Chapter 2574 - Gold-Eyed Soulfiend
Chapter 2574 – Gold-Eyed Soulfiend
Xiaoxiao, being a devout follower of Tianming, was well aware of his Primordial God-Emperor’s legacy and was quite excited for his sake.
“This is a long-term plan to be sure. I first have to bring the Flameyellow Coffin into the Sky Palace Formation for everyone to have a chance to try it out. Let’s see who benefits the most from it. It’s important that everyone has a chance,” Wudi said. The amount he alone had absorbed was terrifying indeed. There was little doubt that he would be among those who benefited the most from the Flameyellow Bloodsoul. “The coffin itself is rather scary nowadays and I’m unable to use its full might by myself. I wonder, however, if I’ll be able to use the Flameyellow Guard Formation’s power as a leverage for that.”
Tianming recalled the force he had felt when the coffin had suddenly expanded and struck him. “If you can tap into its full potential, it might be even more useful than the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb!”
Wudi really had to learn more about its capabilities. The Flameyellow Coffin had changed beyond their imagination, despite only being a cosmic artifact. Its functions were definitely different from the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb’s. Tianming believed it was better to restore it than the ship at this moment. He decided to send Wudi to the Sky Palace Formation using the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb so that a large-scale test could be carried out. If the benefits really could improve the talent of the denizens of the Sun as a whole, it would be ideal. It definitely seemed to be a likely possibility, based on what they knew so far. After all, even Xiaoxiao—someone from the continent, rather than the sun—could absorb more than ten tons of Flameyellow Bloodsoul, let alone the members of the Myriad Solar Sects or Xuanyuan Dragon Clan. Perhaps the celestial orderians wouldn’t fare much worse, and they were now all Tianming’s believers.
“Godfather, let’s go back to the Sky Palace Formation.” Tianming couldn’t wait to share the fruits of their discovery right away. What possibilities would be unlocked for them when all of their talents were given a huge boost?
“What’re you in such a rush for? I haven’t even demonstrated the other changes yet,” Wudi said with pride.
“What kind of changes? Do you mean those relating to the Flameyellow Guard Formation?” Tianming was quite curious.
“Aren’t you a smart one? Bring me up there!”
The Flameyellow Coffin shrank from something as large as a continent down to something that could easily fit inside a spatial ring. As Wudi didn’t have his own astralship, Tianming decided to get one that was at least a sanctuary-class ship to go with his activities in the sanctuary-class sun.
……
The Ninedragon Imperial Tomb flew past the pink flaming clouds. Soon, it collided with the Flameyellow Guard Barrier, which seemed much tougher than before. Within it flowed a rather volatile nova source.
“The power of the Flameyellow Guard Formation is the key to letting us grow in peace.” If the formation wasn’t able to hold off ether-class divine astralships, that would leave it vulnerable to far too many ships within the Infinitum Mundus, including the Star Hunters’ Traceless. Having the Flameyellow Bloodsoul alone wasn’t enough. The astralguard formation was a cornerstone of their survival, and it was controlled by Wudi using the Flameyellow Coffin.
“Both the Infinitum Swordsea and Mount Taia had sanctuary-class formations. The difference between high- and low-sanctuary-class formations is quite pronounced. I wonder if the current Flameyellow Guard Formation is stronger than the one at the Infinitum Swordsea….” Tianming couldn’t quite tell based on the wavy divine celestial patterns alone. Normally, an astralguard formation that had to cover a much larger area would be easier to break through. But as they could tap into all the nova source of the world, it could also be much thicker than normal defensive formations.
“Let’s begin, Godfather.” Tianming figured that the Flameyellow Guard Formation hadn’t yet achieved its complete form. While the raging flames outside were intense, they couldn’t quite compare to hellstar reaper sword condensate.
Wudi took the coffin out within the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb. Naturally, he didn’t increase its size. “Now watch!” He raised an eyebrow at Tianming and opened the lid. Mysteriously, the Flameyellow Bloodsoul within disappeared. Wudi laid inside the coffin and closed the lid on top.
“Open the hatch!” he yelled from within. Tianming quickly opened the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb’s hatch and the Flameyellow Coffin flew out into the pink flames.
“Watch and see, my son!” Wudi’s voice, amplified by the coffin, resounded loudly nearby.
“Quick, just do it!” Tianming couldn’t stand all the buildup. He stared at the coffin, which seemed to have fused with the pink flames that made up the formation. Then it began to rumble, causing the entire formation to shake as well! It began to glow a blinding gold and crimson, which was even more intense with Ji Ji regulating the nova source. If Ji Ji wasn’t present in the sun’s nova source, it would appear crimson and gold.
“What’s that?” The coffin began to glow and let out ancient sounds. It sounded like a war horn, bringing news of a grand tragedy. Tianming noticed the blurry reliefs on the coffin’s surface begin clearing up! He could clearly see a three-headed, six-armed Soulfiend depicted on the coffin!
“Why’s the Soulfiend there?” Wasn’t the Soulfiend the servant of the Primordial Demonlord? Why would it be depicted on the Flameyellow Coffin?
