Chapter 2234 - You Lost, Shut Up
Chapter 2234 – You Lost, Shut Up
“Lan Huang!” Tianming yelled. His trusty beast immediately responded and used its primordial order. Despite howling in pain, Lan Huang mustered all the strands of order it could and forced them down on the albi of the worldring skysnake, enhanced with Ji Ji’s nova source. Almost immediately, the pressure it felt loosened, giving it the chance to use Primordial Wheel! The grand mountains on its body ground away at the giant snake, pulverizing its flesh and driving it even wilder.
At that moment, Soulscatter Dragonwaste came whipping out of the snake’s mouth toward Lan Huang. “Your lifebound beast seems pretty hardy. I’ll help send it to the afterlife!” Qi Hongzhen wore a snakelike smirk on his face, as if he had fused with his beast. His weapon had ten different grade-nine divine hazards, making its attacks pretty destructive. When it struck the mountains on Lan Huang’s back, it sent the dragon slamming back into the ground, shaking the whole area! The pain coming from its soul caused it to howl once more.
“You’re the one cowering inside your beast and hiding. Aren’t you ashamed to say that?” Tianming couldn’t take it any longer. He appeared right in front of the flaming snake head of the worldring skysnake and met the gaze of Qi Hongzhen, who stood on the tongue. Qi Hongzhen beheld Tianming in his full glory, wielding his dual blades. Then the prime wonder suddenly descended, crashing into the snake’s head and flattening it against the muddy ground before it could unleash a rampage on Lan Huang.
“A divine wonder?!” Qi Hongzhen hadn’t expected a disciple of the Swordgod Lin Clan would use something like that, and it wasn’t a weak one either! Tianming’s divine wonder was even more powerful than Moran’s during the council succession override half a year ago.
The worldring skysnake furiously howled as it rose up again. Qi Hongzhen furrowed his brows as he launched his whip toward Tianming once more.
“Hehe!” Tianming willed the gigantic tower to split into nine parts. Each of them rapidly spun in the air, turning into Prime Cosmic Rings.
“What?!” Qi Hongzhen was utterly floored. One of the rings went flying out and fell like a meteor onto the head of the snake at high velocity, drawing a lot of blood while the other eight rings rapidly descended and wrapped around its body, including its other head.
“Constrict!” The Prime Cosmic Rings tightened with horrifying force, causing the snake to suffer even more. The final ring wrapped itself around the flaming head and tightened as well. The sound of bones snapping cracked and popped as blood poured out of the wounds. The snake was like a wet cloth being wrung dry!
Qi Hongzhen had never imagined that divine wonders could be that powerful. The snake howled in agony and its mouth was squeezed open, completely revealing Qi Hongzhen. Violet light flashed near his hands and seeped into the ebon mark on the snake as he communicated with it. “Use your power to crush the divine wonder! His energy is definitely far from enough to sustain it!”
“Oh no, someone’s getting desperate,” Tianming laughed. Lan Huang got back to its feet after being whipped, completely enraged. Its eyes were completely bloodshot as it came charging toward the snake once more! Though the snake wanted to break free from the Prime Cosmic Rings, it was being fatally threatened by Lan Huang’s charge. Its body was being constricted while Lan Huang tore away at its flesh, one bite, slash, and scratch at a time.
“Fuck off!” Qi Hongzhen had no choice but to come out of hiding to lash Lan Huang with his whip.
“Trying to beat up my comrade? Do you think I’m slacking off?” That was the chance Tianming had been waiting for. His Fiendsky Arm was in peak form and he wielded the twin Grand-Orient Swords as he charged toward Qi Hongzhen. The power of Flint Infernal Impulse flooded into his gold sword, wrapping it in crimson flames. Vapor Lightning Impulse flowed toward his black sword, turning it purple with crackling lightning along the blade. Then, the twin-element-infused Imperealm Sword Formation activated, sending countless strands of sword ki to attack the enemies in its range.
“Do you think I’m weak? I knew you were targeting me. Do you think you can handle the ultimate soul attack of the ebons that allows us to dominate the entire star?” Qi Hongzhen’s body was glowing violet and it spread to cover the Soulscatter Dragonwaste. Then he used a fullstella battle art, Soulsong of Deceit! His whip began undulating at a fixed rhythm, like he was a conductor and the whip was an orchestra, sending an interesting tune that created waves that shot toward Tianming. The Soulscatter Dragonwaste then split up into a hundred thousand afterimages, filling Tianming’s vision with violet whips.
“Impressive! Too bad for you, I have the Soul Tower.” That was a key part of Tianming’s arsenal. Without it, his relatively weak soul wouldn’t be able to hold up against Qi Hongzhen’s soul attack. The chaotic soundwaves that washed over Tianming’s soul had been completely blocked, causing him only minor pain at best that he could easily endure.
“Since you so clearly exposed yourself to me, you’re done for!” Tianming’s swords glowed with flame and lightning. With two cosmic impulses, he didn’t even need to use the Grandvoid Compendium or Xiaozhi Sword Art against the ebon. The gold sword created an illusory fiery scape as it launched sword strikes into the song.
The divine wonderians who were adept at souls weren’t that much worse than the ebons in their mastery. The Mirage Sword Art, a fullstella battle art, was easily able to crush the Soulsong of Deceit thanks to the Flint Infernal Impulse. The most fatal strike, Starslaughter, was unleashed with the vapor-lightning-sword-ki-infused black sword! Swung by the Fiendsky Arm, it came down right after Mirage with devastating force.
The two cosmic impulse sword ki strands created a storm, completely pushing back the Soulsong of Deceit. Then an overwhelming force completely engulfed Qi Hongzhen. No matter how he tried to block, it was futile; Tianming’s two strikes were simply too sturdy! The swords landed on his clavicle, sending him flying off into a boulder far away from his giant snake. The two Grand-Orient Swords pinned Qi Hongzhen to the boulder and stopped him from slipping to the ground.
“I—!” he roared, black eyes filled with anger.
Tianming drew the black sword out and put it against his tongue. Smiling, he said, “You lost, so shut up.”
