Chapter 2529 - Reges Mundi Pillar
Chapter 2529 – Reges Mundi Pillar
There was a divide in space and time. As a result, Tianming was protected against the wind and snow. With his swords in hand and totems beside him, he charged at the enemy without another word, using Grandvoid Compendium, Delayed Capture. The golden sword, armed with Vapor Lightning Impulse and infused with the power of his six streams of order, guided the totems to execute the same blindingly fast strike, tearing through countless realms of stormy snow to reach Fengqing Fuxue. Feiling had even created a path to accelerate him forward to an insane speed!
Fengqing Fuxue was completely flabbergasted. Fortunately, Fengqing Fuyue intercepted Tianming by causing the moon in the sky to fall. Even then, Tianming and his totems easily weaved through the submission reflectomoon wonder, unleashing so much sword ki around him that the divine wonderian couple ended up covered in cuts!
“He’s strong!” Their expressions changed immediately.
Tianming didn’t pause and jumped back into the fray. His ten totems split apart and then struck toward his target with Unistrike Singularity! Thanks to the spatial enhancement provided by Perpetia and his totems, Tianming’s destructive capabilities far exceeded what he had achieved before.
“Spatial power!” The two divine wonderians had no choice but to condense their divine wonders to shield them from Tianming. His totems kept the divine wonders occupied, causing quite the commotion on the Skyhold Bridge. Snow was all over the place, illuminated by the glowing moon.
By then, Feiling and Xiaoxiao had finished dealing with their foes. Tianming’s Prime Cosmic Rings had returned, while Feiling focused her attention on supporting him. Xiaoxiao didn’t stay put doing nothing either and kept firing using Skywreck Vortex. The divine wonderians had been losing, but they refused to admit it and held on. As such, they were forced to take Tianming’s third strike, Grandvoid Compendium, Flowerfall Flow! At the same time, his ten totems turned into a million providence swords, swirling around him like an ocean of tiny totems.
“Die!” The million swords turned into a powerful stream. With Feiling’s help, the stream of totem swords actually turned into a flow embodying the core principles of Flowerfall Flow!
Fengqing Fuxue and Fengqing Fuyue growled as they swung their own weapons to counter. Their coordination had been perfect to the point that it achieved the effect that Tianming had tried to mimic by using a sword art meant for divine wonderians. Their divine wonders also matched their motions with their own blades and swords, creating a snowy avalanche under the stark glow of the moon. Yet, Xiaoxiao’s Vortex Arrows tore an opening in their counterattack, allowing Tianming’s strike to pierce through their divine wonders. The intense sword intent vaporized the divine wonderians, scattering the snow and dimming the moon! The two of them couldn’t hold up against the power of the Grand-Orient Swords and the cosmic impulses at all.
The other team had lost completely, even when their abilities had been set back to when they were five centuries old, while Tianming’s group was far younger! Had they been reverted to the same age, Ying Huo alone could probably take all of them on. Despite the age disparity, Tianming still held a huge advantage. While it was clear that there were many more people more powerful than the losing team at that age in Skyhold Bridge, that didn’t detract from the fact that Tianming’s group had impressed the onlookers. One thing was for certain: they were definitely not over five hundred years old.
When the snow and dust settled, Tianming, Xiaoxiao, and Feiling were the only ones who remained on the piece of the bridge. The dreamlike sight was nowhere to be seen. It was as if nothing else had changed. Tianming demanifested his totems and divine wonder while his beasts returned to being tattoos on his body.
“Done deal. That wasn’t tough at all,” he said with a smile. The coordination between the three of them was even better than he had imagined, especially after training. Feiling and Xiaoxiao were by no means decorative afterthoughts in the group, holding much of their own weight. The group was far more powerful with them around, giving him quite an easy time.
“That means we’ve secured the right to cultivate using divine wonderian foundation caeli for ten years.” Tianming wouldn’t continue to fight today. He knew that his capabilities were still insufficient for him to achieve a winning streak of ten. No doubt, the subsequent enemies would be much stronger. If he lost there, he would be banned from entering Skyhold Bridge for a whole year. “Let’s see what the foundation caeli of divine wonderians are really like.”
The three of them left Skyhold Bridge and returned to Starting City.
……
“Truly amazing. Their methods are so varied.”
“These three are quite elusive and secretive. I wonder where they are in the real world? Why would they be so daring?”
“They have probably been taken in by the divine wonderians to be nurtured.”
“I wonder what their true ages are though. That’s not something thirty or forty year olds should be capable of.”
“Perhaps they’re between two to four hundred years old.”
“Either way, Skyhold Bridge will be exciting to watch. I wonder how the high-status geniuses of the divine wonderians will interact with them.”
“What if the divine wonderians get outshone?”
“Hey, don’t just simply say that!”
There was no shortage of discussion about them in the Skydome Mundus.
……
Tianming felt a little more awake at Starting City, having returned from an unbelievably beautiful dreamscape.
“Master, congratulations on obtaining the right to cultivate at the Reges Mundi Pillar!” the wondersky fairy said, hugging her arms with a look of crazed admiration in her eyes. The Reges Mundi Pillar was where the foundation caeli of the divine wonderians were stored. It was visible from all corners of Starting City. It was a towering, white pillar that stretched into the clouds. Across its length were many reliefs of the faces of divine wonderian reges mundi, each one majestic and aloof. The reliefs of their faces alone were able to inspire a sense of respect and awe in others.
“Let’s go now.”
“Alright.”
As they walked through Starting City, Tianming noticed quite a lot of people looking at them. Most of them were above five centuries of age, some of whom were quite some ways across Skyhold Bridge already. Every single astral god who could make their way there was no simple character. They chatted with some of their acquaintances about Tianming, but none of them came to actually talk to him.
Eventually, he saw a young divine wonderian youth ahead, who ran toward him and smiled. Politely, he said, “Li Tianming, you have been invited to a banquet by Fengqing Yin.”
