Chapter 2891 - The Final Battle
Chapter 2891 – The Final Battle
Although Tianming’s actual cultivation level remained the same, his power continued soaring as the wrath of the Sun poured into his being, far surpassing that of a tenth-level cosmic cartographer. The Ninedragon Imperial Tomb took off once more. This time, Tianming had had Yin Chen locate a new battlefield, the gathering point for the divine wonderians.
In no time at all, eight teams had gathered there, their numbers reaching fifty thousand pairs, or a hundred thousand people. The forces commanded by Lin Xiao couldn’t deal with such a large group. Only Tianming and Xiaodao could! But without the support of an infinitum-class divine wonder, Xiaodao wouldn’t have an easy time going up against so many wonderians. Tianming was the only one equipped to deal with them.
“Hurry up!” The more time he wasted, the larger their numbers and the more difficult his task. “Time means death, their deaths!”
The nine-headed black and gold mechanical dragon flew under the Sun’s blazing clouds, rushing toward a mountain not too far away, where fifty thousand divine wonderian pairs had all activated their divine wonders, forming a defense a hundred thousand layers strong. They had been informed that the Sun’s astral gods were hunting them down. Although they had been worried at first, they grew more confident as their numbers increased. By this point, they were even in the mood for laughter and jokes.
“We have a hundred thousand divine wonders. There’s only seven hundred thousand astral gods on the Sun—they can’t all attack us!”

“We don’t have to worry. Others will arrive soon. In just two hours, there’ll be eighty thousand of us. This might be our final meeting point!”
“What can seven hundred thousand astral gods do when there’s a million of us? They want to kill us with just their astralships?! They can dream on!”
“Yeah! Let’s show these savages what our divine wonders can do!.” freew𝚎bn𝐨𝘃𝐞𝗹.𝗰𝚘𝗺
“We’re fine! Let’s drink and be merry! Our rex mundi dispatched an army of eight million of us. We’re bound to capture this star! We can do whatever we want!”
The wonderians were xenophobic and possessed a great sense of superiority. They claimed to have come from an advanced world with a virtual reality, the wondersky realm. But just as these wonderians began relaxing, the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb descended from the sky and landed right in their midst, nine heads roaring in unison and unleashing Fiendvore Dragonbreath. Following a thunderous explosion, the mountains and rivers in the area went up in smoke and the fortress formed by a hundred thousand divine wonders collapsed in an instant.
That was the power of the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb.
The wonderians had been gathered in a dense crowd, giving the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb an advantage. Its first attack alone had slaughtered thousands of astral gods who’d failed to react in time. And those who escaped still did so with injuries. There were even others whose cosmic charts were destroyed.
It was clear that astralships could still deal damage to astral gods, given the right conditions. If it was powerful enough, if they had the element of surprise and their targets were grouped together, then Fiendvore Dragonbreath could kill them in job lots.
The loud explosion turned the wonderians ashen. Like frightened birds, they quickly dispersed. Soon, they were over a hundred times more spread out than before, so it would be impossible for the tomb to take out as many people at once. But it was enough. Tianming emerged from the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb under their bewildered gazes.
“It’s him!”
“I heard he just killed over twenty thousand people!”
“Some say that he’s been seen fighting alongside the eightpart apparition wonder!”
“Run!”
The wonderians had smartened up. But unfortunately for them, the eightpart apparition wonder appeared. Tianming resolutely fought, his every move more ferocious than the ones before. He bore the weight of the people’s wrath; their home had been invaded! Their fiery emotions transformed into omnisentient power and poured into his body.
“Die!”
An air of death enveloped the battlefield. Both the ruler of the Sun and the eightpart apparition wonder swept through the wonderians. It didn’t matter that they were astral gods. In the face of the incoming attacks, they were all but powerless.
An hour later, fifty thousand divine wonderian pairs were all dead.
A fierce war broke out over the entire Sun. Seizing the moment, the astral gods of the Sun sprang into battle. Yin Chen monitored the battlefield and made preparations, coordinating all operations to avoid a sudden increase in enemies in any given area. The number of fighters on the battlefield was balanced.
Aware of Tianming’s plans, the wonderians gave their all. It finally felt like a real nova source war. They implemented a new strategy, to gather in small groups of ten to twenty thousand spread out as far apart as possible, but they would move in the same direction as a whole. As soon as there were a hundred thousand people in the same area, they would
assemble to form a large fortress.
Lin Xiao’s army of astral gods would have difficulty hunting down these small, scattered groups.
However, they would need at least two hundred thousand astral gods to deal with their larger groups, and there simply weren’t enough astral gods on the Sun! Thus, it would be impossible to stop the wonderians from assembling. All they could do was kill as many of them as they could.
With Moran by his side, Tianming was the most powerful and efficient killer on the Sun. Xiaodao wasn’t even half as quick at slaughtering the enemy, let alone other astral gods. Moran’s eightpart apparition wonder couldn’t cover such a large area after the wonderians separated into smaller groups.
Eighty thousand dead divine wonderian pairs later, Tianming’s kills fell sharply. It seemed the wonderians had begun taking things seriously after experiencing the cruelty of battle.
The cat-and-mouse battle continued for three days. Amidst the ever-changing situation, half a million wonderians had gathered somewhere on the Sun. Elsewhere, another two hundred thousand divine wonderian pairs came together. Aside from those two large groups, about fifty thousand others were spread out across the Sun, though they didn’t pose much of a threat.
Tianming and the others observed the two large armies.
“It’ll be hard to defeat five hundred thousand without sustaining losses. They’ll be a great threat to the Sun if these two groups join up.”
“Deploy all astral gods on our astralships. We must annihilate these two hundred thousand wonderians and monitor those outside the Sun!”
At that moment, both the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb and Gladean Ruins rushed toward the gathering point of two hundred thousand wonderians.
