Chapter 2792 - The Most Important Thing Ever
Chapter 2792 – The Most Important Thing Ever
“Shrine Master Mu must have no less than grade-four order fragments, but he’s already one of the antiquitean imperials and he’s loyal to Antiquitas Mortis. His daughter has a high status, so she’ll definitely move about in the future… It seems that news about a xeno fatigue healer can no longer be hidden!”
Tianming had to be even more secretive. After further contemplation, he decided he would get Yin Chen to look for someone first! But that would also be dependent on luck.
Yin Chen was spread throughout the Ninth District. Given how large the district was, its population was small in comparison and most of its inhabitants were specters. As there were no formations, it could easily surveil and track. Tens of thousands of Yin Chens were monitoring every major force within the Xenoabyss, including those Shrine Master Mu knew.
It had to screen out a suitable target. The process itself wasn’t complicated. Yin Chen knew very well who among the many people it monitored were stricken with xeno fatigue and waiting to die. All it had to do was eliminate them one by one and choose the most suitable one. Finally, it gave Tianming five candidates.
“Stop talking. Spell out what you’re going to say.” Tianming rolled his eyes.
It was tiring talking to Yin Chen.
“Fuck you…! How dare… you humiliate… me me?!” Yin Chen cussed but still spelled out the words with the silver centipedes. In no time at all, thousands of centipedes had formed several hundred words before Tianming.
Tianming seemed to have discovered something new—Yin Chen’s writing was much faster than telepathic communication. It only took a moment for it to spell out this entire paragraph due to good coordination between its bodies. Tianming also had strong reading skills. The information and details of the five people were clear to the eye.
“Let’s go with the kid named Mu Ling who’s a relative of Shrine Master Mu. His father is Shrine Master Mu’s direct subordinate and is usually by his side. Mu Ling’s basically at home by himself.”
Although the kid lived near the New Shrine, he was merely a first-astral orderan so Tianming could easily control him.
“I’ll use the Imperial Sword Prison on Mu Ling after healing him so he listens to me, and I’ll make sure his father keeps quiet and shares his son’s recovery with Shrine Master Mu alone,” Tianming said.
“The kid’s destiny is going to change. He’ll wake up laughing from his dreams!” Ying Huo said delightedly.
“How should I put this? If the situation wasn’t so complicated, I’d be willing to help many others…. We’ll see in the future!” Tianming said.
He had his eyes on Mu Ling. Now that he had come to a decision, he sneakily made his way to the New Shrine, wasting no time. The most dangerous place was also the safest, and Yin Chen had eyes all over the place anyway. Thus, Tianming confidently walked into a small town in the Ninth District, bypassing many antiquitean experts, and quickly found Mu Ling. To keep his identity a secret, his entire body was wrapped up, not showing a single strand of hair. He even changed his voice.
“Don’t move!”
It was almost too easy for Tianming to control a first-astral orderan with xeno fatigue. He healed the kid of his xeno fatigue in the shortest time possible. Mu Ling was simply dumbfounded; it felt like a dream to him. When Tianming was finished, Mu Ling’s eyes were filled with tears. It was the power of faith. In his eyes, Tianming was a god who saved people from their suffering. Those with xeno fatigue all looked like him after recovering.
Injecting his Imperial Sword Prison into Mu Ling, Tianming demonstrated his power and said, “I saved you because I need your help. I’ll kill you if you don’t do as I say.”
“Okay!” Mu Ling excitedly nodded.
Tianming left after explaining what he wanted and found a place to wait for Mu Ling’s father to return. Yin Chen was watching everything.
Soon after, Mu Ling’s father returned to find that his son had recovered. The thousand-meter-tall specter froze, then jumped up and down with his son in his arms.
“Father! Father! My benefactor healed me because he needs my help!” Mu Ling didn’t say anything about the Imperial Sword Prison.
“Help with what?” his father asked.
Mu Ling then explained Tianming’s plan.
“The senior’s real purpose is to obtain five grade-four order fragments, but he doesn’t want to reveal his identity so he’s using you as proof?” asked his father.
“Yes, Father! I’m so lucky! All I have to do is help him, while Shrine Master Mu has to pay to heal his daughter!” Mu Ling happily said.
“You’ve benefited from this…. You’re lucky indeed.” Mu Fu had tears in his eyes.
After pondering for a moment, he grabbed Mu Ling’s shoulders and said, “Let’s go right now. Shrink yourself and I’ll take you to Shrine Master Mu. Don’t let anyone see you before that!”
“I know…. No one’s ever been able to heal xeno fatigue. My recovery will definitely cause a stir. Once it gets out, there’s going to be powerful people studying me every day,” Mu Ling said.
“Yes!”
Mu Fu immediately took his son to see Shrine Master Mu.
…….
Deep within the New Shrine.
Shrine Master Mu and Mu Fu were on good terms because they shared the same predicament, that is, both had children with xeno fatigue.
“Shrine Master, there’s something I must speak to you about. This is the most important thing ever!” Mu Fu shouted from outside the door. He wouldn’t ordinarily intrude because this was a forbidden area of the New Shrine, where Shrine Master Mu and his daughter resided, and they didn’t like to be disturbed.
“Give me a moment,” a hoarse voice said through the door. After a while, the voice said, “Come in.”
Mu Fu carefully led his son toward the spacious inner hall. Purple mist enveloped the hall. Two huge eyes suddenly appeared in the depths as an enormous snakehead with five colors stuck out of the mist, staring at the two visitors.
“The most important thing ever? What do you mean?” Shrine Master Mu coldly asked. He seemed a little distracted.
“Shrine Master, take a look at my son, Mu Ling!” Mu Fu excitedly said.
The five-colored giant snake narrowed his eyes, but in an instant, they doubled in size.
“His xeno fatigue is gone!” the giant snake shouted, shrinking at once. A two-meter-tall antiquitean with five-colored hair and a tail suddenly appeared in front of Mu Ling, staring at him and reaching out to touch his eyes and nose. Eyes red, hands trembling, he demanded, “Tell me, how’d you do it! Tell me! Tell me now!”
Mu Fu had fully expected his excitement and eagerness because they were both fathers.
“Shrine Master, it’s good news! Your daughter also has a chance to recover! Please calm down and listen!” Mu Fu replied.
“Alright!” Shrine Master Mu took a deep breath. Then, with a wave of his hand, he said, “Speak, Brother.”
