Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 2957 - Tyrants Descent

Chapter 2957 – Tyrant’s Descent

Tianming’s lifebound beasts had entered his body and fused with him, passing on the destructive manna energy that they couldn’t handle to him. He was taking on the destructive energies from four of his beasts that originated from peak-grade manna the flameyellow divinities had left behind! The manna of fire, lightning, mountainseas, and plants formed fortresses with hexagonal holes on every side, carrying mystical and boundless energy. The secrets the manna held could perhaps be the secrets of the universe itself.

“Unnggghhh!” Tianming had already been in great pain from the Bloodweaver, but a completely new sensation overwhelmed him! A terrifying blaze began to eat away at his right arm and spread into his body, organs, and head—even his other limbs. The lightning from his left arm, indomitable mountainsea power from his right leg, and disastrous overgrowth from his left leg also spread out all across his body.

All those destructive energies from different lifebound beasts gathered within him and triggered a massive transformation. In almost an instant, a cocoon formed around Tianming’s Bloodweaver-riddled body. He had become a lifebound beast, or more accurately, a part of the Primordial Chaos Beasts!

The cocoon was similar to his beasts’ from earlier, but contained four types of energy instead of one! Within it, the Bloodweaver and destructive energy wracked his body at the same time. He couldn’t hold it and let out an ear-piercing shriek, one unlike he ever had before.

Demoness Yin wasn’t feeling too easy, either, despite witnessing Tianming’s tribulation. “What… is this?! The beastmaster and lifebound beasts fused right at the brink of death? What in the world?!”

She had never seen anything like it, ever. The Yishker Clan’s snake ears were lifebound beasts, but they were born with them. It was completely unlike what Tianming was going through now.

“The Sky Starvore Fiendart states that the astrons I absorb can’t have any impurities. If astrons from a third party are present, the absorption will fail and three thousand years of effort would go to waste!” Ying Huo, Meow Meow, Lan Huang, and Xian Xian’s astrons had flowed into Tianming’s body. The impurities were exceedingly high! “But if the lifebound beasts were able to fuse with him, doesn’t that mean their bodies are of similar composition? Do they even count as impurities?”

Demoness Yin, still in her minor astral giant form, simply couldn’t figure it out. “The Sky Starvore Fiendart didn’t stipulate whether or not lifebound beasts were considered impurities! Most often, the lifebound beasts would be slaughtered before the process even begins! Sister Yun didn’t tell me anything about this!”

With Demoness Yin so far away from home, there was no way for her to reach out to anyone to guide her. That was especially the case when she wasn’t even actually a member of Myriadpath Valley! “Should I take the risk?”

She cast a perplexed gaze at Tianming, still struggling within the bloody cocoon. On the one hand, she had already activated the fiendart. It was really difficult to stop, and she might have to wait another three thousand years to do it again. By then, she would be on the brink of death! But on the other, if lifebound beasts were considered impurities, her Sky Starvore Fiendart would collapse and she would die along with Tianming and his beasts! The sudden changes almost drove her to the point of vomiting blood. Muster her courage as she tried, she still wasn’t able to make a decision.

“If I don’t suck him up, he’ll be killed by the manna! Is there a replacement for him?” Her hesitation stemmed from her fear of death. If she didn’t take the risk, she would have to give up on ever using the fiendart again and cultivate like normal; her aspirations would be completely dashed.

Tianming’s tribulation reached a new height while she hesitated. Afraid that he would die too soon, she loosened three-fourths of the Bloodweaver’s threads to ensure that he would live longer, so she would have more time to ruminate. All the astrons in his astral organs and bones were being wracked by the chaotic energies.

Ying Huo and the rest were still fusing with him. For instance, the sword-like feathers on his right arm had grown past his shoulders and reached his back! Meow Meow’s electrical fur extended far out from the scales of his black left arm, and its monochrome lightning patterns covered his body, back, neck, and parts of his face and black eyeball. The blue and brown scales of Lan Huang stretched from his right leg to his lower back and waist, blending in with the sword feathers, while Xian Xian’s floral patterns meshed with Meow Meow’s lightning circuits.

It was as if the innate traits of the Primordial Chaos Beasts were waging war in his body! As they attempted to fuse, they also wreaked havoc on him. The external changes made Tianming look like a horrifying chimera of beast and man—there was no such thing as a beautiful and harmonious fusion. He looked entirely feral and demonic, turning from a just ruler to an absolute tyrant! But alas, this tyrant wasn’t harsh on his own people, but rather on the foes of the Sun.

Tianming’s lifebound beasts felt a little better after fusing with him. Many parts of their bodies had stopped scattering into astrons and begun stabilizing. Ying Huo’s sharp beak, for instance, had split into five parts and turned into the nails of Tianming’s right hand. Each nail could open like a beak and unleash infernal-flame-based abilities! Not to mention, Ying Huo’s two little eyes opened on the back of his hand!

Another eye also appeared on the back of his black left hand, seemingly complementing the singular Sky Plundering Eye on his palm. Both were filled with crackling lightning and had lazy eyelids that resembled Meow Meow’s.

On his thick, draconic right leg, a blue dragon head formed on his knee while a flattened brown one formed on his foot. The brown head contained the power of the earth, making it perfectly connected to the ground upon which it stood. Lan Huang’s kui seas even formed near a part of the leg that looked suspiciously similar to a belly.
