Banishment Hex.
It was a hex that Evelynn knew very well she wouldn’t be able to use in the True Immortal World since it required the power of the Asura Dimension. According to Hexena Xylusc, it sends demons to prison. As for what kind of prison, Evelynn couldn’t tell.
But in essence, she came to the conclusion that it was impossible to use the Banishment Hex to send someone into the so-called prison of the Asura Dimension.
But at this moment, her third eye explosively glowed with a yellow-crimson light, unwittingly.
Simultaneously, she saw the image of a huge arachnid through her six-pointed star third pupil that carried the six hexes.
This arachnid had a body that possessed a purplish-obsidian carapace with flecks of crimson and shimmering silver hues running across its exoskeleton, flickering as obscure runes. Its eight legs appeared crystalline at the edges but also sharper with the scythe-like talons at the end.
It possessed an armored head with two primary eyes burning with a scarlet glow, while its third eye, the hex eye, revealed itself with a three-pointed triangle, possessing three kinds of hexes.
Beneath its eyes, the venomous fangs have elongated. Its jagged teeth also sharpened to perfection, gleaming with a metallic sheen.
It was one evil-looking spider, which Evelynn recognized as none other than the Evilbane Hexweaver Arachnid.
However, it was manipulating her.
It was forcing the hex in her eyes to activate as the Banishment Hex and Collapse Hex came together and fused, unleashing itself on the world.
At that moment, she saw with her own eyes as the rift to the Asura Dimension opened above her, and various creatures jumped out immediately.
“Evelynn!”
Illumina transformed into her human form before she grabbed Evelynn and fled to the other side instead of the Galaxy Wormhole. However, she didn’t go too far and came to a stop as she looked at the scene behind her with a giant scythe talon of an arachnid blocking the attack of Realm Master Felza Nyssadra.
It made her jump, wondering what kind of monstrosity came out of Evelynn’s eyes.
She shot a look at the lifeforms pouring out and saw hideous blood-red creatures jump out of the crimson rift and rush straight toward the enemy camp, their barbed tongues hanging out as they cackled in joy.
There were a lot of creatures that her inherited memories deemed demons.
Asura Demons.
They possessed towering forms covered in hardened crimson scales that resembled dried blood. However, they were different from each other. Some of their arms ended in sharp claws, elongated talons, butchered hooks, or many other slaughtering-shaped weapons, capable of peeling flesh.
Then there were Winged Asura Demons with their squirming dark crimson flesh wings with bone plates across their shoulders, ribs, and knees. Their massive wings were lined at the edge with razor-sharp protrusions. Their fingers resembled hooked blades while their tails ended in spear-like bone spikes.
There was also a creature seemingly from the nightmares, as it possessed no torso, abdomen, or neck since its entire body was just a gigantic head. It had four legs and two arms for horns that looked like they would capture prey and throw them into its wide, terrifying mouth filled with razor-sharp teeth.
It was called the Asura Bloodmaw.
She barely imagined it before she saw one of those Asura Bloodmaws grab an Empyrean Beast Ox with its huge hands filled with elongated claws and throw it into its mouth. With a bit, blood splashed from its mouth like it had spat blood instead.
Illumina couldn’t tell where all that blood was going when it had no abdomen. She only knew the names and characteristics of these monsters as her inherited memories resurfaced.
Apart from these bipedal monstrosities, there were also the Asura Bloodhounds and Asura Bloodbats. There were many more that she couldn’t recognize. As for the Asura Beasts, she saw thousands of Evilbane Hexweaver Arachnids pour out, but they didn’t mix with others.
They formed a line in two at both ends as they kept the other creatures in check.
She watched these bloodthirsty beings pour out in visible shock before she retreated a bit more, confused as to whether the plan was still in motion or not.
After all, each and every one of these creatures was at the Empyrean Stage, and even Exalt Stage monstrosities were jumping out, their numbers increasing by the second.
“What’s going on? Are we still continuing with the plan?”
Illumina turned to look at Evelynn and asked as she hid in the shadows again.
Evelynn held her forehead. Blood poured out of her third eye, dripping down her face.
However, her face remained calm despite the pain she felt in her soul.
She also vaguely recognized the beings pouring out of the rift and confirmed that they were basically from the Asura Dimension. Only these hideous and bloodthirsty beings that craved slaughter fit the descriptions.
Besides, she understood what had happened just now.
The moment that Evilbane Hexweaver Arachnid intruded into her mind, she also managed to glimpse into its mind.
This… was an attempt to get into this world through a prison breakout!
The Banishment Hex was meant to be used to send prisoners to the prison, some kind of mini-realm, or a world within the Asura Dimension. The Banishment Hex could be said to be one of the gateways to the prison world. However, the usage of Collapse Hex in tandem caused this gate to collapse and, in turn, cause a rift to appear in the True Immortal World, causing a prison breakout to happen.
The only doubt was that she still didn’t know how she managed to break something in the Asura Dimension from the True Immortal World.
She could only guess that this place wasn’t far off from opening a crack to the Asura Dimension naturally. That Evilbane Hexweaver Arachnid she saw had basically used her to descend quickly.
She informed Davis and Illumina of her theory, causing them to go silent before Davis responded.
“Is that arachnid our ally?”
“No, I can feel that it was furious at me since I didn’t respond to its karmic summoning. It might kill me if I remain here. Moreover, it’s indeed at the Realm Beast Stage. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have been able to force my third eye to activate from another dimension.”
“Wha- How is a Grand Saint Beast capable of becoming a Realm Beast?” Illumina asked.
“I’m not sure… it probably has something to do with the Laws governing the Asura Dimension. However, even though it’s at the Realm Beast Stage, I doubt it could descend with its true body.”
“It’s something known as Bloodcrystal Heart. The memories from City Lord Kain Waterland denoted that these Bloodcrystal Hearts were something the beings of the Asura Dimension possess. The more they slaughter and absorb blood from different types of lifeforms, the stronger they grow. Hmm, it could be said that these Asura monsters literally cultivate through slaughter and absorbing blood into their Bloodcrystal Heart. This makes sense from what we learned from researching a bit about the Asura Dimension- that it exists to stop lifeforms of the True Immortal World from growing stronger and maintaining balance through slaughter.”
Evelynn and Illumina’s gaze flickered. There was such a thing inside the Asura Dimension’s monsters?
Does this mean that even lower rank beasts can grow endlessly without having to raise their bloodline ranks?
