Chapter 571: Alexs Next Plan
571 Alex's Next Plan
After resting enough for a trip to the Nilis Continent, Alex flew out of the sect. He didn't meet the sect master or any other person in the sect since their relationship wasn't as deep as Charya and Rose. In the end, Xiang Bai and the others only knew about it after Alex left the sect.
The journey was instant as he used rank 6 Teleportation Array for a few tens of times to cover the distance between the two continents. Of course, it took him more than he expected, considering it was further than the distance between Willow Continent and Northern Continent.
Even so, it only took them an instant for Alex to reach the land before recovering his energy for a while.
Alex sat down in a deeper part of the forest to recover his Spiritual Energy. As a careful person, of course, he left Jeanne and Leoz to watch the surroundings, so no one bothered him.
Luckily, there were a few monsters and people nearby, but no one flew toward Alex's direction. He stayed inside the forest for a few hours before finally recovering back to full strength. Alex continued his journey by using his teleportation to reach another side of the continent so that he could reach the Sacred Continent.
Alex arrived at the port city but didn't enter. His purpose in going near this city was to confirm his direction. Leoz said that after reaching the port city, they needed to go toward Northeast. If he used his Teleportation Array toward the North, he would likely have arrived at Heavenly Continent without even arriving at Sacred Continent.
He took the time to recover again as he wanted to go prepared rather than unprepared. He could arrive within an hour with his teleportation array, considering he could make one array per minute. The distance was around half of the distance to travel around the Earth.
With monsters protecting the ocean and the sky, it made traveling hard. If not, Alex would need around one and half months to travel.
In this case, Alex was glad to have a Space Element.
After resting for an hour, Alex finally snapped his finger as a Teleportation Array appeared beneath his feet and teleported him away.
...
After entering the new continent, Alex was confused as to his own position. "Nelson, where are you? I have arrived on Sacred Continent… but I am still vague about my own position."
Nelson's card on his hand glowed before releasing a sound. "I don't have a base on this continent so that Young Master can summon me to your side."
Without replying, Alex quickly channeled his Spiritual Energy to the card and said, "Summon."
The handsome young man appeared in front of him, kneeling respectfully. "It's been a few years, Young Master. I am happy to see you again."
"Yeah. Sorry for asking you this task alone for the past few years." Alex nodded and smiled, appreciating Nelson's efforts.
"First of all, where am I right now?" Alex asked.
Nelson didn't immediately answer him as he flew up for a minute to observe their surroundings before descending. "We are not far from the port city. We can go to the Port City from here with a single teleportation array."
Talking in the city sounded nice, but Alex had no idea about this continent. He decided to ask first before doing anything. "Can you tell me about the influences on this continent?"
"Yes." He pondered for a moment and said, "There are five influences that ruled this continent. Black Devil Sect in the west, Ancient Blue Family in the north, Tyrant Clan in the center, Martial Pavillion in the south, and Likas Kingdom in the east.
"We are situated in Martial Pavillion's territory. If you enter the Martial Pavilion, there would be many Martial Arts, Element Arts and other Arts opened to you. However, Young Master wouldn't need something like that with the knowledge in your head." Nelson explained honestly.
"Haha… I can say the knowledge that I got from the lightning tribulation is numerous, but that's not all. There will always be something that I don't know." Alex shrugged. "Tell me the others first."
"Understood." Nelson nodded and started explaining. "The Tyrant Clan is like its name. They are a clan that is focused on strength and body refining. The clan thought that their body is the best weapon and wouldn't lose against any weapons. They were training something to make an artificial dragon scale… or at least that's the purpose of their technique.
"On the other hand, the Ancient Blue Family in the North is a Family that has been ruling the north for a few millennials. They were also connected to the Ancient Blue Family on the Heavenly Continent, so we should avoid them for the time being.
"The next influence would be the Likas Kingdom. This Kingdom didn't have any outstanding ability enough to be their trademarks. This also means they have an average about Strength, Martial Arts, and other things you can think of. Let's say that this is a mediocre kingdom but won't easily go down because of its stability.
"And the last thing would be our target. Unlike the other influences, the people on this continent didn't really like Blood Devil Sect because of their practice. Their actual territory is their sect at the size of Heavenly Sword Sect. They have around fifty thousand members… it's a small number, but…" Nelson paused for a while.
Alex already knew what he wanted to say, so he broke his silence. "I see. Their cultivation is higher than anybody else because of the pill. Then with that kind of practice, their influence doesn't have a great image."
"Yeah. That's basically it. They also don't control their territory at all. Let's say that the areas in their jurisdiction are lawless areas where crime could happen at any moment. Their territory is filled with criminals and prisoners. This is why the Black Devil Sect could easily extract their blood and turn them into a pill.
"However, I suggest being careful if you want to go against them. I have some information about them, including their origin. Their sect master is a human but looked like a zombie. From what I know, the leader went into the Cursed Land situated on the west of Black Devil Sect. In that place, he received this kind of power to extract people's blood and created Black Devil Sect to the scale now within five centuries.
"I don't know his exact power, but we could safely assume he is a Martial Monarch… at least 5-Star." Nelson said.
Alex suddenly remembered that he had yet to level Nelson up, so he quickly asked the city to use every EXP Card to Nelson, raising his power to 1-Star Martial Monarch.
"Thank you for the EXP Cards, Young Master." Nelson thanked him before pausing for a few seconds. "Even though I am a Martial Monarch now, I doubt I can fight against their Sect Master. At best, Leoz might be his opponent after he enters 6-Star to be careful."
"6-Star Martial Monarch?" Alex was bewildered. The highest power on the Northern Continent was only 3-Star Martial Monarchs. Although it was the pill's work to make their sect master a 5-Star Martial Monarch, it was still too absurd to wait for Leoz 6-Star Martial Monarch to fight him.
Noticing the confusion in his eyes, Nelson quickly explained. "I am not asking this because I am afraid of the sect master. It's because of their members. If I am not wrong, there are around two hundred Martial Monarchs in this place. Of course, two-third of them were 1-Star Martial Monarch, and their power was equal to 10-Star Martial Emperor, but considering they have Berserk Pills and such, they silently became the ruler of this continent. Meanwhile, the other influences here have similar power from those on the Northern Continent."
Alex looked down while crossing his arm. His face made a troubled expression as he was clear what kind of effect the Berserk Pill gave. "This would be a troublesome fight…"
"Yeah. We can safely assume it's hard to fight them from head-on. In that case, we can start using the guerilla tactic."
"We can indeed. But the problem is… the moment they decide to lock down their gate, killing them would be hard because of the concentrated force. The sooner they make that decision, the harder they are." Alex scratched his head as he couldn't come up with a single plan. If this was on the Northern Continent, he could somehow pull Blackwade Clan for a fight like this. Unfortunately, he was on the Sacred Continent and was also a nobody.
Alexx looked at Nelson for a few seconds before muttering, "If I ask you to assassinate a few people, it would only alarm the enemy. However, if we attack them big time to chip away their number, how many times do you think we could attack them before they lockdown their gates?"
"I don't know the answer." Nelson regretfully shook his head and said. "It's better to call Anya for a question like this, Young Master."
"Yeah. You are right." Alex nodded. However, he didn't take Anya's card alone. Instead, there are Anna, Jeanne, Leoz, and Greg.
"Anya and Anna will stay here to think about our situation. Jeanne, Leoz, and Greg will be watching our surroundings."
"Yes." The trio quickly bowed their heads and disappeared.
Meanwhile, Anya quickly answered Alex's previous question. "I assume we can only do that for two or three times at most. If possible, I want to attack them to get at least five thousand to ten thousand people at once. Their first reaction would be angry.
"After all, with their power, they secretly rule the continent. However, an unknown influence suddenly decides to give a devastating blow. They would surely be angry at us and try to attack us. We will use that opportunity to attack them the second time. Depending on their reaction time, we can kill another batch."
Alex looked at Anya for a few seconds before he nodded. "Indeed. The second time aside, there is no way they would move five to ten thousand people at once without any big event." Alex sighed.
As Alex said, that was also the problem in Anya's head. She pondered for a moment before looking at Nelson. "Do we have any information about big events on this continent?"
"There is one that would start in a month. It's called Martial Festival. I have done a few investigations, and it would seem the event will be held in the Special Realm of Martial Arts Pavillion. The realm itself is vast, and around a thousand disciples from each big influence will participate in this event." Nelson nodded while recalling all the information from his head.
"What is this event all about?"
"It's something you know, Young Master. The event is similar to the Battle Tower that you experienced in Heavenly Sword Sect. That killing monsters thing and raises one's strength." Nelson smiled.
"Oh?" Astonishment appeared on his face. He started recalling that he needed to kill monsters and receive energy equivalent to them to raise his strength.
"The difference between them is that this event would ask you to get the monster core yourself before going to the temple in the middle of the realm and pour all your cores inside. From my expectation, you can raise your cultivation by one or two stars. The people outside wouldn't know what happened inside the realm so that we could easily kill all the Black Devil Sect's disciples. Of course, only Martial Emperors could enter the barrier. In other words, Leoz, me, and Jeanne couldn't participate."
"Ehm… I shouldn't level you up earlier." Alex sighed.
"Haha… Don't worry, Young Master. I, Leoz, and Jeanne will create a disturbance outside by killing the people from Black Devil Sect. Then they would send some reinforcement and hopefully a few thousands which we can exterminate." Nelson assured him.
