Chapter 2483 - Lin Xiaodao's Secret

Chapter 2483 – Lin Xiaodao’s Secret

Still feeling a little strange, Tianming and the girls were brought into Skyhold Palace by Lin Xiaodao. After Lin Xiaodao, as master of the palace, had marked them, they could freely come and go. Of course, it was best not to leave.

As soon as they entered the palace, Tianming found that it was calm inside despite the violent nova source storm outside. It was very spacious and a formation had been created to ensure the structural integrity of the building. The design of the palace was simple, with white as the main color. However, the city was now dyed pink by light from the sky.

“I’ll be honest with you. I moved the ruins to the palace—they’re underground now. Opensky Hall, which leads down, is just up ahead,” said Lin Xiaodao.

“Opensky Hall? Got it.” Tianming nodded.

“I’ll take you to the ruins this time. Once you know your way there, you can go on your own. There’s no one else here so you can live wherever you want. If I’m coming back, I’ll let you know a few days in advance. Don’t worry, I won’t disturb your baby-making activities,” Lin Xiaodao said with a nasty smirk.

Tianming was speechless.

The resources required for cultivation were nova source, caeli, and sword arts. And there was the best nova source and foundation-level caeli in Skyhold Palace. Tianming also possessed the second part of the two reges mundi’s sword arts, though he had yet to make any progress. In other words, Skyhold Palace met their cultivation needs.

“Are you practicing the reges mundi’s space and time sword arts?” Lin Xiaodao asked.

“Yes!” Tianming nodded.

“I can’t help you with that, but based on what I know, the early parts of the sword arts are profound, but not quite deadly enough. Once you’ve mastered them, I’ll teach you a few moves that can be used to increase their lethality!” Lin Xiaodao said.

“Are you really going to teach me?” Tianming grinned.

“Of course! How could I neglect my own disciple?” Lin Xiaodao flicked his beard.

“I understand. You feel bad because my lifebound beasts have been so helpful. You’re too embarrassed, so you can only compensate me by teaching me your best sword techniques,” Tianming said.

“My best sword techniques? I didn’t say the best…” Lin Xiaodao glared at him.

“But I’ve helped you so much. How can you be so stingy? It’s just a few sword techniques,” Tianming mocked.

“Fine! My best sword techniques aren’t easy at all. Prepare to suffer!” Lin Xiaodao retorted.

“Tsk tsk, give it to me!”

“Later!”

Tianming moved the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb out of the Reaper and left it in an open space within the palace. His lifebound beasts couldn’t wait any longer and began playing as soon as they arrived at the new residence. Xian Xian rooted itself to the island, while the remainder of Ji Ji’s nova source hung in the sky like a pink sun. Soon, they arrived in front of Opensky Hall.

When they entered the hall, they were greeted by darkness. The place was sealed so well that it was pitch black. In the depths ahead was a passage that seemed to lead to an abyss. Tianming’s hairs stood on end. There was an old smell.

“Lin Feng!” Lin Xiaodao suddenly stopped in front of him, turning around and solemnly gazing at him.

“Master, please speak,” Tianming said.

“I have a secret that I’m going to share with you, but you must keep it to yourselves,” Lin Xiaodao said.

“Of course.” Tianming nodded, motioning for Lin Xiaodao to continue.

“When you lay eyes on the Gladean Ruins, you’ll see that it’s actually an ancient astralship,” Lin Xiaodao began.

“An astralship?” Tianming was stunned.

Ruins were generally the physical remains of a city, or an area that was once lived in by ancient clans and powerhouses. They were ancient constructs that were usually sealed with a formation. What Tianming possessed was a relic, which wasn’t exactly the same thing as a ruin. He had originally thought that the Gladean Ruins were a historical building or an ancient tomb, but to his surprise, it was an astralship.

“What class is it?” Tianming asked.

The Ninedragon Imperial Tomb could also be considered a relic of the flameyellow divinities, though it had deteriorated to a helical-class astralship.

“I’m not sure, maybe ether-class or even more powerful than that.” Staring at the abyss before him, Lin Xiaodao smiled.

“Can you control it?” Tianming asked. Lin Xiaodao knew secrets about Yin Chen and Ji Ji, so he wasn’t afraid to reveal more.

“Take a guess?” Lips rising in a meaningful smile, Lin Xiaodao walked forward.

Tianming understood.

“Looks like your place on the reges mundi ranking and that mysterious gourd aren’t the only things the ruins brought you, Master. You even have an infinitum-class astralship that might be useful.” In fact, Tianming was shaken. Astralships were mobile war machines.

The ebons had infinitum-class astralships, making them invincible, much like the sun emperor that had possessed the Divine Sun Palace. If Lin Xiaodao really could start up an infinitum-class astralship, he might really be a force to be reckoned with—one as intimidating as Yi Daiyan.

Grandpa and the elders are probably in the dark about this. Who would’ve thought that the etherean of Gladeus is the real boss?! Tianming had only one thing to say about it: awesome!

“I haven’t allowed anyone else to enter the Gladean Ruins, so the five of us are the only ones who know about it. It’s very important, so you must keep it a secret,” Lin Xiaodao urged.

“I know as well! Am I not a person?” Ying Huo popped out and angrily squawked.

“Aren’t you a chicken?” Lin Xiaodao asked.

“You’re right….” Ying Huo froze for a moment, crossed its eyes, and went back.

Before Lin Xiaodao could take a step forward, Ying Huo reappeared and said, “You’re wrong! There’s a total of fifty-four people here! You’ve forgotten the rest of my brother’s harem!”

“Scram!”

This time, it was Tianming who pushed its head away.

……

In front of them was the Gladean Ruins. Tianming jumped down into the passage after Lin Xiaodao. The passage that led to the depths of the mountains had been dug by Lin Xiaodao himself and was fortified by a formation. Strong winds washed over them. The girls’ skirts fluttered, but not enough to expose their bodies. They finally landed on solid ground.

“It’s just a little further.” With Lin Xiaodao leading the way, Tianming and the girls flew behind him. Tianming’s heart started racing.
