Chapter 411

Chapter 411: The Essence of a Powerful Warrior

Marc Gavin patted Qian Jin on the shoulder. “It will be easier than you imagine. Sometimes the lives mean nothing at all. Go to sleep. I will help you monitor him. Find me here when you come up with some ideas.”

Qian Jin nodded his head and exited Marc Gavin’s room. Looking up to the sky, he thought to himself that maybe this decision of his would set the entire into a morass. However, if he didn’t do so, what would the Ray Family do to him?

Gomez Jane and the other women had already gone to sleep. Qian Jin came back to his own room relaxed, covered the mage hat over his head, and fell asleep immediately.

The small village in the endless world seemed to forever be in silence. Everyone was engaged in their own business, distracted by no other things at all.

Standing on the tranquil street, Qian Jin felt heavily relieved. He then lifted his hand to feel his forehead and started walking toward Uncle Blake’s yard, wondering whether he should go to the Enlak’s Warrior Energy House to have another challenge and ask Mr. Enlak if there were any devices to open someone else’s warrior dimension.

“You boy, come here.” Eulalia waved her hands at Qian Jin in the yard. “Try the new potion I concocted.”

Qian Jin shivered as the new potion tried out by Eulalia was more than appalling. Only God knew what kind of strange potion this mystic pharmacist had made.

The crimson-colored liquid was rolling up and down in the test tube like lava, with the accompaniment of a pungent smell which caused a severe headache to the people who approached it.

Qian Jin grimaced at the mystic potion in his hand and looked to Eulalia with great curiosity, hoping to know what this potion he was forced to try was.

“This is Super-speed Body Recovery Potion.” Eulalia peeped at the Adam’s Pharmacy across from her potion house. “Which is a million times stronger than the shoddy pharmacy!”

Qian Jin swallowed and wondered why on earth Eulalia enjoyed competing with Adams so much. What was more surprising to him was that as an expert in dismantling body organs, she had now concocted some recovery-type mystic potion. Could this potion work?

A light as sharp as the blade flashed out from Eulalia’s eyes! Qian Jin uttered a sigh. “Professor Eulalia, I’m now in good health, without any pains or injuries. So I think this mystic potion…”

“It is because of your staying in normal conditions that I urge you to take it.” Eulalia waved her hands impatiently, looking as if she would forcefully pour the potion into Qian Jin’s mouth should he hesitate one second more.

“Okay. I will drink it.” Qian Jin sighed again. “It seems I have to withstand this medicinal efficacy before going to the Enlak’s.”

Hot and spicy potion slid through Qian Jin’s throat. He wondered whether he would turn dumb ever since.

Pain? For the first time in life, Qian Jin felt no pain from a mystic potion concocted by Eulalia.

But for the following few seconds, Qian Jin started to miss the pains brought about by the Volcano Potion series. It was not until this moment did he understand that there was a worse feeling than pain…paralysis!

Yes! During the subsequent few seconds, feelings of paralysis spread from his tongue to his legs, the arms and all other parts of the body. Ever since Qian Jin became a Demon Capturer, he hadn’t suffered any paralysis, either local or general. The last memory about this level of numbness came from squatting long in the toilet of Oakland Mage and Warrior Academy.

Long-lost paralyzed feelings! Qian Jin felt it devastatingly painful and wondered whether there was something wrong with this mystic potion. On what grounds could this be called useful for body recovery?

After a short span of paralysis, Qian Jin began to be enveloped in a new feeling of sourness. Such sourness resembled being forced to continue running when one was already feeling biting on his legs after a long-distance run.

Every inch of his cells was being changed at a high speed! Eulalia nodded her head slightly with a smile and started walking toward the room. “This potion has proven successful. As long as you insist on taking it for long, the body-recovery abilities of your will become unimaginably strong. In a short sleep, or even several blinks of the eye might work in the case of heavy injuries. This will work much better than the so-called Forbidden Spells and the Recovery Potion.”

Apply for a long time? Take a nap? Blink the eyes? Qian Jin tried to roll his paralyzed eyeballs with pains at the back of Eulalia. What a mystic pharmacist she was! How on earth could she be thinking that way?

“One has to depend on himself.” Eulalia was playing with her experiment equipment. “No recovery potion would actually work when you are fighting with the enemies. Will you be spared any time to take the potion?”

Qian Jin flashed a light of surprise from his frozen eyes. Though wearing a lunatic’s appearance most of the time, this mystic pharmacist would sometimes carelessly spill the truth. One only had himself to depend on in this world. The enemies on the battlefield wouldn’t allow time for the other side to take medicine to recover.

“Try to relax your limbs when you are feeling paralyzed.” Eulalia said without raising her head. “The greater you move your limbs, the stronger the body-recovery effects there will be.”

To move his body parts? Qian Jin felt like bursting out in laughter, just to find that his facial muscles had been stationed in a full state of paralysis where no expressions could be found. To have his eyeballs move slightly had already been painful. For the time being, he couldn’t even control his pinky fingers. Though feeling heavily agonized due to the paralysis, he could do nothing with his body parts.

What did this paralysis have anything to do with body-recovery abilities? Qian Jin couldn’t figure it out. However, Eulalia, the mystic pharmacist must have some reason for saying so.

Warrior power… the warrior power also seemed to have been frozen at this moment. Even the warrior heart seemed to be in a state of paralysis.

Forge Breathing Technique! Qian Jin was totally bemused. The Heart of Earthy Fire, the Forge Breathing Technique which had brought him numerous marvels in the past, was also paralyzed by the mystic potion!

“Stop depending on your warrior power. Try moving your body.” Eulalia continued her peculiar experiments. “The warrior power is just a by-product of your body, while your body is the source of everything. Where on earth does your warrior power come from without the support of your body? Haven’t you realized what the true source of power is, after such a long time being trained by us? What an idiot.”

An idiot? Qian Jin started to enjoy this feeling paralysis somewhat, which stopped him from feeling ashamed by suffering the scolding of his teachers.

An idiot! Qian Jin rolled his eyes with great pains. The endless world was very much different from the Zence Empire, where every achievement of his would win the acclaim of Uncle Marc Gavin. While in the endless world, every “grand” deed of his was received with the comment of “idiot”.

“Concentrate on your nerves to control your body.” Eulalia added some strange-looking medicine into the test tubes. “The mystic potion wouldn’t really activate your body’s potential. It would only provide you an opportunity to explore your body. The right to fully bring out your physical potential rests with yourself.”

Control the body…Qian Jin closed his eyes and stopped thinking about the idiot comment. He was now using all his consciousness to feel the actual conditions of every inch of his flesh and veins. Only by having a full understanding of them could he try having control over them.

Eulalia eventually replaced her impatient look with a light smile. She nodded her head, indicating that this apprentice of hers wasn’t totally beyond redemption.

Was the body the true source of everything? Qian Jin hadn’t ever meditated on this question. All historical records in Zence Empire emphasized the warrior power and the fighting techniques to be possessed by warriors. Some even exclusively focused on the activation of bloodline power.

When the bloodline power reached the summit, one would be required to cultivate the Supreme-level warrior power and the use of Supreme-level fighting techniques. As for the body…

Since every warrior was bestowed with a strong physique and a reciprocal effect of warrior power on the body energies, none of them would pursue the honing of their body’s strength. It would be enough to have a high-explosive force of the warrior power infuse it with distinctive characteristics.

As long as the warrior power got strong enough, the body would naturally be honed thereof. Therefore, the bloodline warriors invariably shared the strongest physique.

Fingers…to move the fingers… Qian Jin found that he was able to move his ears slightly, yet no changes occurred on his fingers. He felt like he had a seal placed on his fingers, just as what the traveling poets had conceived.

One minute… ten minutes… half an hour…

Under such a tormenting situation, Qian Jin had to summon his nerves to control the movement of his body. It appeared a hundred times harder than taking the Volcano Potion in the past.

After the elapsing of one hour, Qian Jin’s body returned normal again, where both his hands and feet could be controlled to move by himself. But for the time in between, no progress seemed to be on the way, and the only body part he could move was the ears.

“Remember that feeling, and try simulating that physical state when you have time. To have you yourself get into that state is also a good training.” Eulalia shook her head with a serious look. “But I’m afraid you’re an idiot and won’t be able to do that.”

Qian Jin grited his teeth and forced a long-lost bitter smile. Then he made a bow and walked toward the door.

“By the way.” Eulalia lifted her eyebrows, and asked casually, “you mentioned you were going to the Enlak’s? Do you look down upon the great mystic potion? Why do you go for the stupid Enlak, instead of me?”

Enlak was a good-for-nothing fool? Qian Jin scratched the back of his head and looked at Eulalia with a bitter look. Maybe the only one who wasn’t deemed as a good-for-nothing person in Eulalia’s viewpoint was Uncle Blake.

“I am going to ask professor Enlak about the warrior dimension.” Qian Jin made a sigh and looked at Eulalia blankly. He wasn’t quite sure of the level of Enlak, but he guessed that he should be at least a saint-leveled warrior. So in this way, he might know something about the warrior dimension.

“The warrior dimension?” Eulalia laid down the test tubes, and crossed her arms over her chest, by doing which her plump bosom cloaked by the loose experiment robe started to take on a sexy shape. With a curious look, she asked smilingly, “Isn’t the warrior dimension a product of the blending of warrior fruit and the warrior power? In fact, the warrior fruit is just another kind of medicinal ingredient in a mystic potion. You can ask me if you have any doubts. The stupid Enlak might be good at fighting, but in other aspects…”

Eulalia placed her hand on her cherry lips, raised her fair neck and made a string of quick, rhythmic and eerie laugh, “Eu…hehe hehe…tell me what’s wrong with your warrior dimension.”
