Chapter 2559 - Spirit Cosmos Eye
Chapter 2559 – Spirit Cosmos Eye
Meow Meow’s fur crackled with lightning as it deployed its Regalfiend Wings, its body bathed in Ninefold Chaos Thunderscape. Then, it used its Sauvastika Sword Formation with a roar, causing countless lightning swords to congregate above the battlefield! Even without Ji Ji’s support, the Sauvastika Sword Formation that was enhanced by Blitzbane dangerously surged like a wild torrent.
Meow Meow’s abilities had been considerably strengthened since becoming an astral god, allowing it to easily suppress the mid- to low-sanctuary-class warbeasts’ abilities, paving a way straight toward Xiaque Ming! Lightning filled every corner of the landscape, crushing mountains and boulders and leaving behind a trail of charred road. The weaker warbeasts that had been in the way didn’t manage to escape in time and were vaporized. Meow Meow was only trying to make a path, yet it caused so much destruction!
“Haha! Die! So what if you have lots of warbeasts when there are Primordial Chaos Beasts around?!”
In almost an instant, Xian Xian’s myriad abilities like the black roots and sword-shaped leaves locked on to the weaker warbeasts, endlessly raining down on them.
“Give me all the tasty ones! But not the sparrow, that has barely any meat.” Its spiritform flew around, drooling nonstop and ignoring the fact that its belly was constantly expanding. These weren’t enemies, but delicacies! There were tens of them, enough for a feast!
Xian Xian didn’t need any convincing from Tianming to work harder at expanding its dominion to capture the starvore frogs. Vines struck and bound them, Evernight Curse caused confusion, Trisoul Fiendsong made them hallucinate, Bloodrain Swords drew endless streams of blood, Demise Greenloti blasted them to pieces, and the Radixsword Leaves skewered them! However, the black roots were the most important, but most often neglected part of the Radix World Tree. They were the mouths through which it fed. A beast of Xian Xian’s caliber, when given the right conditions, packed an absolute punch, taking on tens of beasts alone, some of which were larger mid-sanctuary-class ones.
Thanks to its crowd control efforts, it provided the perfect playground for Lan Huang to use its Primordial Swords and Myriadstar Swordrings as a meat grinder. It charged straight to the front, ignoring all the hits it took that almost instantly recovered with the Greenspark Tower and its nigh-undying astral god physique, sending chunks of pulverized enemies flying in all directions! The sky itself seemed to crack and break when it swung into action. It used its Primordial Soundwave to send waves of warbeasts straggling back, stunned.
Thanks to those two, Tianming, Ying Huo, and Meow Meow easily made their way to Xiaque Ming. Though Xiaque Ming was quite surprised at the turning tide, his feelings of shock and confusion were soon overwhelmed by seething rage. “Die!”
The power of his soul eyes dominated the high-sanctuary-class sunmoon ringsnakes around him, causing them to intercept Tianming and the rest. They used their Sunmoon Aurora ability by getting the heads on both ends to slam into each other, creating an explosive clash of fire and ice that generated destructive rings of stars.
“Let me take care of it!” Meow Meow was still in its Regal Chaosfiend form. It used Triworld Afterlife Halls, forming electric buildings to block the rings of stars and triggering an explosion to wipe them out. At the same time, it made a path for Tianming to weave through. The two-headed snakes were enraged at the sight.
“Meow Meow, I’ll leave the rings with you!” Tianming decided to support it with the Prime Cosmic Rings.
“Okay! I’ll take care of the snakes, so you’d better approve my ten-year nap leave once we’re done!” Only someone as shameless as Meow Meow would say something like that. It seemed that the only reason it did anything at all was to nap more.
The two sunmoon ringsnakes were male and female respectively. When their snake heads bit each other’s, they formed an even larger ring! It was a fusion in terms of both bodies and abilities. Not to mention, it was theoretically possible for an infinite number of sunmoon ringsnakes to connect in this manner to form even larger rings. There were all kinds of odd creatures in the astralscape that could interact in seemingly unnatural ways like that.
Meow Meow didn’t care about any of that, however, and went flying toward the ring of snakes, surrounded by crackling lightning as it charged up its abilities. All it had to do was stop them from interfering with Tianming as he confronted Xiaque Ming; taking down the beastmaster while keeping the warbeasts occupied was key to defeating ebons!
Tianming’s way to Xiaque Ming was completely unobstructed, save for the ink sparrow that coldly stared at him from its perch on Xiaque Ming’s shoulder. “These ebons really have a lot of minions to throw at us. It isn’t easy to get a chance to charge straight at them like this.”
“Ying Huo, go!” Tianming charged through the gaps between the lightning, sun, and moonlight, both hands around the hilt of his sword and his white hair fluttering in the wind. The Grand-Orient Sword’s two forms greatly changed the air he gave out. When they were split, he seemed graceful and agile, but with them combined, he towered over everything like a sturdy mountain. He raised the sword up high, his black left arm contrasting well against his right, granting him an air of absolute strength.
Ying Huo, having fought by his side for years on end, knew what he was thinking without needing to ask. It spread its wings and held them taut and sharp. The next instant, it charged at the foes like a sword bathed in Infernal Blaze.
“The tenth astral phase is called the spirit cosmos eye. At that phase, a spirit eye will form in the astral brain to lay the foundation for the sixth cosmic soul level, which is a crucial step in becoming a cosmic cartographer! Once the eye forms, ebons can amplify their soul attacks with it.” Because of that, Xiaque Ming could be considered to be in a rapid growth state, and that was the reason he was confident he could demolish Tianming.
“My dear sparrow….” Xiaque Ming coldly regarded Tianming’s incoming assault. He stroked the ink sparrow on his shoulder as his eyes and soul eyes on his hand formed vortices. Then the spirit eye in his brain opened! Tianming could even see the glowing eye through his head. It coupled together with the ink sparrow’s eyes, shaking Tianming’s fifth holy soul and causing his head to shake!
