Chapter 2630 - 2630 World Emperor Grade!
Chapter 2630 - 2630 World Emperor Grade!
2630 World Emperor Grade!
Recently, Lin Yuan had been doing all he could to collect spirit qi crystals. Morbius had also absorbed its World Grace during its evolution to Myth Breed. As a result, Lin Yuan possessed an astonishing store of spirit qi crystals.
Since Lin Yuan did not have many opportunities to use these spirit qi crystals, he decided to use some to evolve Green Vine.
Green Vine had already been evolved to Sovereign/Immortal III. It was the strongest combatant Lin Yuan possessed that he had evolved through spirit qi crystals.
Rather than letting the spirit qi crystals sit in storage, it would be better to put them to use.
Feys that had reached Sovereign/Immortal were very foreign to Lin Yuan. He had not yet had the chance to interact with feys of such level.
He did have experts under him who possessed feys of such a level and had helped them to evolve said feys.
However, his method of helping them increase their power involved giving them World Crystals, the Immortal bodies cleansed by the Sacred Sword Wielding Queen, as well as pure spirit qi and elemental pearls. All he needed to do was give them these resources, and the experts would know how to evolve their feys themselves.
Lin Yuan knew the Moon Empress had been busy with the Major Federation Union and had not had much time to rest.
The Major Federation Union meeting was going to begin tomorrow, so the Moon Empress would definitely take a good rest today. Lin Yuan did not want to disturb her rest.
Apart from the Moon Empress, Mystic Moon and Cold Moon also knew about the Sovereign/Immortal level. Cold Moon was currently unavailable as she was liaising with the teams from the other federations while Mystic Moon had remained in the Radiant Moon Palace to handle the internal affairs. Hence, Lin Yuan made his call to Mystic Moon.
Mystic Moon was currently instructing the spirit attendants as they helped to check the coronation costume the Moon Empress would be wearing tomorrow.
When Mystic Moon received Lin Yuan’s call, a smile broke out on his gruff face.
During the early period, when he had only just become the Moon Empress’ disciple, Lin Yuan would occasionally call Mystic Moon to ask him for help.
But ever since Lin Yuan became fully independent, he rarely called Mystic Moon. Mystic Moon made most calls to Lin Yuan.
The important figures of the Radiance Federation now communicated with each other solely through the Thoughts Letter Paper. If this was a critical matter, Lin Yuan would definitely have written to Mystic Moon.
Now that he was calling, it meant that his question was not urgent.
“Young Lord, the Moon Empress has also prepared clothes for you. Are you really not going to attend the Major Federation Union meeting?”
Lin Yuan had told the Moon Empress with certainty that he would not be attending the Major Federation Union meeting some time ago.
Firstly, he was short on time and could not afford to expend energy on the Major Federation Union meeting. As he needed to take on Tower Canon soon, he had more pressing matters to attend to.
Additionally, he was still too young, and it would be a challenge for him to persuade the masses to follow his lead. After all, he could not go to every federation to prove himself to them.
Furthermore, his goals were no longer contained within the main world but had extended to the Sky Beyond the Clouds.
“Uncle Mystic, I really won’t attend the Major Federation Union meeting. I am calling to ask you about the changes that can happen to feys during their evolution once they reach High Sovereign/Immortal.”
Mystic Moon was momentarily stunned by this. He did not understand why Lin Yuan, an A-rank spirit qi professional, would need to ask such a question.
Moreover, the Moon Empress usually cleared Lin Yuan’s doubts. It would not be appropriate for him to go over her head to answer his question!
But the Moon Empress was currently resting. There was no way that Mystic Moon could disturb her over such a matter.
Yet, he also could not let Lin Yuan’s question go unanswered!
After a moment of silence, Mystic Moon began explaining to Lin Yuan seriously, “Young Lord, I’m sure you’re familiar with the basics. The Immortal Breed comes before the Eternal Breed. Immortal Breed has levels up to Immortal IX, while the Eternal Breed has levels up to Eternal XII. Beyond Eternal XII lies an empty space known as Above Eternal. However, it’s still quite a distance from reaching the birth-horoscope level.
“Once you attain the birth-horoscope level, you can attempt to ignite your spirit fire. This process grants feys an additional exclusive skill as they evolve from Immortal to Eternal, but no new exclusive skills are gained afterward. The only change is the increase in their life rank. Moreover, there are no more defined grades beyond Sovereign X.”
Lin Yuan nodded lightly at Mystic Moon’s explanation.
The spirit-fire level was considered the peak of the main world. There were many few birth-horoscope experts in the main world, much less spirit-fire ones! Hence, it was understandable there were no more clearly defined grades and qualities above this level for feys.
However, according to how fey grades and qualities were defined, it seemed that Above Eternal, birth-horoscope, and spirit-fire levels were all transitional. This was because the feys would not gain any new abilities or exclusive skills at those levels.
Just as this thought was settling in Lin Yuan’s mind, Morbius’ voice echoed in Lin Yuan’s head. “Partner, you have the right idea. That should be how it works! Based on my examination of Eternal Source and the Abyss Great Emperor, who are Afterlife Realm Dictators, I learned that lifeforms who surpass the spirit-fire level will be able to gain new abilities and exclusive skills!
“If my memory is right, breaking through High Sovereign will lead to World Emperor. However, the divine kingdoms of feys and dimensional lifeforms are very different from yours.”
Lin Yuan had not been shocked by what Mystic Moon said, but Morbius’ words caused his heart to begin hammering in his chest.
It was likely that the World Emperor grade and divine-kingdom level referred to the Sky Beyond the Clouds. Lin Yuan carefully made a note of these terms.
Lin Yuan was very curious to see the extent to which Green Vine could evolve given his current store of spirit qi crystals, and if it could break through to the World Emperor and the divine kingdom!
Lin Yuan only needed one fey whose quality had reached the divine-kingdom level, and he could gain an accurate understanding of a regular divine kingdom! He would find out just how it differed from his own divine kingdom that had formed from the shrine in his soul!
Mystic Moon’s description was detailed. He sincerely tried to teach Lin Yuan, and it gave Lin Yuan an understanding of the levels above Immortal Breed.
After the phone call ended, Lin Yuan used Node Transportation to transport to the location where Morbius had evolved to Myth Breed. He intended to evolve Green Vine there.
Eternal Source and the Abyss Great Emperor were Afterlife Realm Dictators, making them the equivalent of feys who had reached World Emperor and the divine-kingdom level. With them around, there was no need for Lin Yuan to worry about Green Vine’s evolution.
Green Vine preferred to stay in fey form rather than human form. It differed from the Mother of Bloodbath and Endless Summer in this aspect.
Unless it had to be in human form for convenience’s sake while it accompanied Lin Yuan, Green Vine preferred to remain elegantly rooted to the ground, swaying its vines around. Its different vines would crisscross, forming abstract shapes.
This caused Lin Yuan to wonder whether Green Vine, who had the appearance of a pretty woman, was actually an old woman with skewed tastes!
Ever since it could think independently, Green Vine never had to be concerned about its evolutions and could rely fully on Lin Yuan to supply the resources. Thus, it was not as enthusiastic and motivated about evolving as other feys. It was similar to a child who had been fed delicacies all its life and so was not excited by delicious food.
Lin Yuan reached out and touched Green Vine’s vines, and it reciprocated by wrapping its vines around him before lifting him up.
This would come across to anyone else as though a tentacle beast was hunting its prey. But to Lin Yuan, this was the most basic form of interaction between him and Green Vine.
Lin Yuan exasperatedly patted Green Vine’s vine and said, “Okay, enough playing! I’m here to evolve your grade. I want to see how far you can go! From now on and for a long time, you will be the strongest of all my feys, so you will have to handle all combat-related matters!”
Green Vine obediently set Lin Yuan back down on the ground as it said with fiery passion burning in its eyes, “Don’t worry, Yuan. Leave all the combat to me! I will do my best to increase my power and protect you!”
Lin Yuan did not respond.
He did not need Green Vine to protect him but did not mind letting Green Vine continue thinking this. Only with such a mindset would Green Vine be filled with a sense of responsibility and work harder at increasing its power!
Lin Yuan felt that despite reaching High Sovereign/Immortal, Green Vine was still a greenhorn who had yet to experience any obstacles.
He intended to use this impending disaster involving dead spirits to properly train Green Vine.
The spirit qi crystals were all placed inside custom Diamond fey storage boxes. All of the custom Diamond fey storage boxes that Lin Yuan had were in the shape of rings. This made them very convenient to carry around.
Lin Yuan took out all of the Diamond fey storage boxes as he readied himself to feed them all to Green Vine during its evolution.
Many spirit qi professionals in Thick Soil City were still waiting to increase their power. If Lin Yuan made a trip back to Thick Soil City, he could top up his store of spirit qi crystals.
When the federations of the main world were all gathered in the Radiance Federation, those experts would become the ‘garden’ from which Lin Yuan could harvest spirit qi crystals.
Lin Yuan had plenty of ways to obtain spirit qi crystals. Thus, he did not need to worry he would be left without a way of replenishing his store of spirit qi crystals after using up all that he had on hand.
Green Vine changed into human form while it was absorbing spirit qi crystals.
At that moment, Green Vine’s left arm was covered by an armor made of vines while its right leg had transformed into two vines. There was a fiercely burning dark gold flame on its left shoulder.
Once a fey reached Immortal Breed, the evolution from Immortal I to Immortal IX was meant to transform their bodies from human to humanoid forms. The objective was to blend fey features perfectly with the human form so they could wield their strongest attacks, even in humanoid form.
The body would have to go through nine transformations before reaching Immortal IX. This tempering process was excruciating for any fey.
Green Vine had reached Immortal III, and its body had already been tempered twice.
Perhaps it was due to having absorbed five of the dark gold scales that caused its body to be enveloped by dark gold flames that emanated the aura of annihilation, but Green Vine did not experience any pain during its Immortal transformations and overcame them with ease.
Green Vine’s Immortal body became increasingly lustrous as the sacred fire burned. The Immortal body also intensified in color as Green Vine’s power increased.
The High Sovereign II Green Vine evolved to High Sovereign X during this process.
According to Mystic Moon, feys would no longer be able to continue evolving past High Sovereign X even if they set their spirit fire alight.
Green Vine’s quality also evolved from Immortal III to Immortal IX.
At that moment, Green Vine fully transformed into a human state.
When it was Immortal III, Green Vine’s humanoid state had looked rather ferocious. But now that it had reached Immortal IX, its Immortal body had attained perfection!
Green Vine was wrapped in an armor of vines, and there was a long dress composed of dark gold flames under the armor.
The vine whip it was holding had eight scars on it, each corresponding to one of the vines’ capabilities.
Its dark green hair resembled curly vines that fell to Green Vine’s waist. Its hair was its most frightening weapon.
Green Vine’s body no longer had any weaknesses now that it had reached Immortal IX.
When he saw Green Vine serenely surveying its changes, Lin Yuan shouted, “Green Vine, I still have many spirit qi crystals! Continue evolving past Eternal! Once you produce the Eternal Heart, you will gain a new exclusive skill. The Eternal Heart will also become your strongest combat method.”
According to what Mystic Moon had said, the most lethal move that an Eternal fey could wield was producing its Eternal Heart and using it as an explosive against enemies.
It went without saying that producing the Eternal Heart and using it as an explosive would use up the energy within the Eternal Heart. This would hurt the fey’s roots.
Hence, Eternal Breed feys would never produce their Eternal Hearts unless they had been pushed to the brink.
Every Eternal Heart had its own special ability that allowed the fey to transform in a unique way.
Lin Yuan wanted to know what ability Green Vine’s Eternal Heart had and how it would transform Green Vine.
A fey had to cross a gaping distance to evolve from Immortal to Eternal, and it needed to be grilled by its inner demons. If it passed, it could only produce its Eternal Heart from its Immortal body.
When Immortal feys were tempered by sacred fire, they caused significant commotion. On the other hand, being grilled by their inner demons did not cause any commotion at all.
From the outside, with their eyes closed, they looked as though they were dreaming. But in actuality, being grilled by their inner demons was extremely perilous!
If they could not handle being grilled by their inner demons, their minds would become corroded, and they would devolve into lunatics.
