven or eight hundred times that of Violetglory Star. At the moment, the sun was only eleven times the size of Violetglory. On the star map, the glow of the nova source where the Infinitum Bodhimanda was located was ten thousand times that of the sun.
“In a world like that, one would have to take an astralship from the South Pole to the North Pole and the trip would still take a few months, wouldn’t it?” Tianming could only sigh in amazement. “If nova sources were a bowl of rice given to mortals by the heavens, Violetglory would be a grain of rice and the Infinitum Bodhimanda and the stars close to it would be a rice ball.” Looking at it that way made him a little more comfortable, because it would make the truth more reasonable.
“Fortunately, the Infinitum Bodhimanda is located in the western part of the entire Infinitum Mundus. Had it been in the east, it might’ve taken hundreds of years for the sun to reach our destination!” Tianming was indeed lucky. Even so, based on the distance between them and the Infinitum Bodhimanda, the sun would have to move across three clusters, which would take at least five years. “And I said that I could become the rex mundi in three years! Dammit, three years isn’t even enough time for me to reach the battlefield!”
In fact, given the sun’s previous speed in the Mysterium Cluster, twenty years wouldn’t be enough if it hadn’t been upgraded to skypiercer class. After fusing the second Flameyellow Core, its speed had increased several times, but even that would take them more than five years according to the star map. It was only to be expected; after all, only the vast and boundless cosmos could accommodate so many bright stars.
“There should be more unowned nova sources along the way. If we can absorb them, we’ll move faster. Besides, I don’t have to move the sun so close to the Infinitum Bodhimanda. It wouldn’t work. The more lively a place is, the more dangerous it is. I just need to move the sun a little further away from the Mysterium Cluster, then I’ll use the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb for the second half of the journey and hide the sun.” Taking those two factors into consideration, the journey would still take at least three years. Tianming calculated that according to the speed of the sun and the new tomb. It would have taken him decades before.
He had to move the sun as close as possible to the Infinitum Bodhimanda so that he could return in the event of an emergency. “Once I become rex mundi, all unowned nova sources in the Infinitum Mundus will be mine. I’ll fill up the sun with nova source until its previous glory is restored! After all, it was once an imperial-class star that was bigger than the Infinitum Bodhimanda! His goals, as well as the task entrusted to him by Li Muyang, were congruous. There was no rush for the sun to grow. At the moment, there were only two trillion people. Even if the sun reached imperial class, there would be no one to live on it.
“Three years, that’s a long time,” Feiling said.
“That’s because you’re still young. For old men like us, three years is just a blink of an eye.” Wudi said.
“Godfather, aren’t you still fifty years young?” Tianming glared at him.
“That’s right! Turns out I’m still so young!” Wudi laughed. But he was right. On the road of cultivation, the further they went, the more Tianming felt that three years was but a snap of the fingers.
The sun was enormous, so it made no difference to ordinary people whether or not it was moving. Thus, they wouldn’t feel as if they were in a hurry. Tianming was the only one that was really anxious to race ahead. “It’s okay. Just think of it as time to calm down and cultivate.” He was rather open-minded about the situation. The problem was a lack of suitable opponents on the sun. It would be difficult to make progress without an opponent and his cultivation might become stagnant. However, there was always a way out. Tianming discovered that even in the Infinitum Mundus, and likely the entire Boundless Realm, the heavenly locus formation could still be used.
“The divine wonderians are amazing! I wonder what their true level is. Anyway, I might as well head to the Astraldome and find the mysterious person that gave me the spirit core.”
……
In Soulburn Hall, Tianming and Xiaoxiao looked at each other amid the snow.
“What are you doing?” Tianming’s gaze gave Xiaoxiao goosebumps.
“You seem prettier and prettier each time I see you. You were just a little chick in Ignispolis.” Tianming seemed puzzled.
“Don’t you know that girls blossom into womanhood?” Xiaoxiao said through gritted teeth.
“Bullshit. No village girl could turn into a vixen. It must have something to do with the Archaionfiend, or perhaps the caeli you swallowed,” Tianming speculated.
“You call me a vixen.…” Xiaoxiao froze for a moment, face flushed and heart pounding.
“What’s wrong? Are you shy?” Tianming laughed.
“Scram!”
“Oh, you dare throw a tantrum with me? Don’t forget, I gave you a third of the caeli I got from the Blood Abyss Wargod! Don’t be lazy and do your job. After all, I pay you so well,” Tianming teased.
Xiaoxiao’s cultivation was extremely simple—all she had to do was eat. The location didn’t matter and she was actually very relaxed most of the time. Therefore, Tianming had given her a task, which was to visit Soulburn Hall and wait for Qingyu.
“Got it. I’ll wait here everyday, okay?” Xiaoxiao pouted.
“That’ll work,” Tianming said, pleased.
“Go away. You’re disturbing me,” Xiaoxiao angrily said.
“How dare you chase me away? You’re just a maid. Aren’t you going to kneel?”
“Kneel? Dream on!”
After teasing her for a while, Tianming left. “Cultivate well over the next three years and I’ll take you with me when I visit the Infinitum Bodhimanda,” he said as he turned to leave.
Xiaoxiao’s dispirited expression faded at once. Suppressing the joy she felt inside, she said, “Why take me? I can’t do much except eat. Ling’er and Little Fish can help you more.”
“It’s fine. You’re rough, easy to look after!” With that, Tianming entered the passage to the Astraldome.
Rough? Easy to look after? Was that an advantage? In fact, Tianming knew that Xiaoxiao had unlimited potential. He was left with just the three of them, so of course he would cultivate them and take them with him. Lingfeng, Qingyu, and Sixth were Tianming’s main source of worry. He also needed someone by his side who could watch over Soulburn Hall at any given time.
Tianming would also take Weisheng Moran with him. She now had divine wonders that transcended her level, which could save them at critical moments. However, she also had her weaknesses. Her progress in terms of cultivation level was extremely slow. She was far from reaching the Solar stage, and the resources that Tianming gave her didn’t work. That was her limitation—Weisheng Moran wasn’t very talented. She was fine in the Myriad Solar Sects, but in the vast cosmos, she was at the bottom. Tianming knew there was no forcing her progress so he let her take her time.
“It would be great if you could inherit Xiaoxiao’s ability to advance like a madman,” Tianming thoughtfully said.
“It’s fine, just treat me like a mobile formation. Don’t rely on me for anything else…” Weisheng Moran dejectedly said.
One was a madman in terms of advancing, yet unable to fight, while the other was a mobile formation that couldn’t advance. Tianming didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. “Fuck that! Some day, I’ll make you ruler of the divine wonderians!” he arrogantly said.
“Make me?” Weisheng Moran was startled.
“Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t mean that,” Tianming hastily replied.
“My sisters have already misunderstood….” She bowed her head.
It was stifling to have too many people around.
……
Tianming entered the sixth level of the Tranquil Battlefield once more. “It’s funny that I’m here when the mysterians and divine wonderians are after me,” Tianming chuckled. Not only was he unafraid to show up, he actually had a bigger goal, that is, to pass the ninth level! Although it had been a long time since he’d shown up, the mysterian geniuses immediately recognized him.
