Chapter 91 - The Clash Of The Dragons Part 1
"Pathetic," Clan laughed hysterically. "My limb got cut off by a boy. And to think that I couldn't even sense him."
Lilith forced herself to stand up and crystalized her body again. "You know what's pathetic?"
"No," Clan retorted. "And if it's something about you, I honestly don't care."
"What's pathetic is that I almost gave up just because my mana got drained and see a boy got killed right in front of me," Lilith chuckled.
"I'm not dead though," Elliot sighed and slowly crawled away, taking a healing potion from his Inventory. He took his sword and crawled inside an alley.
Lilith and Clan saw this and smirks formed from their lips.
"I want to fight him," Clan grinned and launched himself to Elliot. Five crystal greatswords pierced the ground in front of him.
"Like I'd let you," Lilith said, conjuring crystal weapons and firing them all towards Clan. The man used his remaining hand and swiped up, creating dark gray claw marks in the air that blocked all the projectile.
Lilith had leaped on top the roof of a house with five crystal swords with the colors of the Five Palaces forming a star in front of her. By the pommel of the swords where they met was a large multi-colored sphere that was gaining energy from the swords.
"Deathly Blast!"
The sphere fired into a beam that was targeting Clan. He chuckled and leaned down to pick his arm up but it wasn't there anymore.
"What?" He looked around and failed to see his missing limb along with Elliot.
'Sudden quest [ Take the Dragon's Arm ] finished.'
'Rewards are now in your Inventory.'

// In your Manual lies a special recipe for the dragon's arm you took. Craft the item. ]
"At least it's not eyeballs. That would be impossible," Elliot said to himself as he hid behind a brick house. His teammates went missing after Lilith's appearance as well as the dragons that he heard from under the bricks too.
"Where is everyone?" Elliot asked, opening his Manual to look for the recipe.
<< Supreme Dragon Emperor Immunity Crest >>
Recipe:
Supreme Dragon Emperor Human Form Forelimb X1
Palace Guard Eye X4
"You better take the eye from any palace and not with a specific color," Elliot sighed and had no other choice but to sacrifice the Palace Guard's eyes. He wasn't even sure if he had use for them anyway.
'<< Supreme Dragon Emperor Imunity Crest >> crafting.'
'Crafting will end in 17 hours.'
"F*ck," Elliot couldn't help but curse. "Am I still alive after that? My HP is depleting here, what the f*ck?!"
He laid on the wall of the brick house he got behind of. With a heavy gritting of his teeth, he consumed more healing potions.
He listened to the explosions coming from the streets and the houses. Lilith was still battling Clan and as seconds passed, her movements only got slower.
Elliot was still panting from the pain of the tear on the side of the stomach. It was a big wound and the potions he took barely regenerated it.
"This item better be worth it," Elliot said and forced himself to stand and walk. He felt his wound open up but if he stayed there for long, he'd be killed. Especially once Clan notices him.
He somehow found himself in the a abandoned home he was kidnapped to. With another sigh, continued walking. With the pain he felt, he couldn't help but fall down to his knees and chuckle in hopelessness.
"This is pathetic," he said. "I'm pathetic."
"You stupid–" he heard Lance behind him and felt arms carry him. "We were looking everywhere for you, you crazy bastard."
"Elliot, damn, that must be painful," Ed seethed after seeing the wound Elliot got. "Why did you interfere, man?"
"Because the Manual wanted me to." Was what Elliot wanted to say. But then again, he couldn't tell anyone about the existence of the manual.
He was trapped inside the secret of the Manual. He was nothing but a slave who did all its bidding. It was as if the Manual was using him for its own entertainment.
But then again, he was also using the manual. He was using it for him to get stronger, for him to live his dream, and fulfill the promise he made to his poor mother who sacrificed so many for his sake.
"Next time you want to die, let me kill you," Lance warned. "Crazy bastard fighting someone who a Guardian could barely keep up to."
"I'm sorry," Elliot chuckled, his voice coming out raspy and croaked.
Silence filled them as they ran towards the edge of the barrier. There, he saw the dragons huddling in a circle and firing their majestic beams to form something.
"What are they doing?" Elliot asked. Lance put him on the ground with the blanket Ed got from one of the houses.
"Forming the Dragon Spire," Lance said. Elliot took a closer look and saw two smaller dragons with red and blue scales. "The smaller ones are the Heir to the Dragon Emperor title of Flame and Water. They needed all Dragons to create the spire."
"What does it do?" Elliot sat up but he was pushed back gently by Lance.
"Stay there," Lance warned. "The Dragon Spire would make the Heir of the Supreme Dragon Emperor multiply his strength to challenge his predecessor."
"Dragon Emperor?" Elliot scrunched his eyebrows and gasped. "Hope! Where's Hope?"
A roar interrupted Elliot's thoughts. It was a roar of pain.
He pushed Lance's arm away and took a look at the middle of where the dragons' beams met.
"Hope!" he tried to yell but it got out as a croak instead. "What is he doing?"
"Elliot, this is his destiny," Lance said and held Elliot. "It has been written in their scrolls. A Rogue Eternal who will eat his kin will be challenged by the Heir who was lost because of the unforgivable sin."
"Rogue? Sin? Lance, what are you talking about?" Elliot forced himself to stop the dragons but ropes made of black and white aura started to grow from the ground and held him.
"Listen well, Hope's mother is the White Dragon Empress. That dragon is his father who killed his brother, the previous Heir of Dracon Realm and married the Empress," Lance started. "The White Dragon Emperor was pregnant with the True Heir who Clan killed and she hid it from him. She gave birth to an egg secretly and Clan is under a delusion that Hope is his son."
"But why was Hope in the hands of Pentos?" Elliot asked.
"The Empress sought help," Lance replied. "She somehow knew someone from Pentos, and they said that member was from another Realm who would frequently travel to other Realms."
"But will Hope really fight Clan?" Elliot asked with pleading eyes.
Lance nodded, "Of course."
Connor walked over with a woman who had a wand pointed at Elliot. She cleared her throat and casted her spell.
"Full Recovery."
Elliot's body glowed with a yellow green color and his wound started to heal up. He felt his HP and MP replenish.
"What are you doing?" Elliot asked as the ropes Lance put around him loosen.
Lance offered his hand which Elliot took. "Lance–"
The Spire the dragons created burst with Hope inside. Elliot gasped but sighed after seeing Hope in his dragon form.
"Wait, he grew even larger now," Ed cheered. "One of these days, we're gonna ride in his back."
"Hope is gonna face Clan," Lance said, looking at Elliot while brandishing his swords.. "But he's not gonna do it alone."
