Chapter 496: I’m The Main Character’s Daughter
Chapter 496: I’m The Main Character’s Daughter
Thanks to her Personal Fragment, Stencil gained control of the System growing in her mind. Slowly, the lightning sparks destroyed the excess parts that she felt were undesirable, helping the rest fuse into one entity.
And since the lightning snakes unleashed by her Personal Fragment had taken control of it, forming what was akin to a nervous system in its body, the final fused System was an entity akin to a puppet, fully under her control.
‘But, I cannot bring it out of my body. It would just dissipate.’ She thought, eyes lighting up in surprise when she got an idea.
Stencil wasn’t that young anymore. She was currently thirteen years old, more mature than when she was a kid who became Host to the Money-Making System. She had been through a lot during the two years she was a System Host, causing her to mature quickly.
Moreover, thanks to her experiences, she too was able to think afar. Unlike Compass Carburettor who wasn’t smart at birth, she was smarter than her peers even before becoming a System Host. And during her time with the Money-Making System, she became more cunning.
When she was but a child, she lost her mother and grandfather. And at the same time, she lost an arm too. For as long as she could remember, she lived her life with an artificial arm.
But now, Stencil gazed at her arm, seeing that it was made from flesh and blood. Of course, Gana had refined a lot of healing pills over the past three years that had fully healed her injury, making her body good as new.
“Thank you, Aunty.” She smiled.
“Are you okay now?” Gana asked, checking Stencil’s body to see that she was indeed alright now, no longer on the verge of falling unconscious.
“I’ve placed the System growing in my mind under my control. And I’ve also destroyed part of it.” Stencil smiled, “So, my mind is no longer in strain.”
She then focused within herself, meditating for a long time before sensing the Coordinate that was within her.
Compass Carburettor had turned her into a Beyonder for a simple reason. If he failed to solve her issue, or if she were to die due to a lack of food or other needs within the Dimensional Space, it wouldn’t be a problem.
After all, as a Beyonder, she also had the power of the Warble. So, Compass Carburettor would be able to easily revive her in the future.
But now, upon sensing this Coordinate in her body, Stencil smiled, speaking, “A Divine Martial Spirit has one form at the Origin Refinement Stage, two forms at the Martial Origin Stage, and three forms at the Martial Providence Stage. Meaning, at my present cultivation, I can fuse with two fusion materials.”
Saying so, she extracted the Coordinate from her body, fusing it with the second form of her Martial Spirit, struggling a little in the process.
But even though the Coordinates seemed ethereal and could only be touched by Compass Carburettor, as she was still an extension of the Main Character as a Beyonder, Stencil could touch it.
And hence, she fused her Martial Spirit with it, smiling in response to a successful fusion.
“Why did you do that?” Gana asked, tilting her head in confusion, “What is the use in fusing with that?”
“The Coordinates are a mysterious power that forms the base of any System. And it’s this base on which a certain concept is infused to birth a System by the System World.” Stencil said, “There’s no use at present. But,”
She smiled gently, “When I break through to the Martial Providence Stage, I’ll become one with my Martial Spirit. At that time, my body would become the same as a Coordinate. And with my Personal Fragment’s power to control Systems, I’ll be able to turn into a System myself if I so desire.”
“At the Martial Providence Stage, I’ll be able to control three Systems in total.”
“Smart.” Gana’s eyes lit up as she exclaimed in shock. This was the first time she was interacting with Stencil. Until now, she hadn’t ever assumed for her to be this intelligent.
Based on the accounts from Compass Carburettor, she only seemed like a naïve child that needs to be protected.
‘Of course, that is only my Lord’s perspective of his child. She’s actually damn smart.’ Gana nodded before relaxing, “Now that you’re safe, I can finally relax. I haven’t had a moment’s peace for the past three and a half years.”
“You’ve worked hard, aunty.” Stencil hugged her gently, giggling in response, “Let me help you now. We’ll surprise dad when he returns.”
“Haha, that would be wonderful.” Gana smiled before closing her eyes, falling asleep immediately.
Until now, she hadn’t had a night of proper sleep, only taking short naps of ten minutes each time she was tired, splitting her sleep into many intervals throughout the day.
For, she didn’t dare miss anything that might happen to Stencil. But now that Stencil was cured, she could relax, finally taking the sleep that she had missed out on for the past few years.
Stencil didn’t have much strength though, for she had been unconscious for too long. She became exhausted as soon as she got up. So, she didn’t wish to strain herself any longer, closing her eyes as she focused on her Martial Spirit, slowly tapping into the exclusive line shared by all four Divine Spirits.
She focused on the line connecting to the Human Divine Martial Spirit, contacting Rhizen, “Uncle…Rhizen?”
“Who?” Rhizen was roaming through a different Realm, stealthily trailing after a System Host that he had discovered through its luck values, planning to find the right moment to kill it when he noticed a message coming from the Earth Divine Martial Spirit.
Of course, he was also in contact with the other Divine Martial Spirits. Though, he had only been conversing with the Heaven Divine Martial Spirit, for that was the only other Martial Spirit that was in the Martial Spirit Realm other than his Human Divine Martial Spirit.
Of course, now that the Earth Divine Martial Spirit contacted him, Rhizen was curious as to what the other party had to say, slightly shocked upon hearing the other party state his name, “And you are?”
“I’m the Main Character’s daughter.”
