Chapter 358 Leaving Again
“Do you think that he is going to change his mind and take them?”
“Hard to say… it would certainly make sense for him to do so, but you know how he can be about these things.”
Kanami was in the bedroom of her sister Malenia, lying across her floor with her arms sprawled out and staring at the ceiling.
Today was the day that their brother was supposed to leave for his next campaign, but there was a bit of a problem.
He was planning to go alone.
Abaddon refused to take his armies, the Euphrates, his children, or even his wives.
His reasoning for this was that this was to be his first confrontation against a god.
He had to send a loud message to the rest of them so that they could know exactly what to expect.
As of right now, they had most likely taken his words as no more than a few gusts of air.
But he would assuredly make them pay the price for their disbelief.
And at the same time, he wanted to discover just how large the gap between himself and the children of heaven was.
“But I do not understand why our sisters in law have not offered any words of protest!” Kanami groaned.
“They must be more aware of the danger than anyone, so I do not understand why they would not force him to atleast take one of them along!”
Malenia paused from brushing her hair for just a moment as she pondered over her sister’s reasonable dilemma.
Everyone had been expecting for their voices of refusal to be the loudest, but there was no such occurrence.
As Abaddon voiced his plan to the rest of the family, they simply sat in their chairs quietly without offering any rebuttal.
And no one was quite sure why.
“Well… maybe they simply trust our brother to come back safely.” Malenia was trying to hide her own worry in front of Kanami so as not to spook her.
As the youngest of the three siblings, she was the most prone to worrying over matters that she couldn’t control, especially when it came to the safety of others.
Being a soldier had very possibly made this habit of hers worse.
“E-Even if they trust him, there can always be unexpected occurrences that could-”
“Kanami, please.”
Malenia suddenly stood up and pulled her sister from the floor.
Holding out her arms, she wrapped the red haired woman into a big hug that helped to calm her nerves.
“You’re not the only one who’s afraid for him. But our brother is an adult dragon, Kanami. He can make his own decisions, and we have to trust in the fact that they will always be the right ones.” 𝑛𝒪𝐯𝖾𝓁𝚗𝓮xt.𝒸𝑶𝓂
Kanami nodded weakly as she relaxed into her sister’s embrace.
“I am just afraid. I do not want anything to happen to him and be left without a family again. “
“What a stupid thing to say… you have father and mother, our nieces and nephew, and me. Even if something were to happen to Abaddon, you would never be alone again.”
Kanami smiled weakly as she returned her sister’s hug and she had already begun to show signs of improvement.
“Thank you for saying so, sister. I believe that I might have an easier time sending him off now.”
“Truly? Then let us go before your newfound courage wears off.”
With confidence and grace befitting that of an older sister, Malenia took her sister by the hand and started to lead her out of her room.
Together, the two of them headed downstairs to the seating area by the front door.
However, they were not the first ones there.
Standing around with the their three wives were Thea and Apophis.
Apparently, Sabine and Thea had also reached a new point in their relationship, and just like Apophis and his two new wives; they had been consummating their new coupling for several days.
Today was the first time that any of them had come out for air in a week.
Malenia and Kanami started to find it a bit odd that their nephew had decided to be with a woman a few thousand years older than him, but when they remembered who his father was, they just attributed it to his DNA.
A few moments later, Mira and Gabbrielle came down; the two of them also looking as thick as thieves similar to Kanami and Malenia.
After Lusamine arrived, Abaddon and his wives finally arrived.
This loving group had gone through many goodbyes and they never seemed to become any easier.
This time was especially difficult because Abaddon and Tatiana had just finished consummating their relationship two days ago.
She felt the urge to lock him in their bedroom and keep him chained up more than anyone.
‘I wonder if any of these new powers he has given me will work against him… spacial magic is probably too overkill just to knock him out, isn’t it?” She wondered.
‘I would say so.’
“Gah!!”
Tatiana nearly leapt out of her skin as she’d forgotten to keep her thoughts specifically to herself.
As a result, Abaddon had heard them and was now smiling at her happily.
“I’m touched by your determination, love, but there is no need for you to go to such lengths. I will always return to you no matter what, and this time is no different.”
Suddenly, Abaddon hugged his ninth wife and his lips brushed past her ear.
“Although, if you still desire to lock me in our room when I return, i would not be opposed to it.”
Tatiana fought her hardest to maintain the upstanding and motherly image that she was trying to build.
Upon sleeping with Abaddon and the girls for eight days straight, her succubus heritage has bloomed and showcased itself in the form of a bottomless libido.
Suddenly there was a new runner up in the competition between Audrina and Valerie that dictated which of them was the most erotic.
As Abaddon left her side to speak to his children, Tatiana received a firm squeeze on the hand from Bekka.
‘Don’t worry, we have that, remember?’
‘Ah, yes!’ She realized.
The building amount of worry within Tatiana’s heart slowed to only a trickle, and she was able to firmly resolve herself for what was to come.
“Does father have a plan?” Thea asked.
Abaddon nodded his head as he finally released his eldest daughter.
“To avoid tipping the god off before I’m ready, I will have to compress my soul to the tiniest possible degree so that I will appear as no more than a normal human soul.”
Thea’s eyes suddenly sparkled like huge amethyst gems. “Does that mean???”
“…yes…”
“Kyaaa!! Let me see again!”
“No! I will only do it once I’ve left!”
“Pleaseeeeee!!!”
“Thea Serenity Tathamet, what part of ‘no’ are you not grasping??”
“All of it?”
Abaddon suddenly felt like never telling his children no when they wanted something was starting to come back to bite him in the tail.
Who knew that it would make things so difficult in the future?
“Pleaseeee, father???” Thea begged once again.
*sigh*
A golden glow encompassed Abaddon’s body before his aura all but disappeared.
His figure changed into that of a much younger man with a fade haircut and glasses with chunky cheeks and rich brown skin.
Amongst everyone else’s lavish clothing, he looked rather out of place in his dark black hoodie and green cargo pants with sneakers.
The only remenant of his true appearance were his reptilian eyes that were continually changing color everytime he blinked.
“Are you happy now? Honestly, you shave off a million years of my life everytime you-“
“KYYYAAAA HE’S SO CHUBBY!”
“Uwah?!”
Before Abaddon knew what was happening, all nine of his wives and three daughters surged after him.
After they knocked him to the ground, they took turns rubbing his belly and cheeks while making various unnecessary remarks.
Mira: “It’s so jiggly! It’s like pudding!”
Bekka: “Aww look at your baby face, I just want to bite it!”
Gabbrielle: “This is what you looked like before… what an astounding difference.”
“Hey! What the hell is that supposed to mean?!”
Tired of being played with, Abaddon turned into an intangible mist before he reappeared a few feet away at a safe distance.
“Can you all be normal for once?? Most of you have already seen this in my memories, so what’s the difference??”
“The difference is this!”
In a flash of lightning, Lisa appeared beside Abaddon and rubbed her face against him like she was some kind of dog.
“So soft~”
“T-This is so unnecessary…”
“Do I say anything when you grab my butt anytime you please?”
“No, you usually tell me not to let it go.”
“Exactly, so let me have this!” She demanded cutely.
‘I feel like I have lost a lot of respect as one of the heads of this household…’ he thought.
Five minutes after he finally peeled his loving wife off of him, he was once again on his way out the front door.
He took one last look at his smiling family and he felt his resolve temporarily weakened before it was hardened like never before.
At the end of the day, this was just another trial that was standing in the way of returning home to them.
And just like all of the challenges before this, he would destroy it with everything that he had.
‘The faster I go, the faster I can come back.’
His heart firm, he waived his loved ones goodbye without looking back, and he vanished from his world of Sheol.
–
After temporarily teleporting back to Dola, Abaddon killed himself and left his body to rest in the sunken lands of Antares.
Once he was dead, he was taken to the same limbo space that he had once rescued Lillian from.
The only difference now was, his vision was no longer inhibited and he could force his body to stay in this plane as long as he wanted.
He reappeared in a completely black space and standing on a cross roads with several different paths.
Looking around, he could see other humans walking on the paths absentmindedly; like they already knew where they were supposed to go.
“Should I just pick a road at random…?” He wondered aloud.
“”How about that one?””
“I guess, but why- what the fuck?!”
Nearly leaping out of his skin, Abaddon nearly let out a cry of indignation when he saw two women standing behind him with cheeky smiles on their faces.
“Audrina… Seras… what are you doing here?” He asked with a smile that was not a smile.
