Commanding Wind and Cloud

Chapter 463

Chapter 463: Departure!

The crowd surrounding Rayen all nodded. They were members of the Ray Family. All that the young master did was fall in love with that Rosella. It was her luck. How dare Qian Jin mess it up and kill Ray Yue? They couldn’t let it go easily.

“Anywhere we go, we’ll come back!” Rayen looked at the direction of Yulee with hate and anger.

“The Ray Family will be back eventually.” Qian Jin looked at the sky and said, “The only thing we can do for now is to improve our abilities and expand our power.”

Zachery examined Qian Jin with his eyes. This young man was a completely different person compared to the first time they met. He had matured.

“See you, Uncle.” Qian Jin then left.

“I’m beginning to understand why the president was so determined to give him his position.” Zachery said to himself.

Qian Jin went all the way to the academy and knocked on the principal’s door.

“Come in.”

Isabella was sitting on a swivel chair, looking at Qian Jin with a smile. She was surprised to see Qian Jin wearing a cloak.

“Is this outfit for a masquerade?” Tence Matten was sitting on a couch, enjoying a cup of tea. “I’ve heard that you are the President of the Blacksmith Union now, Congratulations! We should come together and celebrate sometime.”

Only a few people knew about that in the entire Yulee. How did Tence Matten know?

Isabella knocked on the table. “Please don’t take attention away from the principal,” she said.

Tence Matten smiled and drank his tea.

Qian Jin looked at Tence Matten again. Not many students could be so relaxed in front of the principal. He wondered where Tence Matten was from.

“Principal, I’m here for a leave”, Qian Jin bowed.

“Pardon me?”

“I need to ask your permission for a leave.”

“A leave?” She had never seen such a student who had more absent days than school days in her life.

“You were to visit your father last time. What about this time?” Isabella tried to be patient. She would have expelled Qian Jin from the academy if she didn’t know that he was the nephew of Jun Wduo, the President of the Blacksmith Union, that he was going to be the future President of the Torrent Battle Fort, and was worrying about the main powers in Yulee, that he almost ended the Ray Family.

Even the son of the mayor would need to be punished with this level of absent, but the thing was that Qian Jin’s status was now on par with the mayor.

“My friends are in danger”.

“Qian Jin, you should know that this is the Punitive Expedition Academy. I would approve your request if your only goal was to become a warrior that kills with blades. But I believe that you have much bigger goals than that.”

Qian Jin nodded. He was surprised that the principal knew so much about him.

“Without enough time spent in the academy, you can’t learn about commanding of war, nor learn from your classmates. You can’t build relationships with your classmates and you’ll lose the connection after graduation.”

She had never seen such an excellent ordinary warrior. With so many absences, it definitely affects his personal growth and future development.

Unless Qian Jin can stay in the Torrent Battle Fort all the time and collect energy cores with the help of the four-power alliance, the academy was the best place for him to collect the most amount of energy cores and at the same time, learn more fighting techniques.

Isabella had even decided that she was going to take Qian Jin to the instructors designing fighting techniques and see if they could customize him an optimum fighting technique suitable just for him.

Even the four-power alliance in Yulee was unable to achieve that.

Even the Bloodline Families admitted that the academies had the best fighting technique research.

“Qian Jin, you don’t have much time.” Isabella said: “You don’t have much time to waste. If you stay in the academy, I can get you a set of techniques that are tailored to you.

Weed who was standing outside the door was worried that Qian Jin would comply in exchange for such attractive conditions.

“Principal”, Qian Jin bowed again. “I would like to thank you for your consideration. But my friend had saved my life.”

Isabella decided to give up on her attempts at persuasion. She would look down on Qian Jin if he chose her offer over the friend who had saved his life. But leaving for that friend meant a waste of studying time. What a dilemma.

Tence Matten glanced at Weed who was standing outside the door. “Where are you going, Qian Jin? Your friend looks like a gang member.”

Qian Jin was familiar with Tence Matten’s vision, and he wasn’t surprised by it.

“Frontier.”

Tence Matten was surprised to hear the answer. “I’ve heard that it is not safe there.”

Isabella frowned at Qian Jin. Didn’t this young man love trouble and danger. Last time he went to the Ancient Desert Sea in Qian Region and magically survived. Now he’s heading toward the chaos in the Frontier. Was he going to join the Human-Demon Battlefront if there’s a war?

Isabella knew that she was not able to stop him, so she said, “Try to come back earlier. You’ll have to take makeup exams if you missed the time and retake the course if you don’t pass.”

Qian Jin bowed again gratefully as he understood that was the best Isabella could do for him.

Tence Matten looked at Isabella as he murmured: “Frontier…”

“Do you want a permission for leave as well?” Isabella asked with certainty. “To visit the Frontier? Bring your gorilla-like guard and get out!”

“Thanks a lot, Principal.” Tence Matten bowed. “There are no more good retinues in the academy anyway. I’ll be back for the exam.”

Isabella smiled resignedly. As the sixth prince of Zence, Matten had a very systematic education. The purpose of him attending academies was to experience life and reflect on how to be an Emperor.

The theory examinations here were just a piece of cake for Tence Matten. He could’ve done well at the age of 10.

The royal family had informed more than once that the academy should not intervene or offer help to him during his experiences, even if he encountered danger that would lead to death. It would be his own responsibility to endure the consequences of his wrong judgments.

If he died! It would mean that it wasn’t in his fate to be the emperor.

This mechanism was to train a prince for preparation of taking over the empire.

“Yet I will still have to prepare a bit for him.” Isabella murmured as he walked to the door. “I’ve heard that the third prince and the sixth prince are the best among the princes. But any accident could happen in the Frontier as the Demons, Humans, and Barbarians all play a part. There’s no such thing as the right prediction there.”

Isabella flew over her office table and walked fast toward the lush ancient tree in the academy.

“Wake up or I’ll pull out my sword.” Isabella stood on a thick branch and said to Linguan Honzhe who was sleeping on the tree.
