I Know The Secret To Surpass Level 100

Chapter 340 - The Sin Of Wrath

With a sharp, deafening scream, Livor shook the grounds. He was sprinting in fours, approaching Tempest who was shaking in place. The Sin had a wide grin on his face as he saw the fear in the illusionist's face.

"I'm coming for you!" Livor yelled and leaped. He raised his claws, ready to pounce the much smaller man when he was suspended mid air. He looked behind him and saw that Hope was gripping his tail with his fangs. "Foolish pest!"

Hope only responded with a growl, pulling the tail as much as he could. He spun a couple of times before his sharp teeth let go of the tail, throwing Livor away into the seats.

"Oh my heavens," Tempest clutched his chest. "Hope, are you okay?"

"I am," Hope said. "But I still need some help. I wish there was someone who could help me."

While Hope and Tempest awaited for Livor's return, the Sin laid on the stone rubble, watching the skies. "This is getting annoying."

The area he crashed into was filled with dust clouds that covered him. From the outside, it was hard to identify where Livor was or what he was doing.

With a flash of a moment, the rubble burst from an explosion of force and the dust was cleared. Livor wasn't in the rubble anymore, making Hope and Tempest raise their guards. The Sin was incredibly fast and if he attacks again, one of them will surely be picked off.

Livor appeared in front of Hope, he had a terrifying expression that sends fear and despair to anyone who looked at it. "You dare hurt me, mortals. You dare hurt me!"

He raised his claws once again and this time, his nails were longer and sharper. Livor plunged his claws forward, only for a sand wall to trap it.

"W-What?" Livor tried to pull his arm back, but the sand was slowly crawling up to his shoulder. "What in the hell is this?!"

"I was late, and then all of this already happened," Johnson spoke from the top of the sand wall. It stood for twenty meters tall, double the height of the giant Sins. The wall was also thick. It pushed Hope and Tempest back while it blocked the attack from Livor.

"Mr. Johnson!" Hope cheered, seeing the Guardian cross his arms and look at the sin. "Sir, thank you."

"I realized it would be a waste to just let powerful opponents like these guys away without battling them," Johnson replied with a smirk. "I could learn a thing or two from them."

"This is what you'll learn!" Livor yelled. His arm glowed with a bright yellow color before it exploded, punching a hole in the sand wall. The Sin leaped back and regenerated his missing limb, grinning at Johnson. "It seemed like your attack ended up in vain. I'm just too powerful."

"Oh, that?" Johnson chuckled. "That wasn't an attack."

He leaped from the top of the wall and into the ground smoothly. His landing felt powerful, shaking the soil with the intense presence he was exuding.

Johnson raised his hand to the side as part of the sand wall behind him seep out and form his weapon. This time, it was a large unique-looking flail.

The handle was similar to that of a saber's handle, but instead of a blade, two chains were attached to it and fastened two large balls that had long slender thorns. The length of the flail's chain was the height from Johnson's chest, down to his knee. The balls were hanging on the ground, barely reaching the floor with its spikes.

"A peculiar choice of weapon," Livor narrowed his eyes. "And I could tell that you are a very strong individual. I might just enjoy this fight."

"Enjoy it then," Johnson said and suddenly vanished. He appeared above Livor, his weapon was swinging above him while he slowly lowered it as he descended down to Livor's level.

The Sin smirked and rolled his eyes. He raised both his hands and clutched the balls of the flail with his bare hands. He looked at Johnson, face contorting when the Guardian kept a stoic and confident expression.

"Concrete Quicksand," Johnson whispered. He let go of his weapon and dropped himself to the ground. He slammed his palms on the soil, turning it into sand that made Livor slowly sink. He then raised his hands above him, connecting his wrists and intertwining his fingers. "Sand Sphere!"

Livor's eyes widened when the flail exploded, forming a large ball of sand that contained his hands. He growled as he watched Johnson leap back, a victorious smirk plastered on the Guardian's face.

With a loud growl, Livor tried to step out of the sand in his legs. When he tried to move, he found himself trapped in a hard concrete. His hands suddenly slammed themselves into the concrete, the sands joining and locking him there.

"That is such an awkward pose," Johnson laughed. He clutched his stomach as he watched Livor bend in a ninety degree angle. The Sin's arms were still sinking down the concrete trap.

Johnson turned around and waved his hand to deactive his sand wall. When the shield was down, Hope stood there in his dragon form, eyes widening in surprise after seeing Livor sinking on the ground.

"What happened–" Hope was about to ask but stopped after realizing that no one could understand him.

"Oh, he's just binded in my trap," Johnson said. "Kian and I are very good friends, and he taught me Dracon language. Although I couldn't produce the right sounds to speak, I understand your language well and good."

"Okay, but you know that can't lock him forever," Hope said. "You have to kill him for sure."

"Kill him then," Johnson said. "That's why I lowered the walls so you could deal the final blow."

"But why?" Hope asked but still charged his attack. He opened his mouth widely and formed the sphere to prepare his powerful beam.

"My attacks couldn't kill that thing," Johnson said. "If I try to attack him, I can't kill him. I more of a support guy than an offensive type."

"Yeah, kill me!" Livor screamed. His arm now stopped sinking and he was still on all fours, with only a portion of his legs remained above the ground. All the rest of his arms and legs were binded on the floor, stuck in the concrete. "I'd rather die than see Wrath."

Johnson raised his hands to let Hope stop from firing his attack. The Guardian waved his right hand, forming large spheres of sand that surrounded Livor. "What do you mean by that? Who is thid Wrath?"

"The Seventh Sin," Livor replied. "He's the one who corrupted the Kings that had the Almighty's Blessings. He singlehandedly killed them all, along with their kingdoms."

"You mean it was you guys who attacked them?" Johnson asked. "But we heard a different story."

"It was thousands of years ago," Livor chuckled. "Stories that live up to that time is bound to be altered. But then again, here's the truth.. How Irus, the Sin of Wrath singlehandedly slaughtered the kingdoms and corrupted their people, and how he betrayed the Sins to achieve his goals."
