Cao Shanshan made the first move to hug him. Ling Yun could not simply resist her. He stretched his right arm out, allowing Cao Shanshan fall into his embrace. He placed his hands on her slim waist, as their bodies came together.

Cao Shanshan’s silky low-cut dress was thin and smooth. Ling Yun caressed it, it was as if he was touching her delicate skin.

His touch was firm yet soft, delicate yet hot!

Cao Shanshan voluptuous body was heating up, and it was emitting through the thin silk dress, which was accompanied by her faint body scent.

With Ling Yun’s touch, a strong electric current had hit her. She could not help but tremble. Her beautiful face had turned flush. The feeling of happiness had rushed to her wave after wave, making her dizzy. She started breathing heavily.

At this moment, both of them did not have to say a word. Cao Shanshan naturally leaned her head on Ling Yun’s broad shoulders, quietly enjoying the tough-earned happiness.

Looking from behind at Ling Yun’s strong build and Cao Shanshan’s slender body sticking close together as they walked, stepping gradually into the night. The image was simply too romantic.

The night wind blew gently. Cao Shanshan’s floral dress skirt fluttered. And as the wind continued to blow, the skirt stuck to her skin, highlighting her slender legs, a little mysterious and seductive.

“Wearing this long floral dress today didn’t seem that bad after all…” Cao Shanshan thought happily to herself, but her face was getting redder and hotter.

Cao Shanshan’s body was twitching. At first, it was because of her nervousness that made her a little stiff, but now, Ling Yun was merely embracing her, nothing more. She eventually calmed herself down, becoming quiet and peaceful.

“So being hugged by the man you love, is such a magical feeling. There isn’t anything better than this…” Cao Shanshan hoped that this path that she chose to take would never ever end.

Ling Yun’s embrace brought her a sense of warmth and security she had never had before. This feeling was different from excitement, which allowed her to experienced the taste of being cared for.

After walking about a hundred metres quietly, Ling Yun opened his mouth, his clear voice breaking the silence. “Where do you live?”

Cao Shanshan was shocked. Does he want to send me home that early? He’s such a fool, a big fool!

But she still complied, “Qingxi Villa District Street 3. When I was in my first year of high school, I went to Qingshui City to study. I lived there ever since.”

Ling Yun was overjoyed upon hearing this. “Seems like we’ll be neighbours from now on. I live on Qingxi Villa District Street 4.”

“Wah?!” Cao Shanshan was stunned!

Qingxi Villa District Street 4? That’s one of Qingxi Villa District’s newest and most posh villa! When did Ling Yun stay there?”

“Since, since when did you live in Street 4?” Cao Shanshan was astonished.

“I haven’t moved in yet. The villa was just bought yesterday, and didn’t even have the time to buy furniture…” Ling Yun replied.

“My God? Just bought yesterday? There was no villa there which was under 20 million dollars. You, where did you get so much money from?” Cao Shanshan tried to keep up with what he was saying.

Ling Yun noticed that she was in a state of shock. He laughed splendidly, he stood firmly and replied to her. “Hmm, you’re not the only one who has the money to stay in a villa. I can do that too.”

As for where and how he had so much money, he definitely could not tell Cao Shanshan about it.

Cao Shanshan looked at Ling Yun, turning a little embarrassed. She lowered her head. “No one said you can’t. I’m just happy for you…”

Ling Yun laughed, “Are you in a rush to go home?”

She replied without a single hesitation. “Not at all!” She was afraid she wasn’t clear enough. She continued. “Isn’t tomorrow a holiday? I can go back late!”

“Come let’s go, let’s sit around for a while!” Ling Yun’s left hand moved up from her waist and onto her shoulder. They ran straight to two parallel bars on the inside of the runway.

Ling Yun gently patted the two cold bars and laughed. “Can you climb up?”

Cao Shanshan was nothing less of a warrior, and climbing on top of the bars was nothing big deal. But being together with Ling Yun, she could not just agree easily. She shyly responded. “I’m wearing my dress…”

Ling Yun chuckled as he stretched out both his hands, easily flying on top of the two bars while hugging her. He placed her beside him.

Cao Shanshan suddenly felt both her feet were off the ground. She scrambled to keep balance. She leaned back slightly, her hands holding onto a pole behind her. She rolled her eyes at Ling Yun, “You’re so bad! Didn’t even ask for my permission first…”

Ling Yun chuckled, then he screamed towards Cao Shanshan, “Cao Shanshan! Thank you so much!!”

Cao Shanshan was speechless over what Ling Yun had done. She was startled. “Thank me? Thank me for what?”

Ling Yun replied, “The people from Green Dragon give me trouble every day. You’re the first person to rush over from upstairs, and gave me tuition these 2 days. Of course I should thank you.”

Truth be told, what made Ling Yun change his impression of Cao Shanshan was when he was giving Li Qingchuan an injection, they got surrounded by people from Green Dragon, but Cao Shanshan rushed over to rescue them.

At that point in time, Cao Shanshan did not even know of Ling Yun’s fighting abilities. All she knew was that when she saw Green Dragon’s men appear, she did not hesitate one bit to help. This scene was deeply engraved into Ling Yun’s memory.

Upon hearing, Cao Shanshan looked distracted, staring into blank space. She was even more stunned than hearing that Ling Yun had bought a villa in Qingxi Villa District.

But she had yet seen the attentive side of him, and the caring and warmth side of him.

“Ling Yun, I can’t figure you out now…” Cao Shanshan sighed, she was a little hurt.

“Hehe,” Ling Yun laughed. “It’s better to not figure me out completely. If you do, you probably wouldn’t like me!”

“Hmph, who said I like you…” Ling Yun pulled off a strong stance and Cao Shanshan felt that she was now on level terms with him for the very first time.

“Oh, so you don’t like me? That’s better, I don’t have to worry so much now…” Ling Yun pretended to heave a sigh of relief.

Cao Shanshan was so annoyed with him that she rolled her eyes, “All you do is bully me. I’ve been bullied to death these days!”

Ling Yun chuckled. He looked up upon the sky full of stars. “Serves you right…”

After the two of them had fun making fun of each other, Cao Shanshan said in a stern tone. “Ling Yun! You’re such an amazing person!”

“What do you mean..?” He replied ignorantly.

Cao Shanshan unquestionably nodded her head, “Don’t you belong with that group of people?”

“Those people? Who are you referring to?” Ling Yun was still confused over what she meant.

Cao Shanshan saw how dumbfounded he became. “Those people! Those people who train. Who’s your master? Doesn’t he tell you about such stuff?”

Cao Shanshan’s family is one of the seven biggest families in the capital. It would not be unexpected that her family would have some form of cultured teachings.

Otherwise, she would not have been so confident to come to the conclusion that Ling Yun broke his own personal best when she witnessed Ling Yun carrying sandbags running 11 rounds.

Cao Shanshan believed him, as it was difficult to understand and reason with such people. They would usually disappear after they have done their job, and thus she did not think much into it. She nodded, “Your master is so irresponsible. I’ve seen other such people too because there are some in my family…”

“What?!” It was now Ling Yun’s turn to be shocked!
