371 Cat Dad’s Enemies got New Class?
Chapter 371 – Cat Dad’s Enemies got Antagonist Class?
“Oi, are you serious, nya?!”
Nian held his head in confusion. His clone just made a deal with Ma Xingjuan and Odin, but Hongjun suddenly brought his forces over and prepared to attack Slave Dungeon.
Saving his face, Nian rushed to the flagship of Hongjun. He appeared directly on the bow and confronted the three ex-sages.
The three ex-sages sensed the arrival of the caracal cat’s clone. They stared at the three-eye cat.
“What are you doing here, Nian?” Asked Hongjun.
“You’re messing with our Lord’s plan, nya! I’ve just signed a peace treaty with Asgard and the Spear Demoness! If we attack the dungeon now, we’ll be breaking the treaty, nya!”
Zhunti and All-Heaven Sage turned to Hongjun as they had no idea about the treaty and the lord’s order. The old sage stroke his beard and slightly nodded.
“I’m aware.”
“Care to explain what you’re doing, nya?”
“It is what it is. We’re launching a full-scale assault on the dungeon and hunting down Mao Xiaomiao, or should I call him Miao Xiaomao? This is the direct order from Lord Pangu.”
“Hah?!”
Nian didn’t understand. Pangu told him to make peace with Odin’s forces and Mao Miaomiao’s wives, but he ordered Hongjun to kill Xiaomao. Nothing made sense here!
Unable to get the desired answer, Nian’s clone stopped moving and vanished into thin air. The other clones also disappeared from the world.

In a local hotel, Pan Xian’s expression was dark while he sat on the edge of the bed. Two hands held his head, and his elbows rested on his thighs.

He had already calculated his future. Although it was pitch black, there was a ray of hope – The protagonists and the universe’s laws.
Every thousand years, a new generation of genies and outstanding talented mortals were born. Some lucky ones were born into a dominant family. Many grew up in a wealthy and rich environment. On the other hand, the most promising geniuses often had a poor background, and half of them ended up as the protagonists of the era.
Hiiro Narukami, Lee Jinyong, Seo Jungwoo, Bianca Dullahan, James Huntsman, and Chase Sheffield were the new souls that entered this realm as fated ones. As for the other protagonists, they were reincarnators from the old eras.
Xie Tian and Lu Bu carried on their protagonist title as their fated journeys were far from over. Zhou Yu, Zhuge Liang, and Sima Yi, on the other hand, weren’t considered the main character in their past life, but their status rose after their reincarnation. The trio joined W-2 and fought among themselves for hegemony.
Meanwhile, Damocles Caesar, the name that never appeared in the game or the cultivation worlds in the past, kept coming back to Pangu’s mind. The human hadn’t even joined the game world yet, but he already learned a cultivation technique from a random book that he got from a mummy’s corpse in a Pyramid.
Pangu had been observing the young man and secretly sneaked in artifacts that he no longer used to places that Caesar could notice. The young hero never disappointed Pangu as he found everything with ease and grew stronger over time.
While watching over his favorite protagonist, Pangu tampered with the game worlds and added new classes.
Antagonist
Pangu giggled. This class never appeared in history, including the cultivation worlds as everybody always called them “Villains” instead of antagonists, just like how everybody called main characters “Heroes” instead of “Protagonists”.
He had to add this class to the game as the 14 protagonists were too strong in this era. Even after Pangu pitted Hiiro to fight Xiaomao, the guy got intercepted by Shepherd, another protagonist. Then, they almost killed each other after a brief exchange, but Meng Xin managed to rescue Hiiro.
Thinking of Meng Xin, Pangu decided to bless the beggar in the new class to test things out. If the class worked as intended, Pangu would have a new weapon to kill all 14 protagonists of this era, including the ex-protagonists in this universe!
Without the protagonists, Mu-Nyang would be greatly weakened!
While Pangu was calculating his next moves in his mind, Nian’s real body, who had been sleeping in a washroom sink, came out and jumped on the bed with wet feet.
The three-eye cat glared at its owner.
“Master, what the hell are you doing? Why are you ordering Hongjun to attack Slave Dungeon, nya?”
“What? You have a problem?” Pangu glanced at Nian’s wet feet and clicked his tongue in disgust. He pushed the cat back and patted the sheet. Then, the stain vanished.
Nian protested, “My clone just finished a peace talk with Ma Xingjuan and Odin, nya! We agree that we won’t attack each other since Solomon is playing tricks on us. While I’m working so hard, you suddenly sent Hongjun here, nya! Is my work meaningless to you, nya?!”
Hearing Nian’s problem, Pangu laughed and petted him, “Is that why you are mad? You idiot.”
Nian purred and rested on Pangu’s lap. His big body almost slipped off from Pangu’s legs, but he flipped his tummy over, showing his belly, “So, what’s your plan, nya?”
Pangu boldly rubbed Nian’s belly, and the latter instantly caught the former’s arm with his sharp claws. He bit the owner and repeatedly kicked the arms with his hind legs.
The cat’s owner ignored it as Nian couldn’t even hurt or leave a scratch mark on his skin. He closed his eyes and secretly added the new class to the cat.
DING
Nian stopped playing with Pangu’s arm and his three eyes widened. He saw the game message and looked at Pangu in shock.
“Antagonist Class, nya?!”
“Hahahaha! There are already 14 protagonists in this era. Why don’t we add their “Nemesis” to the mix?”
“But why me, nya?!”
“You know, Nian. In some novel stories, a protagonist dies in the end. A few twisted ones are even more interesting – The protagonist that readers have been following from the beginning is the villain of the story, but the antagonist is the hero. Of course, the villains usually die, but the antagonist in the story wins!”
“Oh?!”
Nian gained inspiration and enlightenment. He quickly inspected the detail of his new class while Pangu explained what it could do.
“You see, Nian. Our situation is also similar to those twisted stories. We’re doing our best to protect the universe from that dictator cathulhu and his monster clan. I promote humans, Daos, freedom, and cultivation. What does he do? He enslaves and brainwashes everybody! We’re the heroes while Mu-Nyang and his goons are the villains here!”
Nian repeatedly nodded, “As you said, nya!”
“That’s right. Because of that, protagonists aren’t always the heroes, Nian. Now, you understand the impact of the class?”
“I get it, nya! But what does that have to do with Hongjun’s movements, nya?”
Pangu smirked and waved his index finger, drawing a square in the air. A blue light from his fingertip created a 2-dimensional box. But when the line connected, the square shone and revealed a scene.
It showed the status menu of Hongjun.
“Eh?”
Nian fixated on Hongjun’s raw stats for a moment. Then, he noticed that a new class was added to Hongjun’s class list.
He, too, got the antagonist class!
DING
Suddenly, Hongjun’s status attributes rapidly increased. His combat status was also affected, and many new Daos and elements appeared.
“… Wow.”
Nian was impressed by the changes. He looked at his master in admiration, “So, you sent them there to…”
“Yes, Nian. The best way to test the new class is to pit protagonists and antagonists in a fight while we calculate their fates and future. We will observe and record the experiment before we start sabotaging Solomon, Odin, or Zeus. Ha! I doubt Mu-Nyang has foreseen this!”
Nian clapped while his innocent eyes gazed at his owner in admiration.
“Oh, while I’m at it, what do you think will happen if someone has both Antagonist and Protagonist Class?”
“!!!”
Nian jumped up. His tail stood up as he was interested, “What will happen, nya?!”
“That’s why we will be testing it on one of the protagonists. Let’s start with one of our guys… Hiiro Narukami!”

Meanwhile, Hongjun squinted his eyebrows and inspected the game status menu as he noticed the changes in his body. But upon noticing that he got the new “Antagonist” class from Pangu, his face distorted in dissatisfaction and anger.
As a sage that humans worshiped, this was an insult!
“Me? Antagonist?!”

In front of the Slave Dungeon’s cave, Mao Miaomiao stretched and gazed toward the south. He already noticed the fleet of Hongjun at the center of the Aves Continent, and his hands were itching for a fight.
But as Mao Miaomiao was about to leave, a string of karma flew toward him and attempted to penetrate into his skin.
CLINK
One of Mao Miaomiao’s purple butterflies caught the string and ate it. Then, the karma string stopped moving, and the butterflies swarmed it as if they were vultures.
Mao Miaomiao noticed the commotion and pulled the string out of the butterfly horde. He inspected it and traced it back to the karma user.
“… Hmm?”
The direction led to Divine Theocracy Earth, and Mao Miaomiao saw Pan Xian and Nian’s faces. He also read the karma memory in the string.
“Oh, shit. That’s new. Antagonist? I wish I had that when I was hunting protagonists.”
Mao Miaomiao cackled as he tossed the karma string toward the butterflies. The swarm happily devoured the karma string as if they were the finest wagyu A5 steak.
“But I don’t need that anymore. I’m an outer god, mind you.”
Mao Miaomiao spread his wings and rushed southwest, heading toward a certain walking continent.
