Chapter 352: The Luck Systems Mee
Chapter 352: The Luck Systems Mee
Grr!
Grrr!
Grrrr!
In the System World existed a group of Systems, all from the Luck Genre. It was a once in a lifetime scene, as Systems from the same Genre, that had always hidden themselves from one another were now gathered together.
On one side was the Destiny Luck System, resembling a fawn as it tried its best to calm itself but was unable to do so, turning angrier and angrier as it shouted, “What the fuck did you do, Coincidental Luck?”
“Don’t pin the blame on me.” Standing a couple of metres before the fawn was a deer, the Coincidental Luck System that snorted in response, “Why are you acting like this doesn’t involve you? Weren’t you the one that tried to rope in Stencil Carburettor?”
“So what? My plan was only to turn her into a System Slayer. But you…” The fawn bellowed, “Freaking you supported Compass Carburettor with so much luck that he coincidentally stumbled upon the truth. And now, he coincidentally found a way to shed everything and turn into the Main Character.”
“And coincidentally, he came across the means to do so.” The faun snorted, “Are you telling me this isn’t related to you? Only you have the means to make this a reality.”
“None of those were coincidences.” The deer snorted, “Whatever Compass Carburettor did was due to his wit and intelligence. Whenever a chance presented itself, he milked it to the limit and didn’t even leave any dregs behind. There’s a limit to how much luck can support someone. Besides,”
It pointed at the Destiny Luck System, “If it wasn’t for you riling up the rest of these idiots to enter my property, none of this would have happened. So, it’s entirely your fault.”
“This fucker, wanna die?” The Destiny Luck System’s body slowly began to increase in size as it began to exude its presence, causing the surroundings to shimmer in response.
“Had this happened in my property under my control, I would indeed have been held responsible.” The Coincidental Luck System said casually, “But, you were the ones to barge into my property. So, I’ll hold you accountable.”
“Don’t come up with excuses…” The Destiny Luck System snorted.
“Are you done?” Suddenly, Straxia spoke, sporting an expression of boredom as she watched the body of her System exiting her, saying in displeasure as she stared at it, “Just get it done with, alright?”
“You do realise the situation you’re in, right?” The Happy-Go-Lucky System that resembled a baby deer stated in anger.
“What can you do to me? Make me unlucky?” Straxia laughed, “No matter what, once the cycle ends, I’ll vanish and be reborn. What else can you do to me? Torture me?”
She grinned in disdain, “Do you have that much free time on your hands?”
“You think I can’t kill you?” The Happy-Go-Lucky System suddenly laughed as its tiny horns flashed for a moment before the System exiting Straxia screamed in pain as its body was severed.
“Once I turn you into a System Slayer and kill you, it’ll be impossible for you to revive even after your world loops.” It said, watching the remainder of the severed portion of Straxia’s System return to her body.
“Well, do it then.” Straxia slowly got up, noticing that she was able to move again, “I’m curious to know how much it would affect my world to lose its strongest being.”
“You dare kill her, and I’ll gobble you up right here and now.” The Coincidental Luck System slowly walked over as it stood before the Happy-Go-Lucky System, dwarfing it, “Do you have the guts to do so?”
“You think I don’t?” The Happy-Go-Lucky System taunted in response, taking action immediately as it tried to fuse the body of the System in Straxia with her clothes and turn it into a Personal Fragment, thereby making her into a System Slayer.
But when it tried to take action, its attacks coincidentally failed to work, causing it to snort as it gazed at the Coincidental Luck System in displeasure.
“Why don’t you ditch Rhizen and enter me in the next loop?” Straxia grinned as she leapt into the air before grabbing onto the Coincidental Luck System’s neck, hanging from there like a monkey, “It’ll be fun.”
“You’re not the perfect fit for me.” The Coincidental Luck System replied in patience, not even the least displeased by her actions.
“Why not? I’m sure I’ll grow better than him.” Straxia said, “Rhizen is only good at using your Luck. But, I’ll be able to use the rest of your abilities too. Wouldn’t that be better?”
“Besides, don’t you need me to chase after Compass Carburettor?” She grinned, “I should be able to do better than Rhizen in this regard, right?”
“You’re right about that.” The Coincidental Luck System nodded, “Since I’ve already eaten him this time, he won’t appear until my world loops again.”
It snorted, gazing at the rest of the Luck Systems, “Then these fuckers won’t be able to permanently kill him.”
“Well, I’ll have to admit that Rhizen is indeed the best Host a Luck based System can hope to obtain. So, if they were to kill him, it’ll be a question of their intelligence.” Straxia mocked. She then noticed her hands beginning to shiver mildly as she looked at the Coincidental Luck System, “Time is running short. The System World is already beginning to reject me.”
“Why the heck are you wasting my time? Fully extract your body from her and get lost.” The Coincidental Luck System gazed at the Cult Sovereign System, Straxia’s System, causing it to nod meekly.
The Cult Sovereign System began to hurriedly suck out the rest of its body within Straxia, tumbling to the ground in exhaustion once it was done.
Immediately after, the Coincidental Luck System opened a portal to its world, sending Straxia back, “I’ll bring you out once it’s time to leave.”
“Uh-huh.” Straxia nodded, her eyes dim as she vanished from the System World.
The Coincidental Luck System then gazed at the Destiny Luck System, the Happy-Go-Lucky System and the rest of the Systems from the Luck Genre, “Our goal is now simple. Before news of Compass Carburettor becoming the Main Character is leaked, we must eliminate him.”
“Until then, let’s set aside our differences and try to locate him. We’ll have to manually scour through all the worlds. It’ll take time, but with all of us here, we’ll eventually find him.” The Coincidental Luck System said.
“You can coincidentally open the portal to the world he’s at on your first try.” The Destiny Luck System snorted.
“Why don’t you try instead?” The Coincidental Luck System retorted, “You’re destined to find him first.”
