I Know The Secret To Surpass Level 100

Chapter 393 - Earth Master

The Earth Master is a large humanoid beetle. He has six red dots on his forehead and two more dots that was connected to a line that reached up to his horn. He wore clothes similar to Emperor Yamato, but unlike the loose sleeves of the emeperor, his sleeves were tight from the shoulders and was only wide after it reaches half the forearm.

His inner garments were white, a gray coat covered himself and a wide brown belt was wrapped around his waist, that reached up to his chest. The man wore leather sandals with a thin rock sole. Every step he takes would create a loud sound from the clash of his rock sole and the brick ground.

"Give her back to me, now," the Earth Master ordered. His voice didn't give a hint of request. The man wanted to achieve what he wanted, even if he had to use force to achieve it.

Elliot looked at the woman in his arms. Her hood was still covering the majority of her face, but his eyes could peek on the soft pale skin of her lips and her button nose.

"Is she really?" Elliot asked, not leaving his eyes on the mesmerizing beauty in front of him. "But the Amethyst Maiden wasn't like this. She was a giant glowing rock that had an enormous aura around her. The aura was massive, but you can only feel it when you get close. From outside small five-meter range, you can't feel anything."

"She's a special Maiden," the Earth Master said. He didn't say anything more, making Elliot look up and see that he was stopped when Lance and the others were barely grazing him with their swords.

The reason for their attack was the large stone thron in front of Elliot. He gulped as he watched the thorn almost reach him. "Earth Master, what is this?"

"I need to kill the Maiden," the man said. "She's a threat."

"A threat?" Elliot asked. He pulled the woman closer to him. When he saw the sharp rock formation right in front of him, he cleared his throat and carried the woman away. "Why is she a threat? She just saved us from your spell."

"That was because I used that spell to lure her out," the Earth Master reasoned. "She's a big threat, and if we don't stop her now, we can't stop her at all."

"What wrongings did this girl do?" Elliot asked, this time, he had the stern voice. He exuded aura of dominance and demand. The Earth Master was a stubborn person, but he's no better. He wanted answers, and he will get them.

The Earth Master, seeing that he had no other choice but to cooperate, sighed. "Her magic is unstable. Anytime soon, she could blow up and destroy an entire kingdom. We cannot have that. There are innocent people in all the kingdoms."

"You mean the hungry folks who are too scared to go out?" Lance scoffed, closing in his blade at the master's neck. "How dare you lead kingdoms to ruins? The people needed you, yet all of you clinged to a greater tyrannical power rather than going against."

"It's easier said than done, child," the Earth Master sighed. "If you could only face the despair and hopelessness you'll see when all of your comrades are being slaughtered right in front of you, you would understand."

"You're terrible," Elliot looked at him a with a disgusted expression. "You didn't even try for the family of your so-called comrades. You're so selfish for power!"

"Enough!" the master couldn't help the scream that escaped his lips. The force from his burst of aura made the three boys around him take a couple of steps back. This man was too great for them.

Connor didn't hesitate to throw his staff in the air. He snapped his fingers in the air, and in a blink of an eye was riding his staff. His feet were locked on the length of the staff while the weapon's head was bursting with a bright red fire.

"What power," the Earth Master whisper at himself after witnessing Connor's magic. He took a few steps back and raised both hid arms in front of him. His arms were slender and long, that he only had three claw-like fingers that had curved sharp nails.

"Giant Mountain Armor."

The Earth Master slammed his arms on the ground, making it shake. Beneath his hands, two pits were formed. Rock flowed up to his arms as though it was water. The rocks traveled up to the Earth Master's body, coating his slender figure until he was twice his size.

He now looked like a slender golem. His looks were the same, except his skin was now made of hard solid rock, and his horn was now made of gold.

"What a morph," Ed snickered. He shot a purple slash made of aura that reached the Earth Master. The aura crashed with the rock skin, making it burst into thin air like it was nothing. "Impossible!"

"What's so impossible about this?" the Earth Master mocked. "This armor was formed by magic, but it's not magic in itself. You can't dispell it with your nullification."

Ed's eyes widened in shock. "You know about me? You even know about my magic."

"You think you're so clever, young lad," the Earth Master chuckled. "You fell for our plan. When you thought you were so good at investigating us, you took all the clues we gave you with open hands."

"I knew it!" Connor suddenly yelled. "Ed only looked smart, but he's actually an idiot. Phew. Just when I thought that he was more mentally capable than I am."

"Err," the Earth Master looked at Connor with a silent gaze. The man was speechless. "That's what you got from everything I just said?"

Connor shrugged, his skin burning and his body slowly morphing. "We all know each other's capabilities. And even for a single moment, I didn't doubt my judgement on Ed's stupidity."

"Y-You…" the Earth Master trailed off.

"Hey, ugly!" Lance yelled from above him, making the Earth Master look up. "You don't know anything about our friendship."

Lance had his blades glow with black and white light. The aura from his sword was so concentrated, that it was obviously charging his attack right from the very start.

"Black and White Annihilation!"

From a castle far away from where the skirmish was, a young man sat in a high stone throne. His hair was long, reaching up to his waist and a portion of it was tied to a bun on top of his head.

His clothes were white as snow, resembling the clothing of the men from the East. It had light gold embellishments onto it that had reached all across the fabric.

"My dear emeperor," an older woman bowed in front of the man. She was wearing pink themed Eastern clothing. Her eyes and hair matched her clothes, but had a lighter shade than her outfit. "The Eyes had reported and we have found her."

"Bring her to me," the emperor said. "May the light of the Sun guide you on your way."

The woman bowed once more.. "Thank you, my dear Diamond Emperor."
