Commanding Wind and Cloud

Chapter 278

Chapter 278: Magical Warrior Heart

At the sight of this move, a light flashed from Enlak’s eyes as if he was seeing some visible sword spirit inside Qian Jin while each blade was a reaction to the Land Tearing Chop falling on him. It seemed like there were numerous warriors hidden inside of Qian Jin rushing out to conduct this deadly counterattack under his order.

The immense sword spirit sprayed here and there. If he continued at this speed, someday in the future, Qian Jin’s power would be invincible enough to command wind and cloud.

Covered with warrior power as sharp as a blade and incisive murderous intent, Qian Jin’s two arms chopped in all directions incessantly.

With the [Dividing Metal Multi-Chops] belonging to Iron-Arm Mantis Bloodline Warriors being activated forcefully, Qian Jin saw blood drops exuding from his pores which were then mixed with the warrior power in his arms to function as two battle blades cutting the throats of hundreds of thousands of people.

Enlak’s pupils kept contracting as Qian Jin’s Dividing Metal Multi-Chops had broken through the limits of one’s stamina and was even more ferocious than ever.

The chops of Dividing Metal Multi-Chops came in as incessantly and smoothly as thousands of sabers being thrown out at the same time to fend off the Land Tearing Chop.

Bang.

When the strikes of Dividing Metal Multi-Chops crashed into the warrior power of Land Tearing Chop, Qian Jin felt that the blood clad around his arms trembled slightly. Then his vision darkened as he flew backward. As he fell down and broke the thick door, one strike of Land Tearing Chop after another flopped on his body.

The smashing oppressing power went beyond the skills and momentum of Dividing Metal Multi-chops. Failed!

Qian Jin flew across the street, fell to the ground, and then started sliding. He hit into the miscellaneous shops on the street with the entirety of his body soaked in scarlet blood.

“This kid…” Enlak watched Qian Jin sliding through and kept nodding. “He’s really interesting. He obviously doesn’t know what Warrior Heart Awareness is, yet is able to stimulate such Awareness by instinct which borders on that of a beast. His instinct supersedes his thinking? How has he trained that?”

Adams walked out of the potion shop, caught sight of Qian Jin lying on the ground with blood spraying all over him and kept shaking his head while sighing. “What an unlucky and obstinate boy. For Warrior Heart? Is it worth this just to try and perceive the so-called Warrior Heart?”

After drinking a bottle of marvelous potion, Qian Jin felt that his stamina was regained at a roaring speed. Apart from the consumed warrior power which was hard to recover, all injuries were recovering at full speed.

Was this the supreme-tier potion? Qian Jin relaxed his limbs that had recovered fully while watching Adams leaving him. He guessed that even the medicine made by the Pharmacy Masters couldn’t be compared to what he had just taken.

“Remember the pain you had suffered just now.” As Enlak flung his hands at the door, the split wooden bits flew away from the floor and pieced themselves together instantly to form two brand new wood doors. “This is also done by my Warrior Heart Awareness…while everyone has their own unique Warrior Heart Awareness. If you do what I tell you, you will be totally destroyed.”

Watching the broken door being reorganized and shut, Qian Jin blinked hard. “Could the Warrior Heart capable of doing construction and civil engineering?”

Qian Jin came back to Blake’s Blacksmith Shop and heard the mysterious blacksmith talk to him directly without casting him a look, “Go forge. And don’t forget the Forging Breathing Technique.”

Qian Jin was itching to ask Uncle Blake what the Forging Breathing Technique was, but at the sight of the latter’s indifferent attitude, he held down his curiosity. Everybody held their curiosity and also the secrets they didn’t want to confess to anyone. You shouldn’t break into other’s privacy out of your own curiosity.

After another sixteen hours of practice, Qian Jin exited from the Endless World and stretched his limbs just to find that the fractured arm bones had fully recovered…it was…amazing.

Having no time to feel the ecstasy, Qian Jin sat down again, closed his eyes, and started recalling his fight with Enlak not long ago with his body, his warrior power, and his Warrior Heart.

What on earth was Warrior Heart Awareness? Qian Jin opened his eyes and smiled, as it had finally dawned on him. It was no wonder that he was beaten hard by Enlak just now. A whole day’s lecture on the notion of Warrior Heart Awareness wasn’t as effective as one single moment in true battle.

It was hard to say for sure what Warrior Heart Awareness was. Qian Jin strolled around the garden, trying to find the medical herbs needed for the eye transplant operation while every now and then he would stop and reflect on the so-called Warrior Heart Awareness. His present understanding is that it was converging one’s vigor, spirits, nerves, awareness, fighting techniques and stamina into one, yet it harbored deeper connotations, involving a long-term progression like one’s growth.

The Warrior Heart wasn’t merely about borrowing the surrounding power, but taking over such power and making it one’s own. Yet it wasn’t as simple as absorbing the power; it somewhat mirrored the Beast Fighting Technique as the primary Beast Fighting Techniques was getting to know the combat approaches of demon beasts and wild animals.

However, the activation of Beast Fighting Technique entailed not only the form of beasts but their spirits. Only by seizing the spirits of the Beast Fighting Technique could you truly master the technique.

The Warrior Heart itself was like a world of its own. Qian Jin suddenly stopped, realizing that Uncle Enlak was definitely right in saying that everyone was immersed in their unique world and that their Warrior Heart Awareness was accordingly different. “What I need to do is to establish my own world.” He thought.

“When shall we carry out the eye transplant operation?”

“Huh?” Qian Jin raised his head and looked at Cech Flet, who was lying amidst the flowers with his wounds not having fully recovered. “Let’s do it after I procure all the necessary medicine materials. But one thing I have to warn you is that the success rate of the operation is low. And even if it proves successful, you may still go blind if you use the eye frequently during a certain period of time.” He said.

“I see.” Cech Flet released a long sigh. “Let’s get started after the materials are in place.”

Qian Jin stopped talking and concentrated on gathering the assorted medicinal herbs. The water where Sand Python was soaked contained no toxins. Contrarily, as the nutrition of the snake had been discharged into the water; it would become extremely healthy and conducive to building up one’s figure if it was drunk by the ordinary people on a frequent basis.

After laying in place all the necessary eccentric props, Qian Jin fed Cech Flet with the anesthesia made from mutated plants; the latter started to lose his conscious.

“Does that hurt?” Qian Jin cut a slice on Cech Flet’s arm. “How painful is that?”

Cech Flet frowned and meditated carefully, “One-third of the usual.”

“Good.” Qian Jin took a deep breath and looked at Cech Flet. “From now on you have to endure the aggravated pain. The eye transplant operation must be accompanied by pain, or it will fail. It must be done on the basis of undergoing certain pains…”

Duren Burg and Fanta Kunge couldn’t help twisting their lips. One-third of the normal pains seemed to be a great alleviation over the original. But one had to note that it was incurred to the eyes! Generally, when your eyes were carelessly hit by someone else, you would cry out in pain; the one-third pain would feel like being pricked on the lower belly by a blade.

All kinds of strange potions were poured into Cech Flet’s mouth at different times and were then dripped into his eyes…The jade knife reflecting green light was stabbed into Cech Flet’s eyes which triggered his sturdy body to tremble harshly. Painful!

Duren Burg couldn’t help but turn away. One single second spent watching would make him throw up. What a crazy occupation the mystic pharmacist was!

Fanta Kunge chose train with his bronze saber. What was happening now had gone beyond his imagination.

One minute seemed as long as one hour at this moment. Cech Flet’s sweat had formed a stream, his blue veins seemed to have been pricked through his skin, and his Bloodline Warrior battle form had been activated as required by Qian Jin.

Special red eye carrying Six-Star Array was being transplanted swiftly.

Six hours elapsed. Qian Jin bandaged Cech Flet’s eyes and said feebly, “Take it off three days later. I’ve tried my best.”

“Em…” Cech Flet was in so much pain that he didn’t feel like saying even one word more.

Qian Jin flopped on the ground like a puddle of mud as this time’s operation was much more exhausting than that in the Endless World. He was coached by his master Eulalia last time, but now he shouldered the task all by himself.

During the time the eye transplant operation was performed, the entire hall was silent and solemn as if millions of tons of stones had been laid on one’s chest. Yet the silence seemed to be exuding the greatest power.

Half an hour later, Duren Burg handed Qian Jin a toasted Sand Scorpion leg which tasted very tender. After devouring the leg, Qian Jin recovered much of his energy. “There ought to be a Sand Python corpse under the water, accompanied by the magic core, presumably…”

Whoosh…

Duren Burg always acted as swift as a lightning. He had already rushed to the water before Qian Jin finished his words.

What was the Sand Python? The magic core of this high-level demon beast was invaluable to both rune artists, Magic Forge Masters, and even mages.

And indeed, its value couldn’t be expressed in words to Hydra Bloodline Warriors.

Qian Jin waved at Fanta Kunge feebly and started marching toward the water curtain.

A new day befell the Ancient Desert Sea where the newly risen sun was like a huge furnace, swiftly expelling the extreme coldness gathered through the night. Stepping on the sand, one could feel the surging warmth, even if he was wearing heat-insulated war boots made of deerskin.

Qian Jin dug two big holes quietly, each of which had a depth of about three meters. Burning heat currents spouted from the black holes as if what existed beneath was not sand, but red lava welled from the volcanic crater.

“Take your two sabers and jump down.” Qian Jin pointed to one of the holes and said to Fanta Kunge, “If you feel suffocated, come out, take a breath and then head back in.”

Fanta Kunge was shocked by the hole beneath his feet, wondering what that was. The Gold Essence Warrior Power Training Scroll didn’t mention getting into this place.

“Your warrior power is the Gold Essence Warrior Power, which involves the mixing of the metal essence with your own warrior power.” Qian Jin pointed at the hole. “Theoretically speaking, it is unavoidable that the Gold Essence Warrior Power doesn’t take in pure gold essence from the very beginning because you don’t have access to the purest gold power via purified iron. So in this way, the metal essence you absorb will be mixed with impurities…”
