Commanding Wind and Cloud

Chapter 351

Chapter 351: Simmered with Rage

“I asked Qian Jin to come here for a fight. Now that you, the Snake Emperor has seen it, you can testify that I am letting Qian Jin go.” Qian Zhanxuan didn’t cast a glance Qian Jin, as it came to him that it made no sense wasting time on a good-for-nothing person who had exhausted his potential with some secret techniques and thus was exploited by others. However, he knew he couldn’t lose face in front of the Pam Family.

“Whether the Qian Family is the greatest of the current generation isn’t determined by us.” Qian Zhanxuan glanced at the standing crowd, “If Qian Jin or other young warriors have any oppositions, they can just challenge Qian Wushan. I have to make it clear that Qian Wushan is the strongest of the younger generation and the most promising candidate to be the number one amongst all human, demon, and barbarian warriors.”

Qian Zhanxuan was wearing an imperious look on his face. As a noble Elf -king Bloodline Warrior with overwhelming guts, Qian Zhanxuan was determined to crush Qian Jin, as the latter had unexpectedly won two consecutive fights.

“Brother Zhanxuan, that’s rather confident of you. However, you have underestimated the other warriors.” Pam Honzi chuckled. “Qian Wushan couldn’t be crowned as the number one warrior in the world before he defeats Pam Monshen. In the near future, a new young genius will rise up from our Hydra Bloodline Warrior Family. And by that time, Qian Wushan might only rank third…”

Qian Wushan released a nonchalant sneer from his lips, glanced over the Snake Emperor Pam Honzi loftily and said in a cold voice, “Pam Monshen? Respectable Snake Emperor, I bet he will also attend the Zence New Generation Warrior and Mage Competition? I don’t’ want to quibble with you at this moment because I will prove to you that I am the number one warrior in the Competition to come.”

Qian Zhanxuan slightly waved his hands and two members of the Qian Family came out and carried Qian Chenyu away. Qian Chenfeng looked at Qian Chenyu lying on the stretcher, thinking to himself that this idiot had received damage to his spirit. Even if he recovered, his overall strength would be reduced, which would make it difficult for him to make any further breakthroughs. Qian Jin was really a difficult opponent to deal with.

What a shame. Pam Honzi looked at the two Qian members, lamenting incessantly. He had intended to make use of Qian Chenyu’s sneak attack to ask the Qian Family to free Qian Cheng. But Qian Zhanxuan didn’t acknowledge Qian Chenyu’s mistake, so no opportunity was left for him to rescue Qian Cheng.

After this fierce fight, the battlefield was a total mess in which the previously flat ground had turned heavily rugged as if a middle-sized dispatch of men-at-arms had just galloped through, or a gang of mages had bombarded the location with an enchantment of Arcane Bolts.

The dust was still floating in the air. Qian Zhanxuan gazed at Pam Honzi coldly, regretting that this long-expected duel decided on two months ago turned out ended in total frustration due to the intervention of the Snake Emperor, and it made no sense continuing the fight. Who knew what kind of special devices Pam Honzi had equipped Duren Burg with?

Pam Honzi? Qian Zhanxuan made a cold snort. Though reluctant, he had to admit that the Snake Emperor was really an unexpected hand who seized his opponents by surprise. It made no use defeating the Hydra Bloodline Warrior by now since Pam Honzi was so calculating in damaged the fame of the Qian Family during this duel. However…

Qian Zhanxuan wore a crooked smile on his cold face upon thinking that it was undeniably hard for the Qian Family to continuing betting against Qian Jin given Pam Honzi’s shelter and Qian Chenyu’s bad performance. However, as Qian Jin had been hurt severely, his overall combat abilities would deteriorate even if he recovered. So long as I released the news that he was is in rough shape, hordes of people longing to make a name for themselves would go after him.

Few warriors in the world, including the bloodline warriors, could turn a blind eye to the lure of challenging and defeating Qian Jin because defeating him meant defeating the Elf-king Bloodline Warrior Family. What a nice stunt it was!

However, was defeating Qian Jin the same as defeating the Elf-king Bloodline Warrior Family? Qian Zhanxuan laughed in sheer pride. Qian Wushan would catch everybody in great shock in the New Generation Warrior and Mage Competition.

He, on behalf of the current generation of the Qian Family, would first defeat the Ares Bloodline Family, then the Tri-head Golden Dragon Bloodline Warriors and eventually the three ultimate bloodline warriors of the Demons, obtaining the medal of Number One Bloodline Warrior of the generation.

Qian Jin? An ant competing with the elephant? He could easily crush him to death at any time. So it made no sense to get on the wrong side of the Hydra Bloodline Family for this good-for-nothing ant.

He didn’t need to bother the timing of crushing this ant to death.

“Dear Snake Emperor, I am expectant of Pam Monshen’s performance in the New Generation Warrior and Mage Competition.” Qian Zhanxuan patted Qian Wushan on the shoulder with great confidence, “Come with me. Let me see how much you have grown during the past days. Oh, dear Snake Emperor, if you are hungry, our Qian Family’s door is held open at times. I have to leave now.”

While strutting past the doorway of the Qian Family, Qian Wushan suddenly turned around at Duren Burg and his fellows, and said, “I will be waiting for you at the peak. If you people could climb onto the peak, I will give you an opportunity to challenge me, for fear that you may feel unrepentant and ashamed for not having a chance to fight with the number one warrior in the future.”

“You are the number one? Shit.”

The same words, voiced with the same tone, came from Duren Burg, Fanta Kunge, Cech Flet and Lucifer Lucy at the same time.

As these four people made the same declaration at the same time, they were both caught bemused. Then they exchanged a look among each other, and said, “I am the future number one.”

“Pah.”

These four warriors of different identities and levels of power looked at each other with a heavily disobedient and contemptuous expression.

While Lucifer Lucy was wearing the largest defiance in her beautiful eye as if saying that I, as the future Demon Empress, will prove to be the strongest one.

Two thick wooden doors were closed, making a heavy dull sound. The earth seemed to be quivering slightly with the closure of the door.

A gust of magic wind roared from the flanks of the wooden door. It was a simple but effective noise canceling enchantment, as recognized by the mages standing by. As long as there weren’t dozens of huge war drums ringing around, it could function well.

Boom.

As the door of the Qian Family was closed and the magic power rose up in the air, a big stone-carved lion in the yard was smashed into piles of granules under the impact force of Qian Zhanxuan’s fist.

Most warriors standing in the yard held their breath while casting furtive looks at their family leader. It had been a long time since they saw him so angry.

Qian Wushan turned to look at Qian Chenfeng standing by his side, who was wearing a sullen and dreadful look and shook his head. As the leader of the “Chen” generation in the Qian Family, he was so weak. He who was really powerful wouldn’t cringe even if in the face of the family leader.

“Dear family leader,” Qian Wushan smiled: “is there any need to feel angry? He is still the poor Qian Jin, who happened to be living off Pam Honzi.”

Qian Zhanxuan’s face looked as black as the iron ore, as his shoulder was heaving up and down. It had been years since he felt as humiliated as he was today. He couldn’t forgive Qian Wutian for being defeated by Qian Jin. Young as Qian Wutian was, he possessed the potential of reaching the ultimate bloodline power awakening, however, he was lost to a long-recognized good-for-nothing scum of their family.

Pam Honzi might have used some secret means to escalated Qian Jin’s combat power, though at the price of shortening Qian Jin’s life, and though such power might disappear soon. Yet it wasn’t an excuse for Qian Wutian’s defeat in the face of the Hydra Bloodline Warrior Family.

In the past, he would directly kill such a wasted dog to vent his anger. But he wasn’t allowed to this time since the Snake Emperor Pam Honzi had stood out to cover for him.

Qian Zhanxuan’s breast was heaving fiercely. He couldn’t believe that as a Level 9 Demon Slayer, Qian Chengyu was defeated, let alone that he had attacked Qian Jin with a sneak attack. Shameful. If he could blow up his Kun-fighting Technique Seal in the Warrior-Heart, how could Qian Jin survive? Why couldn’t he smash the warrior power sequence of the Kun-fighting technique for the sake of the entire family? What a selfish stupid ass he proved, only thinking about his equally stupid son.

“Am I ever exasperated by the heavy casualties of the Qian Family members on the battlefield?” Qian Zhanxuan’s face turned even sullen. “Admittedly, all other families who have awakened their bloodline power aren’t impregnable, apart from those of ultimate awakening level. However, to lose to a useless dog such as Qian Jin…”

Qian Wushan chuckled. He knew that this proud family leader wouldn’t give a shit to Qian Jin. What made him angry was he himself, as his bold vow made two months ago ended up with such a big stigma, which wouldn’t be expelled with the killing of Qian Cheng.

“Dear family leader, Wutian’s defeat this time wouldn’t be a total failure.” Qian Wushan softly raised his chin. “Wutian enjoyed immense potential, however, he was too imperious. He had always longed to surpass me. When he recovers, I can have him me as my disciple, to show him how strong I am, letting him know his gap with me. I also hope that he could surpass me, which will add to our family’s power. It will prove good.”

The overcast look on Qian Zhanxuan’s face gradually died down. Looking to Qian Wushan, he softly nodded his head, whispering to himself that this was the true guts of the number one young warrior in the Qians.

“Qian Jin? He is nothing but an ant under the shelter of the Snake Emperor.” Qian Wushan flung his hands slightly. “Now that he has been hurt severely this time, his comprehensive strength will suffer a heavy loss even after recovery. By that time, we can just order a family member to kill him in the name of a friendly challenge. Well, what we need to pay heavy attention to is…”

“Is his Warrior-Heart.” Qian Zhanxuan’s fact turned sullen. “No one has ever been able to practice condensing the Warrior-Heart under the Demon Slayer level. It must be the special approach created by the Pam Family. Though it might be a transient approach which will disappear in a short time, it could work a lot for those who are confronted with a life-or-death battle.”

“That’s right.” Qian Wushan kept nodding his head with acknowledgment written on his face. “The Pam Family has been hunting for talents these years and now it seems that they have made great progress. The appalling part is the warrior soul, which is bound by levels just like the Warrior-Heart. If they have broken through such limitations and thus mastered the methods to condense a Warrior-Heart, perhaps they could also apply it to the warrior soul power.”

Qian Zhanxuan nodded softly. “It makes sense. Wushan, you can go for our in-house mystic pharmacist and rune artists to ask them to carry out research in this field. As for Qian Cheng? How dare he instigate his son to defy us? However, I won’t sentence him a death, instead, I will keep him alive, to see his beloved son be killed in front of his eyes. I will show the other members of the Qian Family that those who cannot awaken the bloodline power could only work as servants to the family. It makes no use leaving here.”
