Fairy Tail Collapsing Stars Chapter 297
Fairy Tail Collapsing Stars Chapter 297
“Ugh, Master, the air here is really foul! It makes me want to vomit!”
“This villa needs a thorough cleaning!”
“After all, too much trash came in today, and it’s starting to stink!”
While the guild masters were discussing filing a complaint against Fairy Tail with the Magic Council, Ichiya from Blue Pegasus wrinkled his brow and looked disgusted at the other guild masters gathered in the hall.
“What do you mean by that?!”
“Bob, control your mage! This is too much!”
Several sensitive guild masters turned angrily toward Bob, shouting their displeasure.
“Oh, I’m terribly sorry, everyone~”
“But Ichiya is always straightforward and speaks his mind~”
“However, he hasn’t said anything wrong~”
Bob responded with a cheerful smile, despite the accusations.
“Damn it, Bob, what do you mean by that?!”
The guild masters’ faces darkened as they glared at Bob.
“I mean, you all are disgusting and revolting!”
Bob’s smile disappeared, replaced by a stern expression and a hint of killing intent in his eyes.
“Ugh…”
The guild masters took a step back, alarmed by Bob’s sudden change in demeanor.
“Hey, you lot, enough!”
“I know what you’re thinking. Do you want me to expose your petty schemes here? It’s really not cool!”
“Master, if you keep inviting these people to gatherings, count me out next time. Seriously…”
At that moment, Bacchus, the ace of Quatro Cerberus, voiced his displeasure, glancing disdainfully at the guild masters while complaining to his own master, Goldmine.
“Goldmine, is this what you think too?”
The guild masters turned to Goldmine, demanding an explanation.
“Haha, I think Bacchus has made it quite clear…”
“Your actions are far from cool. Jose was the one who provoked Fairy Tail, insulted you all, and now you want to target Fairy Tail? It’s hard to watch…”
Goldmine chuckled. The old cowboy was fed up with the guild masters’ underhanded tactics. How could such behavior foster excellent wizard guilds? It was even worse than Jose Porla’s Phantom Lord.
“Damn it, Goldmine…”
The guild masters now viewed Fairy Tail, Blue Pegasus, and Quatro Cerberus as adversaries.
“Jura, let’s go!”
“I can’t believe I wasted so much time with these idiots. I’m not coming to next year’s gathering…”
Ooba, the hot-tempered master of Lamia Scale, headed straight for the door, tired of the weak and cowardly guild masters.
A true mage faces stronger opponents without fear and strives to defeat them.
“Wait for me, Ooba!”
Jura, watching his guild master walk away, could only sigh. He admired Ooba’s upright and uncompromising nature, which was why he was so loyal to Lamia Scale.
Before leaving, Jura turned to the gathered guild masters and said, “Gentlemen, I apologize on behalf of Master Ooba. She has urgent matters to attend to, so we’ll be leaving now…”
“No problem, we understand…”
The guild masters forced smiles, not daring to offend Jura.
“By the way, I haven’t responded to your invitations to join your guilds…”
“I find your actions disgusting and unacceptable. Goodbye, and take care…”
Jura clasped his hands together in a formal gesture, his face serious as he rejected the invitations.
“Damn you, Jura…”
The guild masters were furious, their bodies trembling angrily at Jura’s blunt rejection.
“Phew! That felt good…”
Jura felt a surge of satisfaction and clarity, his magic flowing more freely. Magic reflects one’s inner state, and Jura felt liberated.
The enraged shouts from the guild masters behind him didn’t concern him at all.
“Master, shall we go too?”
“I can’t stay in the same space as these uncool people. It’s suffocating…”
Bacchus shoved his hands into his pockets and glared at the guild masters, baffled why such weak and uncool guilds even existed.
“What can I say? Gentlemen, we’ll take our leave…”
Goldmine nodded politely to the other guild masters and followed Bacchus out the door.
A few minutes later…
“Ah, the fresh air outside is so much better!”
Jura clasped his hands together, feeling refreshed. He was thrilled to have seen several Ten Wizard Saints and to have witnessed unparalleled power. Even Jura couldn’t fathom the level Evan, who defeated Deliora at a young age, had reached now.
Jura knew one thing: having seen such heights, he would strive to climb higher and see even further vistas.
“The air outside is indeed more invigorating!”
As Jura spoke to himself, Bacchus’s rough voice echoed beside him.
Bacchus had joined Jura, standing by his side.
“Indeed, the air is fragrant~”
“Simply perfect, men~”
Behind Jura and Bacchus stood Ichiya, who, despite his appearance, considered himself a handsome man.
“You guys…”
Jura turned to Bacchus and Ichiya, a bit surprised.
“The atmosphere inside wasn’t wild enough. I couldn’t stay…”
Bacchus took a swig from his flask, enjoying the drink.
“Absolutely, men~”
Ichiya spun in place, striking a dramatic pose.
“Heh, I didn’t expect to find kindred spirits here…”
Jura smiled, resisting the urge to question Ichiya’s antics out of politeness.
“By the way, Jura, what are you doing just standing here?”
Bacchus scratched his cheek, puzzled by Jura’s stillness since they exited the villa.
“I’m just feeling…”
Jura smiled at Bacchus.
“Feeling?”
Bacchus looked confused.
“Look at that mountain over there…”
Jura pointed to a distant peak.
“That is…”
Bacchus and Ichiya followed his gaze, their eyes widening.
The mountain was encased in massive ice walls, with giant boulders frozen inside.
“After Mr. Evan used True Celestial Magic: Star Destruction, the meteor shattered the peak, causing rocks to fall. Ms. Ul froze them to prevent disaster…”
“Now I understand. The earlier tremor must have been caused by the meteor. It’s laughable that I thought I prevented a disaster. Ms. Ul was the real savior…”
“But even without her intervention, I believe Mr. Evan or Master Makarov would have handled it…”
Jura clasped his hands together, mentally replaying the events and feeling awed. Ul had stopped a natural disaster, while Evan was the disaster itself. This was the power of the Ten Wizard Saints—disasters in their own right.
Jura felt grateful to Evan and Ul for showing him higher levels of magic, and giving him new goals to strive for.
“Wild, incredibly wild!”
Bacchus laughed, staring at the ice-covered peak. He had just passed his guild’s S-Class trial and realized the world was vast, with more to achieve.
“I must capture this beautiful fragrance~”
“My mind is brimming with ideas for new scents! Men!!”
Ichiya, inspired as a perfumer, had countless new ideas for his creations.
“These kids finally see a broader world…”
“We have Makarov, that old bastard, to thank for this!”
Goldmine watched the excited Jura, Bacchus, and Ichiya and muttered.
Despite disliking the guild masters’ underhanded tactics, he was still angry at Makarov for bringing two Ten Wizard Saints to a gathering meant for young mages.
“Next year, we’ll make Makarov pay…”
“Let’s just have a gathering with our guilds and leave those idiots out!”
Ooba declared, planning next year’s gathering without the weaker guilds. Magic requires a strong heart, and those without it won’t achieve much in the magical path.
“Agreed~”
Bob’s voice chimed in behind her.
“Hmm?!”
“Isn’t that your villa? Are you sure it’s okay to leave?”
Goldmine asked, seeing Bob had also exited.
“It’s fine~”
“I have plenty of villas~”
Bob smiled, unconcerned. Blue Pegasus was wealthy enough to build flying fortresses, so losing a villa was nothing.
As for Fairy Tail monopolizing missions, it didn’t concern Blue Pegasus. Their primary business was host clubs, with the mage guild as a side venture. Besides, Fairy Tail members often avoided missions, preferring to enjoy themselves, leaving enough work for other guilds.
“Damn rich guy…”
Goldmine cursed, trembling with anger.
“Hahaha…”
Bob laughed softly in response.
Meanwhile…
In Bob’s villa, the mages of Blue Pegasus removed all the food, unwilling to share with “trash.”
“Damn you, Bob!”
“And Ooba, and Goldmine too!”
“Tomorrow we’ll go to the Magic Council and report them all!”
“We must bring down Fairy Tail, Blue Pegasus, Lamia Scale, and Quatro Cerberus!!”
The guild masters, faces dark with anger, vowed revenge. Their jealousy drove them to target every guild that had wronged them.
Unbeknownst to them, the Magic Council they revered was already under the influence of others…
