First Demonic Dragon

Chapter 207 [Bonus ]Grand Spectacle

207  [Bonus chapter]Grand Spectacle

“LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I HAVE A SHOW FOR YOU THAT IS UNLIKE ANY YOU HAVE EVER SEEN BEFORE!!”

Within the Uruloki colosseum, the stadium was filled to the brim with men and women of various races who were all cheering loudly.

The voice of the announcer echoed throughout the entire venue and served to incite the people even more.

“FOR THE FIRST TIME IN OUR ENTIRE HISTORY, WE WILL BEAR WITNESS TO A CLASH AGAINST ROYALTY!!”

“Wahhh?!”

“Royalty?!”

“This is great!”

Suddenly, the pot bellied announcer gestured to the most lavish lounge available.

“JOINING US TODAY IS OUR VERY OWN RULER, KING HELIOS DRAVEN!!”

Helios finally stepped into view and was met with a nervous yet respectful round of applause.

Standing at his side was the old man Hajun, whose smile hadn’t vanished from his face ever since earlier.

“What was that you said about allowing Yara to make her own decisions?”

“I said that I was still learning. Mind your own business.”

“Hahahaha!!”

A few feet away from the laughing pair was Yara who was still desperately trying to calm her raging heartbeat.

It had been a long time since she had actually seen her beloved in combat, and every cell in her body was overflowing with excitement.

‘I wonder if he still has those… He should, right?’ She thought fondly.

“I NOW PRESENT TO YOU OUR COMPETITORS FOR TODAY!”

Under the anxious eyes of the crowd, two competitors stepped into the arena from the north gate.

Both were instantly recognizable, and the already energetic crowd went ballistic.

“It’s the first prince! It’s the first prince!”

“KYAAA! I love you prince Iori!!”

“That looks like lady Seras!”

“They say she evolved but… Isn’t this too drastic a change?”

“LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, PLEASE GIVE A WARM WELCOME TO THE TAG TEAM DUO OF THE FIRST PRINCE, IORI DRAVEN, AND ONE OF THE THREE DRAGON LORDS, SERAS BLOODFLAME!”

“Tag team?”

The two of them together are already enough to take out an entire continent, so who could they possibly be competing against?!

“Could it be the second prince and lady Tiamat?”

“That makes sense! This must be some sort of game among the princes.”

“What an explosive sibling rivalry!”

It seemed like the entire crowd had made up their minds that they would soon see the arrival of the second prince.

So naturally, they were completely floored when the south gate opened and a single demon walked out.

“AND NOW PLEASE WELCOME THEIR OPPONENT, THE FORMER DEMON KING OF LUST, ASMODEUSSS!” 𝑵𝚘𝐯𝖾𝑳𝐧𝔢xt.𝗰𝒪𝓜

“KYAAA, MY HUSBAND IS SO COOL!” Yara excitedly held up two flags with Asmodeus’ face that she’d hastily made.

No one was going to stop her from supporting her beloved!

“He’s not your husband yet and stop embarrassing me!” Helios reprimanded as he pulled his fanatic daughter behind his back.

However, Yara quickly stuck her head out from behind him and blew Asmodeus a good luck kiss.

One that he promptly returned.

Shocked gasps and outcries filled the arena.

Everyone knew that the father of princess Yara’s child was supposedly dead, so why was he suddenly here taking part in a battle!?

“Was he alive all of this time…?”

“Does it matter? He’s going against the first prince and the kingdom’s best warrior at the same time he’s going to die again!”

“This has to be the king’s way of punishing him…”

All three of the fighters could naturally hear the disparaging words being thrown towards Asmodeus and while Seras felt bad, Iori was rather indifferent.

“Do you hear them? They also know that you have no chance of winning. I will give you this one chance to cease this farce now before we begin.”

At his side, Seras nodded and scratched her cheek shyly. “I think it would be best as well, father-in-law. If we do this I will not be of the mind to hold back, and I don’t want to be responsible for-”

“The two of you are rather silly.” Asmodeus suddenly said with a sigh.

“I suffer one defeat in over 20,000 years of life, and suddenly everyone looks at me like I’m something fragile to be stepped on.”

Suddenly, the sky overhead became completely black as Asmodeus shrugged out of his long robe.

“I may not be as bad as Lucifer or Satan, but I’m still a man and if you continue to step on my pride From the sky, a large and unexpected pair of weapons crashed down into the earth below and kicked

up a shroud of earth.

like this, I’m rather liable to get upset.”

From the sky, a large and unexpected pair of weapons crashed down into the earth below and kicked up a shroud of earth.

BOOM!

“Do you know why I lost all those years ago?”

When the dust settled, Asmodeus was holding two large axes connected by a black chain.

“It’s because I was caught unawares. I’m not usually one to make excuses, but if I had been more knowledgeable about my opponent’s abilities beforehand, I would never have lost.”

Asmodeus twirled his weapons in his hands and the two dragons immediately felt a strong sense of danger.

Iori and Seras both summoned their own weapons, a staggeringly long red katana and a strange black spear with a blade that looked like it was made out of crystallized blood.

“With that said, I highly doubt that anything the two of you do could surprise me. Seras, I know your combat style well from my son’s memories. And Iori… you are a mere pale imitation of Helios.”

While Seras’ face showed no visible reaction, Iori was positively furious.

The first prince shot forward like a rocket and swung his blade with the intention to cut off Asmodeus’ head.

“Die!!”

Clang!

Asmodeus easily blocked Iori’s blade with his own, all without losing his signature charismatic smile.

“So you see, it is not I who need be concerned. If the two of you do not take me seriously, I’m likely to end up killing you both on accident.”

In a whirlwind show of speed, Asmodeus broke the clash with Iori and delivered a leaping kick to Iori’s face.

Bang!

The dragon prince flew back, and while Asmodeus was still airborne, he hurled one of his overwhelmingly large axes at Seras.

‘Son…you’ll probably be upset with me for this, but I promise I’ll try to harm her as little as possible.’

Unsurprisingly, Seras deflected the attack from the axe, allowing it to embed itself in the earth behind her.

Asmodeus suddenly tugged on the chain and Seras believed that he was going to manipulate the axe behind her.

She whirled around to knock it away, only to find that the axe was still firmly planted in the ground, but the chain had gone taut.

‘Shit!’

Realizing her mistake, she quickly spun back around to recover, only to have the wind knocked out of her as Asmodeus barreled his foot into her chest.

The added momentum and power he received from using his chained axe as a grappling hook was more than enough to knock Seras back a few feet.

But there was a problem.

Despite only wearing what was seemingly a thin back outfit, it felt like Asmodeus’ foot had just connected with solid armor.

“What the hell…?”

Seras smiled wildly as she quickly recovered from her father in law’s attack. “Did you notice? I must admit that sister Valerie is quite the genius.”

“Oh? I see…” The demon lord nodded in understanding.

As soon as Asmodeus landed back on the ground, Iori released a surprise attack in the form of a blast of golden flames from his gaping mouth.

The dragon prince’s flames burned at well over 8,000 degrees.

As a demon without a lick of flame resistance, Iori was sure that the damage he had just inflicted must have been horrible.

However, Asmodeus was never even touched by the golden fire.

He had felt Iori coming from a mile away and naturally taken the appropriate measures.

“I told you already.”

“What!?”

Iori looked up in surprise to find Asmodeus flying above him with that same irritating smile.

The primordial demon had recovered both of his axes, but he had also sprouted eight feathery black wings that were as dark as the sky above.

“You are nothing but a pale imitation of your father, and as such, you are ridiculously easy to read.”

“Bastard… BASTARD!!”

Iori’s body began to increase in size and mass.

He exploded with even more muscles and grew several inches in the span of a few seconds, while his skin became covered in bright red scales.

Iori soon sprouted his own draconic wings and in a moment, he was rushing to meet the demon lord in the air.

“ASMODEUSSSS!!”

“I’m not going anywhere, little dragon. There’s no need to yell.”

Boom!

Boom!

Bang!

The two men exchanged blow after furious blow with seemingly no end in sight.

“That demon is actually matching the strength of the first prince!”

“This is incredible!”

“No wonder the princess chose him!”

The crowd was eating this display up.

Asmodeus’ combat style perfectly teetered on the balance between savagery and grace.

He would deliver a powerful blow to knock Iori back and then execute a dancelike move to escape from the range of his sword.

They had never seen anything quite like this!

Meanwhile, Seras was still on the ground, mesmerized by the scene in front of her and wrestling with her own inner demons.

She understood her father in law’s words earlier, but she truly thought that it was for the best if she kept her bad habit from coming out.

It would be awkward when she went back home and had to tell her husband that she killed his father.

‘I know that I should hold back but… this looks like so much fun!!’ She exclaimed inwardly as her eyes became lifeless and dark red scales began to enhance her body.

While exchanging blows with Iori, Asmodeus’ smile had never left his face.

But when he felt a horrible malicious energy coming from below, the hairs on the back of his neck stood up and he decided it was time to get serious.
