Chapter 2979 – Storm of Carnage

Shenxi Xingtian felt joy like never before. He had thought that he would never be happy again after being the one to cause the doom of the ebons. However, he was absolutely stunned when he opened the sealed box only to see that odd lifeform from millions of years ago was still reproducing within such a tight space.

He finally understood how terrifying the universe truly was. Who was the one who created lifeforms like Hong Chen? It was as if they had been created with the sole purpose of making all life extinct. Had it been a few years back, Shenxi Xingtian would never touch it. But with his wives and children dead and his entire clan wiped out, dragging everyone else down into the abyss with him and the ebons was ideal. He couldn’t wait to see the expression on the faces of those that had plotted against him.

“By feeding you and letting the body of the bloodline wisteria spread you far and wide, I was the one that revived you. I’m like your father, while the bloodline wisteria is your mother! While we might cease to exist, you’ll always be here, spreading until the entire Infinitum Mundus becomes covered in your red dust!”

There was no better carrier for the tiny lifeforms than the bloodline wisteria. Thanks to it, the lifeform could almost instantly spread far and wide. Shenxi Xingtian’s laughter echoed throughout the endless bloody mist.

“Make sure you don’t work yourself up too soon. Stay hidden until you’re spread far enough, understood?” Shenxi Xingtian gently stroked one of the little balls, as if it was his child. “Let them enjoy the bliss a little longer!”

Shenxi Xingtian laughed loudly and freely, only to stop all of a sudden.

“No!” he snapped, suddenly furious. “There’s two

groups of people that wiped out the ebons. One of them is the others of Ebonia and the other group is on the Sun! Hong Chen’s spread out across Ebonia, but not the Sun!”

The realization of that fact drove him mad. Recalling the faces of Tianming and Xiaodao caused the joy he felt to be replaced by hatred, pain, and frustration! He suddenly turned to the bloodline wisteria and touched its heart. “I’ll leave Ebonia to you and look for a wonderian to bring me to the Sun. Isn’t Yi Daiyan going there for a final battle as well? That’s my chance to burn up everything I have to create a living hell in the Sky Palace Formation!”

The gaze of the eyes on his palms grew more and more intense. “Ebonia and the Sun… all those mortals and gods…. Prepare yourselves to suffer eternal pain! Hehehe….”

As he laughed, the bloody mist seeped into his body and slowly swallowed him up.

……

The battlefield on the Sun had mostly been cleaned up, so everyone went back into the Sky Palace Formation to get ready for the final battle. The army of the Infinitum Bodhimanda was approaching. With five million ships, they caused way more commotion than the eight million wonderians. After all, people were so minuscule that they were hard to spot in the astralscape.

All those ships brought quite a bit of pressure to the denizens of the Sun. There were five million of them, which was quite a lot of firepower for the Flameyellow Guard Formation to take on. While the denizens of the Sun would have despaired before, they no longer had that tendency. The will of the Sun was completely ingrained into their bones! That was the difference between having Tianming and Yi Daiyan as a leader.

Tianming put the Imperial Sword Prison into Fengqing Youmeng, ensuring he could easily control her. She had witnessed the death of her parents with her own eyes, as well as that of Fengqing Youyun, followed by the utter annihilation of the Fengqing Clan—much to her joy. But alas, she was a pitiful person at the end of the day.

“Once you finish helping me, I’ll let you return to the Skydome Mundus and release the infants in the Dreamchild from their misery,” Tianming said.

“Thank you.” She seemed like she had been released from her burdens. While she still seemed at a loss, it was clear that she was feeling much more relieved.

“What’re you thanking me for?” Tianming had thought that she would at least begrudge him for what he’d done.

“Thank you for killing those who deserve to die,” she said, smiling. Perhaps nobody hated their parents more than she did.

The wonderians were truly incomprehensible. They seemed so idyllic and perfect on the surface, yet their hearts were twisted to the max. Everything about their kind had been determined. Even the impressiveness of their divine wonders depended upon the divine wonder embryos their parents gave them. Those that were elites would always remain so, and those who were lesser never had a chance to rise. Tianming knew that there was still more to the wonderians. But fortunately, none of those who were here were able to reach out to their main camp. Their remnants had been completely cut off.

“Let’s depart.” Tianming had Fengqing Youmeng bring him to Ebonia through a xenogate, where he could release Yin Chen and allow it to multiply to its limit.

“There’s half a trillion of you right now. I’ll send you out to the mines of the Swordgod Lin Clan. That should be enough for you to reach a trillion in number.” The mines that’d once belonged to the Swordgod Lin Clan had been split up when they left Ebonia. But as not much time had passed since then, not many places were sealed off by defensive formations, allowing Yin Chen easy access. “Hurry up. I might urgently need you back.”

“You are… getting naggier… as you… get older!” Yin Chen cheekily said.

Even though an army was at his doorstep, Tianming still calmly sent Yin Chen to Ebonia. The moment he arrived, he felt like something was off. “Why’s there a bloody mist everywhere? Did the bloodline wisteria die? Is the mist coming from it?”

“No idea,” Yin Chen said.

The mist seemed harmless. Not to mention, he had more urgent things to deal with. Thus, he released Yin Chen into the mines and returned to the Sun with Fengqing Youmeng’s help. “Your xenogates are truly convenient.”

“They didn’t get to do much anyway, thanks to your bugs,” Fengqing Youmeng listlessly said. With her fair skin and refined features, few would deny that she was the fairest of all in the Skydome Mundus. She bit her lip and asked, “By the way, are you going to start a harem?”

“You’re so undiscerning that you’re even willing to endure being with Lin Ke. I can’t say I’m into that,” Tianming said.

She wanted to cry, but lacked the tears to do so. Her life was completely in Tianming’s hands, and she earnestly feared him. Thus, she didn’t dare to mess around and took him straight back to the Sun. Everyone within the Sky Palace Formation was ready for a fight.
