I Hate Systems

Chapter 939 Royal Sect

There was zero difference between the Dreamscape and reality. Therefore, the events that would happen next would be a direct reflection of reality.

So, by observing three decades in the Dreamscape, Compass Carburettor was obtaining information regarding three decades of that universe's future.

Considering how this information was regarding the most vital experiment that Martial and the Waning Essence System were banking on, Compass Carburettor was reaping profits thirty years in advance.

Once he mines all the resources from the Dreamscape and leaves, even if Martial and the Waning Essence System wished to catch up to him, they would require three decades of progress.

This was how Compass Carburettor branched into the Realm of the ultimate conceptβ€”Timeβ€”through his power of Dreamcraft.

The ultimate peak represented by the Systems were the three Grade 4 Systems, all of which occupied segments of the concept of Time. So, if he were to go against them in the future, he would need methods to guard against time.

Time could only be guarded against by time. Other peak concepts like space and fate could only endure against Time.

And of course, Dreamcraft also treaded onto the concepts of space and fate too. After all, Mortality occurred throughout history, spanning the vastness of the multiverse, hitting each individual differently.

It touched time through the history of Mortality, space through the vastness of the multiverse where Mortality occurred, and fate through how individuals faced Mortality only when their time was up.

The timeline of the universe stopped flowing as the Dreamscape took effect. In the Dreamscape, the universe functioned as is, flowing through its timeline there.

Compass Carburettor was seated on the roof of the building, pondering for a few minutes before he teleported into the kitchen and continued his activities as a staff of the establishment.

The morning, the next day. Rass woke up, refreshed, feeling a welling sense of accomplishment, "I've finally eradicated the Murim Sects."

He began to think, "But, all the power was held by them. And now that I've annihilated them, it creates a massive vacuum of power. If left as is, the world would fall into chaos."

"Not all martial art manuals have been eradicated." He frowned, "Since the major Sects have been annihilated, the surviving Martial Artists would go into hiding. It would take me decades to chase after and eradicate them all."

He massaged his forehead, got up and exited his room, walking through the corridor as he passed by the nearby rooms, staring at the messy individuals lying all over the place. They were his subordinates that had drunk themselves into stupidity until morning.

'Until now, these guys followed me because eradicating the Martial Arts Sects gave them a sense of accomplishment. It was easy fighting such invasive battles. But searching for Martist Artists across the vast world is an exhausting task that they would come to hate over time. It's just not rewarding enough for the effort.' He thought, finally coming to the primary issue at hand, 'And, I would have to create weapons that last longer than a couple of days.'

'Until now, I always displayed a time limit of two days for my items. To search farther, I would need to create items that last longer.' He sighed, 'If I do that, my ruse would be found out.'

He clicked his tongue, mildly annoyed, 'They are just expendable trash. But, I don't want to go through training another group of people from scratch. It would leave me vulnerable. Besides, annihilating the Martial Artists gave them valuable experience in using guns against martial arts. I can't waste that.'

"Guess, it is what it is. I have to put up with them for a while longer." He muttered and began to freshen up.

It was evening by the time all his subordinates got up and freshened themselves. Following that, they assembled in a large room where Rass stared at them, pointing at the subordinate that managed their wealth, "How much money do we have?"

"Sir, we have enough to buy this entire city." The subordinate replied, "Unfortunately, we destroyed all the title deeds safe kept by the Sects. Otherwise, we could have legally claimed all the property they owned beyond their Sects."

"That won't be necessary anyway." Rass grinned, "We'll establish our country."

"L-Leader, y-you mean?" The subordinate closest to him muttered in shock, feeling as if his ears were playing tricks on him.

"Our first step was annihilating the Sects to erase all traces of Martial Arts. But, there are still surviving Martial Artists out there." He said, pointing at everyone, "Our weakness is that you cannot be more than two days away from me. My weapons cannot last beyond that. So, that means hunting the loose Martial Artists wouldn't be efficient."

"Indeed, they will come to know of our movements and remain elusive." One of the smarter subordinates analysed.

"Instead, all we need to do is pass a law banning Martial Arts." Rass grinned, "And for that to happen, we need to gain legitimacy to our rule. That will happen once we establish our country."

"But sir, can't we just annihilate the current royal family and replace them?" One of the subordinates asked.

Rass stared at the subordinate in disdain, "Can any of you retards govern a region? Do you know about agriculture, mining, manufacturing, transport and entertainment sector?" 𝒷ℯ𝒹𝓃𝓸𝓿ℯ𝓁.𝒸ℴ𝓢

Upon seeing the subordinates bow their head in response, Rass spoke curtly, "So, the moment we replace the current kingdom, it would collapse. Or in another case, we'll all end up becoming puppets to the current nobles. Don't underestimate their ability to scheme. We won't even know when we start to dance to their tunes."

"So, I devised a solution to that." He grinned and raised his hands, "A country governed by a Sect."

"A country governed by a Sect?" The subordinates muttered as the eyes of some lit up in shock, understanding what he was getting at.

"Indeed," Rass grinned, "We'll establish ourselves at the centre of power with our weapons. All the nobles would ally with us to gain this power. This way, we won't be racking our heads with something we don't know but still remain at the centre of the world."

"But leader, didn't you say that your power cannot be shared with others?" The subordinate that talked with him the previous night asked in confusion.

"Idiot, I only mentioned that it cannot be shared." Rass scolded the other party as usual, saying, "But, that didn't mean it cannot be inherited."

The eyes of everyone lit up as Rass said, "My children can inherit this power."

"That'll be the secret to the success of our Royal Sect."
