Chapter 2651 - Broken Divine Body
Chapter 2651 – Broken Divine Body
Tianming had attempted to assimilate the Fienddragon Core before. It was utterly terrifying to the point that, even though he had time before, he didn’t dare risk it. But now that trillions of lives hung in the balance and Wudi was barely scraping by for survival, it was finally worth taking that risk.
He no longer hesitated. “Godfather, I’ve made up my mind!”
“About what? Giving me a grandson?!” Wudi asked.
“No way in hell! You need to survive today first if you’re to have a chance of seeing your grandson!” Tianming didn’t say anything else. The Ninedragon Imperial Tomb descended and entered the Sky Palace Formation.
“What the hell? He abandoned me and ran! What a useless, unfilial son!” Despite Wudi’s complaints, there was a heartfelt smile on his face. He knew that Tianming had gone to risk his life. If the Dreamchild hadn’t appeared, they wouldn’t have had to do something like this. That luxury was no longer afforded to them.
“Hey, you assholes! Don’t tell me these babies are yours! They all resemble you in some way, and there are tens of millions of them! Did you birth them solely to use them to nourish yourselves? Is there any more evil act than that? Hahahaha!” Wudi knew what he had to do. His random insults seemed to cause a torn expression to manifest on the faces of the divine wonderians. They howled and utilized even more divine wonder ki to press down on the coffin, yet they didn’t seem to have much of an edge. Now that their attention was focused on the coffin, the Dreamchild had stopped descending, allowing the flameyellow fiends to absolutely hammer away at it. It would explode from all that abuse, sooner or later.
“Come to daddy, my little fiends! I’ve got a fresh new fart in store for all of you!”
……
The Ninedragon Imperial Tomb landed in the center of the Sky Palace Formation, within which people were tightly packed. Tianming looked around and saw so many people that were connected to him through Omnisentient Threads. He could name each and every one of them, and knew everything about their lives. It was a special feeling that nobody apart from him would ever experience. Merely being looked at by all those people filled him with immeasurable power.
“Wait for me!” Tianming charged in the direction of Fienddragon Palace. There were nine such palaces within the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb. The first five housed the Silverdragon, Blackdragon, Blooddragon, Blazedragon, and Whitedragon cores and were about the same size. The latter four palaces, however, were considerably more massive, and the Fienddragon Palace was one of them. Its formation core was also double the size of the Blackdragon Core, which also hinted at the amount of power it seemed to promise. The former five cores were in the same league, but the latter four weren’t.
As such, Tianming felt like he had almost died when he’d attempted to assimilate the Fienddragon Core, whereas he felt completely fine while assimilating the Whitedragon Core. The astrons that made up his body had quite a tough time housing all those cores. If it weren’t for the Order Relic, he wouldn’t have been capable of such a feat. But no matter how domineering the Fienddragon was, Tianming would have to confront it.
Finally, it came! Within the pink nova source inside the palace, a menacing black and crimson dragon glared at Tianming as he approached. Its body was formed from dense divine celestial patterns, far denser than those of celestial tomes. Each and every scale was a collection of unique patterns, giving it a domineering air. It applied pressure on Tianming, a sign that it believed that he wasn’t worthy of its submission. Forcefully attempting it would result in a bad outcome, so it tried to scare him away. Perhaps it wouldn’t resist if it believed that the time was right.
“Apologies, I have no choice but to do this. I’ll leave my survival to fate!” Tianming’s eyes radiated a firm resolution as he faced down the growl of the Fienddragon Core. He grit his teeth and tensed his entire body as he approached it. “Wait, no!” He suddenly understood something when he was just about to face the core’s wrath. “I shouldn’t be leaving my survival to fate, but myself! Trillions of people out there are waiting for an answer! I can’t let down their hopes! I must survive, no matter what!”
Their gazes had given him faith! Perhaps he was feeling the effects of the Flameyellow Bloodsoul through his connection with them, or perhaps he was just defying fate so strongly that it had no choice but to move aside! Either way, his fighting spirit and faith in his survival had never been stronger than it was now.
When his confidence ballooned, he also felt the boundless ether-class world’s impetus gather around him, a familiar sensation indeed. The impetus used to belong to the Sun Emperor, but now Tianming was its sole owner. While the Fienddragon Core wasn’t his yet, the entire Sun was! An ether-class world’s support caused his body to heat up with the faith of trillions of people, the force of which clashed against the belligerent core.
“Die!” Tianming treated the core like his enemy. The core hadn’t wanted to destroy him and had merely been warning him off for his own good, fearing that his heptastar cosmic physique wouldn’t be able to take it, but that didn’t matter to Tianming. He was fighting for his life! He would fight and struggle! The moment the Fienddragon Core collided with his body, the crimson and black dragon’s essence wreaked untold destruction across his entire body in an instant, turning his body into the crimson and black of burning coals.
“Aaaaagh!” His scream of terror echoed throughout the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb. The girls waiting at the entrance felt their hearts tearing apart.
“Don’t panic, he isn’t dead! That sicko’s holding on!” Ying Huo hollered, laughing. Though it made it sound casual, its voice actually shook. It knew what Tianming was going through, thanks to their telepathic connection. The charred-looking body cracked apart, starting from his arms, and then his legs. He no longer looked like a complete person. Any normal person would have died from damage of that level. Yet his separated limbs, head, and torso seemed to be being pulled together by an unseen force, a force of sheer will, the Sun’s impetus, and the hopes of the Omnisentient Threads!
“I’ll turn this around and triumph! The Infinitum Mundus shall become the foundation upon which my dynasty is built!” cried the broken head within the palace. At that moment, the split body forcefully fused back together.
