“Nah, I need to train my body, or else I might get slumped by the university’s military training.” Su Zipeng said while smiling. He heard that Jing Hua University’s military training was the strictest and the most tiring among all universities in the country which would last a month long. If he does not gain some muscles now, he might really well get bested by the training.

“Little Peng, which university you are attending? Do you have any difficulties at home that you might want me you help with?” His manager who liked him asked.

“Thank you mister manager. My family condition is still okay, they can afford my studies. My university is just some regular school. I’m admitted to Jing Hua University’s Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics.”

Upon finishing, Su Zipeng waved his hands and walked away chicly.

“Jing Hua University?”

His manager opened his eyes wide.

His fat supervisor’s face suddenly turned red. He wobbled the flesh on his face and berated him in secrecy, “Jing Hua? Who would have believed him!”

Su Zipeng would be reporting for school soon.

Father Su and Mother Su wanted to send him over and at the same time have a stroll around the famous Jing Hua Garden, having a look at the scenery themselves.

There were three fewer people at home at an instant.

In within two days’ time, Su Tiantian moved out as well, reason being “the company is providing hostel, it will be more convenient for me”. The real reason was because of what Father Su and Mother Su told her. Moreover, in front of her elder sister and her brother-in-law who were madly showcasing their affection, she thought that it was rather unsightly for a light bulb like her to stay in their way and moving out would be the better choice.

There was now only Chen Jin and Su Yun in this large house. But Chen Jin would only be coming over occasionally… he would still mostly be staying in his own house.

It was even more difficult for a person to get used to staying in such a big house. Therefore, to ease herself going on and off work, Su Yun too moved back to her unit’s dormitory… she would only go back to the Sunshine Garden District during weekends.

Besides, about her getting registered with Chen Jin, Su Yun’s account book was still in her old house, and so they could only wait until after Lunar New Year.

Summer holiday ended.

The tract of daily life had seemingly reverted to its former plainness. But at the same time, lots of new anticipations were born, at least for Chen Jin. He was relishing in this moment of his life. No matter what the others have to say about him, he had already grasped on everything he desired.

In the resting hall on the third floor.

Store manager Chiu Wanting, vice store manager Guo Yan and several foremen were all perturbed and emotionally distressed. All the other staffs in the jewelry shop were also in a state of trepidation and anxiety.

“Manager, that Landlord Lee is so rapacious!”

“A rental of 10 million dollars per year. That doubles our current rentals. And he demands us to pay not a single cent less.”

“Why didn’t he go rob a bank?”

“Auntie Chiu, we have already talked to him for more than 10 times. That man isn’t making any steps back. What should we do?”

“Are we going to lose our jobs?”

Some of them almost cried. They had finally found a job that they wished to do in the long run. But due to inflating rentals, their dreams were about to disperse like bubbles.

Guo Yan grinded her teeth, “That damned son of a landlord!”

“Manager, what should we do?”

Everyone looked at store manager Chiu Wanting with helplessness and anxiety written on their faces. Chiu Wanting’s face was also very awful, but she was helpless either, because that landlord by the surname Lee have them firmly under his feet!

Forever Jewels’s store rental contract would be expiring in less than a month. They would have to renew the contract to continue business operations. “10 million a year, not even a single cent less!” He shown a tough attitude and hung up the call immediately.

After that, Chiu Wanting called him for more than 10 times and talked to him face to face for three times. His tough attitude however was still solid as rock. Rentals would still be 10 million dollars, not even a single cent less.

“Why are you increasing the rental so much? Are you afraid that we will not rent this shop?” Chiu Wanting asked this question numeral times.

“This is my shop! I do whatever I want with the rental!”

Landlord Lee kept on giving her the same answer. There was one time that he got impatient and spoke out what he really thought on the inside, “Isn’t your boss Chen Jin? He already has a few trillion dollars of net worth, why is he still stubbornly attached to this small amount of money?”

It suddenly became clear for Chiu Wanting. Landlord Lee clearly wanted to leech from Forever Jewels, or to say leech from her young boss, Chen Jin.

The boundary her boss Chen Jin gave her was: annual rental must not be over 6 million dollars.

This amount of money obviously could not satisfy Landlord Lee’s appetite. He even thought that 10 million dollars a year was considered less. Thus, he would not accept price negotiations of shaving the price by even a single cent.

Besides, that Landlord Lee just visited Forever Jewels. He greeted the people there by announcing that their rent would due in a month, if they do not wish to renew their contract, he would rent the shop to somebody else.

And that was why everyone was agitated.

Chiu Wanting shook her head, “I can’t make a dent out of this problem, I shall let boss decide on this.”

She picked up her phone and made a call, reflecting the situation to Chen Jin.

Chen Jin who had received the call said, “I’m on the way to the shop, let’s continue over there in 10 minutes.”

Staunchly, 10 minutes later.

Chen Jin arrived at Forever Jewels. Beside him was a young man wearing fancy clothing.

Upon seeing Chiu Wanting, Chen Jin pulled the young man over and introduced to her, “Aunt Chiu, this is Mr. Wang. Just call him Little Wang. His family is doing real estate. In this street Forever Jewel’s at, his family owns 18 shop lots with sizes not smaller than this shop you’re currently standing in. Later, go pick one with Mr. Wang, I will buyout whichever shop you choose. Forever Jewels must keep on operating forever!”

Boom…

Chiu Wanting and the others were all stunned. Guo Yan was also stupefied. Her heart was thumping rapidly. Her boss was so tyranny and handsome at the same time!

“Big Brother Chen, leave this to your little brother!”

Wang Zeyu pounded his chest with a smirk on his face, “That Landlord Lee plucked up some good courage over there. Looks like he’s unaware of his rightful place. He dares set his mind on moguls like you. Be rest assured Big Brother Chen, I have ways to teach him a lesson. I will make it so that he can never rent this shop away forever and can only let it out at a very low price!”

“Oh? How do you plan on doing it?” Chen Jin asked curiously.

“As long you have plenty of cash, there are a myriad of methods that you can resort to. By that time, I will let you Big Brother Chen, listen to that Landlord Lee begging for mercy.”

Chen Jin nodded and patted his shoulders, “All on you Little Brother Ze.”

He was also disgusted by that Landlord Lee to the uttermost. It could not get any better when somebody offered help to prank him.

Later on.

Wang Zeyu brought along Chiu Wanting, Guo Yan and the others and paraded down Jin Ling West Road as if they were riding on clouds. Of all the 18 shop lots that belonged to the Wang’s, it happened to be that shop lot 157 was not rented out yet. Therefore, Chiu Wanting and the others decided on this shop, making this shop lot Forever Jewel’s new store. Renovations would begin immediately. When the rental contract at the other shop ends, they would immediately shift over.

The area of shop lot 157 was 389 square meters. Adding up with its land value, its price would be at least 60-70 million dollars.

Chen Jin was preparing to take out his money, but Wang Zeyu waved his hands and declined his payment. This shop was his gift for his Big Brother Chen. Xing Hai Technologies had helped his father to earn a couple of billions, their family must do some gestures as gratitude… humans must learn to be grateful!

Unable to waver his persistence, Chen Jin accepted the gift.
