Chapter 2332: Third Astral Phase, Soul Head Permeation
Chapter 2332 – Third Astral Phase, Soul Head Permeation
“Isn’t Lin Feng too unlucky? He got trapped by Guchi Xiaoyin before he even left.”
“Yeah! The others already started walking along the walkway!”
“Is Guchi Xiaoyin really that laid back? Isn’t he wasting time?”
“Why’d he ask Tianming to remove the Oldgod Ring?”
“Lin Feng found himself in the limelight again. Do you think he’s lucky or unlucky in this case?”
Nervous talk began spreading. Even after the broadcast showed nothing but darkness, everyone still closely watched their screens.
……
After Tianming put away his ring, the one-meter-tall child circled him a few more times. Then he finally stopped and praised, “Honestly, I didn’t think you’re any bit better than Lin Hongchen at first glance. But for some reason, you seem more impressive the more I look. Your eyes, arm, and snow-white hair are all unique. You seem more charming than Lin Hongchen, at any rate.”
“What’re you talking about?” Tianming awkwardly asked. It always felt weird being praised for his appearance by another man. Ying Huo and the rest had a riot at hearing that inside the lifebound space, laughing nonstop.
“Little Li, your time has come! This young man here is your destiny. Cherish this rare moment. You have my blessing.” Xian Xian, for once, didn’t carve the scene into its branches.
Ying Huo laughed so hard it spat fire, much to Tianming’s dismay.
Guchi Xiaoyin got even closer to Tianming. “Since you profess to be loyal to the ebons, you’ll come with me. There’s no need for you to return to the Swordgod Lin Clan any longer. Leave your old, decrepit place and come with me to enjoy endless riches and luxury. I won’t mistreat you.”
Tianming was utterly speechless at being propositioned for the first time in his life. He panicked and couldn’t help pointing at himself, asking, “Friend, are you sure you got my gender right? Not to mention, my thing’s thicker than your arm.”
“Of course.” Guchi Xiaoyin chuckled, his eyes seeming more excited than before. “Thicker than my arm, you say?” He seemed eagerly up for the challenge.
Tianming felt like he had swallowed an entire mouthful of flies. The six in his lifebound space were laughing even harder.
“Well, your Oldgod Ring is already off, so there’s no need for any pretense or shyness. You know what I’m talking about,” Guchi Xiaoyin said as he approached Tianming. It really looked like he was about to make his move.
“Hey, wait, are you sick in the head?!” Tianming took a few steps back, eyes widened.
Guchi Xiaoyin seemed a little stunned. With a colder voice, he said, “My dad said I should follow my heart no matter what it is. My cultivation will know no bounds once every whim of mine is sated. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with me.”
“It’s fine if you want to do what you want, but don’t involve me in it!”
“Don’t worry. You might not be sated now, but you soon will be. I’m really gentle.”
“Damn it!”
“Lin Feng, do you think I’m joking around?!” Guchi Xiaoyin flared with rage, seeing how frustrated Tianming looked. He was sensitive enough to know that Tianming was giving him a disdainful look, which only made him even more restless. “I have gotten everything I wanted growing up, no exceptions. I’ve been really polite with you. There’s nobody around us here, so don’t make me get rough.”
Tianming would never have imagined that someone would say that to him.
“Stand there and don’t move!” Guchi Xiaoyin’s patience was running out. He charged over, unwilling to let the insult go unchallenged!
Tianming had wanted to feign obedience to buy some time and improve some more, but it didn’t seem Guchi Xiaoyin was the patient type. He felt angry at being seen as a pushover by the ebon.
“Go!” Meow Meow had readied itself inside the lifebound space and burst out the moment Guchi Xiaoyin charged toward them. The Chaos Fiendbolts and Genesis Bolts around its body sparked, charging up into a Yinyang Boltwheel that was launched toward Guchi Xiaoyin! An electrifying explosion ensued. The rapid burst of power of the lightning was quite shocking to see. Guchi Xiaoyin was sent flying off, then Tianming and Meow Meow charged toward the entrance.
“Lin Feng! I wanted to treat you gently, but you forced my hand! Since you attacked first, don’t blame me for getting violent!” As he roared, the silverthread separated from his head and burst out, covering the entire ground with countless strands of hair that shot toward Tianming and Meow Meow.
Tianming had wanted to escape by relying on Meow Meow’s speed, but the entrance was sealed shut! The tens of millions of hairs were sharp like needles, and they all shot toward Meow Meow. While they were tiny, there was little doubt that they would definitely pierce through most things.
“Do you think a stellaminor like you can escape the palm of my hand? I’m in the third astral phase of soul head permeation!” Guchi Xiaoyin’s fiendish shriek rang in Tianming’s ear; it sounded like countless ants crawling into his ear canals, carrying the power of the soul.
The Soul Tower shuddered wildly. Tianming looked back and saw Guchi Xiaoyin in the air with his arms spread wide. His divine soul eyes glowed bright silver, casting a sea of light on Tianming and Meow Meow.
“Ugh!” He felt the undulations of his soul. Even with the Soul Tower, he still felt almost crippled. The midget was incredibly powerful in his own right, even without taking the silverthread into account. Given how much Tianming felt it, Meow Meow, with its weaker soul, groaned in pain. Its speed and lightning attacks were greatly affected. The worst kept coming as Guchi Xiaoyan spread his order field around the entire battlefield.
The silverthread also didn’t let up, piercing millions of sharp hairs into Meow Meow and drawing blood from the Regal Chaosfiend, binding it. The gap between their capabilities was far too wide.
“Meow Meow!” Tianming roared and charged toward the silverthread, only for Guchi Xiaoyan to appear before him, shining silver light at him.
“It’s best you play nice. Otherwise it’ll die a horrible death.”
Tianming stopped, turning to the bloody Meow Meow and the smirking Guchi Xiaoyin. Midget… I didn’t want to fight you and was willing to let you keep that ring for a while longer, but if you insist, so be it!
