Chapter 2817 - Sixfold Simulacrum
Chapter 2817 – Sixfold Simulacrum
Yi Daiyan’s sword ki strands broke through the astralship’s barrier and rapidly ground away at its hull. The next instant, the blazing sword had entirely pierced through it, instantly vaporizing Shengguang Huang’s twelve cosmic charts!
He lost all his senses as he cried out in despair. The miniaturized nova source of the ship was struck, triggering a grand explosion that could only be rivaled by the likes of ten thousand stellunar sources. It was more than sufficient to eradicate hundreds of thousands of mortal worlds like the Flameyellow Continent. The wave of devastation spread all throughout the Sacrosanct Sea, unlike the controlled blasts from before.
Dark nova source swept past the waters, people, and lifebound beasts, grinding away at them. The old and weak perished in a single moment. Only the astral gods from the Prestige managed to survive; the normal gods with only albi were reduced to dust!
The days of peace they had enjoyed within defensive formations, thanks to the rules of engagement of the Infinitum Bodhimanda, were long gone. The rules were no longer enforced, giving way to a world of true cruelty and gore. Their lives were completely insignificant to Yi Daiyan. It was as if she was as devastating as an astralship, no, even more! Nobody posed a challenge to her at all; warriors, the weak and astral gods were all the same to her—they were enemies!
Death marked the end of all things. Even those that didn’t believe humans could stand up against astralships were convinced of their complete loss. Nobody among the screaming pile of suffering dared to look up at the fiendish woman that had brought their demise. Her radiant sword-form cleaved through many astralships, allowing her to breach them and slaughter the poor sheep within. They either died, or they ran and died tired. Some of them could only watch as she destroyed their miniature nova sources, triggering yet more explosions.
“Her true aim is to destroy the astralships!”
“Quick, run!”
“How could this be?!”
Astralships were weapons of war, yet now they were convenient targets to be used against the sanctlighters. No normal person could have breached astralships in this fashion until Yi Daiyan came along. They finally understood why she’d had the patience to remain passive for so long. With such a divine item in hand, she was able to exploit the weaknesses of astralships, singlehandedly bringing warfare back to the times of old where people died like flies in combat.
Sword ki and totems reigned supreme, exploding astralship after astralship. It was so chaotic that people couldn’t even keep an eye on Yi Daiyan, so how could they even hope to fight back? Their astralships no longer dared to approach the blast zones. The hundreds of thousands of ships carried billions of their people in a huge exodus. They had planned to entirely give up on the Sacrosanct Sea. Even so, the ships’ explosions might well speed up Yi Daiyan’s extermination of their people.
“It’s insane how she’s able to do all this alone….”
“How horrifying! Do ships or formations not matter anymore? The fortresses our ancestors constructed have become prisons!”
“Aaagh! Aah!”
Countless sanctlighters shed tears like rain. Their escape plan was pretty straightforward, though a third of their ether-class ships still ended up being destroyed. The explosions of their miniaturized nova sources alone cost hundreds of millions of lives. Yi Daiyan would have had a harder time killing so many without them.
Hearing all that from Yin Chen, Tianming felt rather conflicted. “We have yet another cold-blood person, eh….”
The last person that was like that was the sun emperor. But at the very least, he was on the weaker side compared to Skywolf, which had forced him to counterattack. Yi Daiyan, on the other hand, committed atrocious acts while being in a superior position. She’d basically become unparalleled ever since the Sun’s forces had wiped out a third of the ebons’. In a way, Tianming’s actions had helped her out.
The white-haired witch emotionlessly flew across the Sacrosanct Sea, her gargantuan wings changing form from time to time, exuding a powerful radiance that illuminated the entirety of the Sacrosanct Sea. “Sixfold Simulacrum, Lux Imperius.”
Her totem wings changed yet again, much to the shock of those watching. It was a completely new trick up her sleeves that she hadn’t shown until then. The Souldaemon Wings blasted apart into countless colored feathers that covered every inch of the sky. The feathers then turned into celestial beings, tens of millions of them, all of whom looked identical to Yi Daiyan with the exception of their mirrored faces. They all wielded swords that they pointed at the escaping sanctlighters.
Yi Daiyan herself looked at the ships around her. Her calm voice sounded like blades to the ears of the people within as she said, “You may be able to escape today, but from now on, the Infinitum Mundus shall no longer tolerate the sanctlighters. Everything your ancestors have built will be destroyed by my hand, including the one and a half billion of you that failed to escape.”
