Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 2713 - Pentacolor Formless Elephants

Chapter 2713 – Pentacolor Formless Elephants

The cold look coming from Tianming’s eyes made Chen Yin feel a tinge of regret. All he could do was mount a fighting retreat. His damaged totems could eventually recover, and as long as he was able to take down Tianming with Jiang Yong’s help, nothing would change. There was still a chance. However, his face paled in the next instant—Jiang Yong had been stopped by Tianming’s beasts.

“Impossible! His totems are so strong, so the beasts must be from blood pacts! They have to be weak! Jiang Yong, are you faking it? Do you have something against me?!” Chen Yin began panicking; Jiang Yong was someone who had gone through thick and thin with him on the battlefield!

“Shut up!” Jiang Yong was feeling frustrated as well. He knew that Tianming’s beasts were definitely inferior in terms of cultivation, yet their weird tricks made them really hard to take down! The little chick’s mirage-like clones allowed it to flit from one critical attack to another. The Regal Chaosfiend was stupidly fast and kept bombarding him with lightning.

Not to mention the two-headed dragon that had skin so thick it was able to single-handedly stop two of Jiang Yong’s beasts. The tree, on the other hand, was far away and out of reach, yet its roots and vines were able to constrict and slow down his beasts! As for the ubiquitous metal insects, there were an endless number of them even after continuously squashing them!

“Take down that tree first. Help me break through!” Jiang Yong finally noticed the key. With Xian Xian around, his five lifebound beasts were unable to run at all.

His beasts were pentacolor formless elephants. Each of them had a star count of around three hundred thousand and boasted gigantic physiques that rivaled Lan Huang’s, glowing with five-colored light that dazzled and confused people, making them rather hard to detect or track. Not to mention, their huge physiques granted them fearsome physical capabilities! When they started stampeding using their cosmoforce, not even ten Lan Huangs would be able to get in their way.

Xian Xian’s Radiant Vines, black roots, Radixsword Leaves, Evernight Curse, Bloodrain Swords, Fiendsong Mares, and Demise Greenloti were doing a lot of heavy lifting to stop those elephants, much to their frustration. No matter where they went, Xian Xian’s abilities were there to hinder them. Many of the black roots even tried to worm into their orifices.

Coupled with Lan Huang and Yin Chen’s assault, as well as Meow Meow’s support, it was a killer combination. While Ying Huo and the rest weren’t powerful enough to kill the elephants, they were more than capable of keeping them at bay.

Ying Huo was taking on Jiang Yong himself. It didn’t forget to use its ultimate move: mouthing off! “You’re ugly! Your nose looks like a piece of huge garlic! Your breath smells like cock, no, more like Little Li’s cock times two! When they’re flaccid, I might add!” All the while, it attacked and evaded using Infernal Haze. Jiang Yong had tried chasing it down, only to witness Chen Yin’s totems crumbling. Stunned by the sight, he gave up on Ying Huo and charged toward Tianming.

“Wow, look at that genius turning his back to me.” Ying Huo excitedly unleashed Redsky Unistrike, soaring towards Jiang Yong like a shooting star. It created a sea of flames using Infernal Blaze, hiding within it. Even with Jiang Yong’s cosmic charts, he was still annoyed to no end by Ying Huo.

Meanwhile, Tianming wanted to quickly end things and didn’t give Chen Yin any chances at all. “Chen Yin! Take this, you bastard!” He vented his days of pent-up frustration all at once. He split the Grand-Orient Sword into two after allowing the prime wonder to shatter for an opening he could use. It was his first time facing off against a cosmic cartographer without any external help, a staggering sign of progress that would impress those on the Sun.

The two swords pulsed with sword ki as he activated his first simulacrum, Swordheart! The decapath era godswords suddenly shrank and flew into the Grand-Orient Swords, five in each. The current Tianming possessed immense damage potential against single targets!

“Die!” He unleashed Xiaozhi Sword Art, Duostrike Sandglass, and Grandvoid Compendium, Flowerfall Flow! The moves rapidly charged up as Tianming closed the distance.

“Fool! Learn the difference in the power between an orderan and a cosmic cartographer!” Chen Yin exclaimed.

The baguas in the cosmic charts behind him shone, blending with the power of his order and releasing an incredible pressure, which, under normal circumstances, could have completely mitigated the power of Tianming’s own orders, completely crushing his momentum! That was the only reasonable result of a clash between a seventh-astral orderan and a cosmic cartographer.

However, Tianming’s Order Relic Universal Body came into effect. By the time Chen Yin realized that the power of his order was sinking into an endless black hole, it was far too late.

“What?!” He got into a defensive stance, but it was too late. Duostrike Sandglass carved out a void space, contorting his body and stance. The black sword that was used for Flowerfall Flow was wielded by Tianming’s black arm. It pierced Chen Yin’s heart through and struck the cosmic chart behind him, sending waves of destructive sword ki into it!

“Huh?!” Chen Yin stared at Tianming with a look of despair. His body hadn’t disintegrated yet, but the cosmic charts behind him were turning into stardust like transient fireworks.

The moment Chen Yin’s life faded away, Tianming was stunned. He had never thought that the death of a lifeform at this level of existence could look so beautiful, nay, magnificent! He watched as the expression of pain on Chen Yin’s face turned into little globules of starlight and scattered.

“Is this still a body of flesh and blood?” Astral gods had desires and needs, ones that were far stronger than mortals’. Tianming’s own seventh astral organ made him lust after women even more than it had when it was mortal flesh. But after witnessing the death of a cosmic cartographer, he came to truly understand that the process of cultivation was one that made him less human in another conventional sense.

Despite the beauty of the unfolding death, it didn’t stop him from taking the wealth that belonged to Chen Yin. It was only natural within the Xenoabyss.

“Chen Yin!” Jiang Yong was devastated. He glared at Tianming and the scattering flower behind him.

Tianming merely cracked a smile after a moment of silence. “It’s your turn. Let’s see if you still dare to play around with that tower of mine.”

With Chen Yin dead, killing Jiang Yong would be a walk in the park.
