Chapter 132: 5.34 First Violet Star - You'll meet him when I brought you home.
Chapter 132: 5.34 First Violet Star – You’ll meet him when I brought you home.
“Are you that happy, Jing’er?” asked Meizhou.
A sweet smile appeared on Xuebao’s lips and said, “Yes! A’Xia, I’m very happy!” he replied with a joyous tone Meizhou had never heard from his wife before.
Meizhou asked with a doting smile, “Why?”
“A’Xia, you don’t know how hard it is for my bloodline to have descendants. I am the only young descendant for tens of millennia to exist but even my birth is not natural. It is very hard for our bloodline to have children. My grandparents spend 20 millennia for my daddy to be born. It took another 50 millennia for my uncle to be born and it took another 20 millennia for my aunt to be born. Afterwards my grandparents never had any more children after my aunt was born. My Mo Family consists of only my grandparents and they’re three children. Only I was born in the last few hundred years. But my parents were both men and my daddy doesn’t wish to conceive naturally which is why I am created artificially by the combination of two genes for my daddy and father. Even the fusion of genes between two High ranking Gods is close to impossible and I am the only one who lived.” Explained Xuebao.
This is the first time Xuebao told him anything about his family especially that regal hidden family called Mo. No one knows what kind of family the Mo Clan is. They were famous enough not only because the members were all high ranking Gods and almost unparalleled against others. Not only that The God System and Nether System were all created by the Mo Clan. Rumors say that they have a connection with the Origin God which is the God of Creation Siwang.
Meizhou curiosity had gone over his head and said, “Baby, can I ask you about your family? If you’re not allowed to tell me you don’t need to give me an answer though.”
“Go ask away. You’ve already impregnated me. Do you think you can escape meeting them in the future? Even if you escape you will be captured in a few hours by my big uncle anyway. Hmp!” said Xuebao.
“??? O-Okay. Then I heard the rumors about your Mo Clan having connection with the Origin. I mean with the Creation God, is this true?” asked Meizhou.
There’s a clear reluctance, hidden fear and regret when Meizhou finished his question. Seeing this reaction Xuebao couldn’t help but teased his husband. Meizhou is obviously afraid of the Creation God for some unknown reason.
“Are you afraid of the Creation God?” Asked Xuebao with his phoenix eyes squinting at Meizhou.
Meizhou gulps in nervousness as he tries averting his eyes only for his wife to grab his chin and force him to look at him. He could even see the gentle smile on his wife’s face but those eyes were showing mirth as it observed him. Clearly his wife is teasing him. But he is really afraid, that is the Creation God. The Strongest among all Gods and the Origin of all things.
“A-A bit. Isn’t it because it was him who created us?” said Meizhou.
When Xuebao heard this answer he tilted his head and replied, “Well~ that may be true about you but… my bloodline isn’t created by him. We’re the same as him. Created by nothingness and didn’t know how we exist. Ah~ I’m not supposed to tell anyone of that. My love forget about what you heard just now~”
Meizhou was shocked with what he heard. Even when his wife just told him that his bloodline isn’t created by the origin but exists the same way as the God of Creation instead.
Thoughts of Meizhou : ‘Doesn’t that make the Mo Clan and even unique existence? Is this the reason why their authority in the worlds is even above the heavenly laws made by the God of Creation?!’
“My love? Do you still need to know what is the connection of the Mo Clan to the God of Creation?” asked Xuebao nonchalantly as he turned over and leaned his back on his husband’s chest while grabbing his hands to have him rub his tummy.
Meizhou who was still stunned but at the same time super curious replied, “Yes. Can I know it?”
“Sure~ You would be family in the future anyway. By that time you would be meeting him frequently anyway. He lives in our house.” said Xuebao.
With a face turning ashen in shock and disbelief, Meizhou spoke, “H-He lives… in your house?”
“Yes. After all Uncle Siwang is my uncle’s other half. They’ve been together for at least… Hm~ let me count. 1. 2. 3. ha? Oh~ 5. 6 Millennia if I remembered it right. Moreover the whole family lives together. After I bring you home you would be meeting Big Uncle at home anyway. I’m giving you a heads up now.” said Xuebao.
Meizhou asked while stuttering, “T-Then… y-your uncle is…??”
“My Uncle is the God of Life and Death. Mo Baojun. There aren’t many who used the surname of Mo. Only my clan does. Did you not know?” asked Xuebao.
“I… This is my first time even hearing the God of Life and Death’s name.” murmured Meizhou gloomily.
Meizhou’s expression turned grim as he thought of his future when he met his wife’s family. Even System Yue who was listening silently in the corner couldn’t help but feel bad for his Lord God.
Seeing his husband’s depressed expression made Xuebao completely amused.
“What are you scared of? Your strength is enough to match mine before. You would be stronger than me in the future.” whispered silently by Xuebao but no one else but him heard his words. He murmured it in gibberish that even Meizhou didn’t completely understand what he had said.
“Baby, did you say something?” asked Meizhou as he happily rubbed his wife’s tummy.
“I said you are so silly! I’m hungry. I want to eat egg dumplings, strawberries and mooncakes!!!” said Xuebao.
Meizhou who heard his wife’s craving could only leave him for a bit and make all those requests for food. He had to make it with his own hand and used the things in the system instead of the ones in this world. Their child will most like be a born deity or a God. Which means normal ingredients would be useless to consume. He needs to use the ones with pure energy.
After cooking all his wife’s crave food, he started serving his wife like an ancestor. Afraid that he might slip, Meizhou constantly supports him wherever Xuebao goes. He acted like a tail behind his wife the whole time. The next morning when the tribe heard about their leader’s awakening from his sleep, they all celebrated happily for the whole day. They’ve spent the rest of the days happily inside the cave while waiting for the storm to pass.
The last week of the month had passed and the snowstorm had quietly dissipated. The bright sun had finally shown itself after these two weeks of only dark clouds which brought them endless snow and ice. At the end of the week the Ice dome that protects them from the storm had melted slowly under the sun resulting in a short rain and huge rainbow.
In front of the huge cave were countless beastmen children playing with snow while bundled up with clothes. They were throwing snow at each other. Somewhere creating snowmen under Tuzi’s lead. while some other females were making preparation for today’s lunch. Today is the day that some warrior would return to their tribe’s original campsite to check on the damage the snow had caused. The one leading is obviously Meizhou and Xuebao. Serving beside them is Sheya and Shizi. Half of the elders led by the former tribe leader, Zhubao, are also coming with them. Tuzi and his two partners were tasked to stay in the cave to look after the tribe with the other half of the elder lead by Priest Linshe.
Priest Linshe said, “Oh~ please be extremely careful on your way. Even if the storm had ended there are still some wild beasts awake at this time.”
“We will be careful. Elder Linshe I will leave the tribe matters for you to handle. We should be back before lunch is made if nothing happens.” said Xuebao while being carried by Meizhou on his shoulders.
Meizhou can’t carry him on his back in fear of his tummy getting squashed nor he could be carried in princess style as Xuebao doesn’t wish to because he couldn’t move properly in that way. Which ended up with Xuebao being carried like a child on Meizhou’s shoulder instead.
“Leader. Please leave it to this old man. We will make sure to prepare delicious lunch for your return!” said Priest Linshe with a proud grin on his old face.
“Old Lin, make some roasted pig for this old man!” said Zhubao.
Priest Linshe frowned when he heard that old friend’s request. He still remembers this old bugger jumped on him and broke his nose a few weeks ago. If someone still remembers that Zhubao jumped on one of the elder from the former Soleil Tribe then this old man happens to the the elder Zhubao had beaten up during that chaos.
“Hmp! We’ll prepare it but not cook it right away! It might turn to ice popsicle if it wasn’t eaten as soon it was cooked.” said Linshe.
Zhubao, “Hahaha~ that is also true.”
Then laughter spreads within the tribe. Seeing this two elders bickering had become a daily event anyway. Afterwards the scout team had left the forest intending to return to their former territory. They’ve first visited the land where the campsite of the former Lune Tribe resides. It took them 20 minutes to reach the place.
After arriving in the place, everyone was surprised by the scene they had witnessed. In the former campsite of Lune Tribe there is nothing but small mountains of pure white snow. The small caves and tents from before, their farmland and even the frozen pond can no longer be seen on site. Only a wide spence of snow is in front of them. The whole former campsite of the Lune Tribe had been buried under the snow.
Zhubao uttered in shocked, “T-This… This is! What the hell?! Our campsite is buried under the snow. What in the world happened here?!” he exclaimed in disbelief.
“This… where did all this snow come from?” murmured Priest Anbao as he surveyed around the area. Now that most of their former tents were buried under the snow the only thing that was in front of them was a small pile of snow mountains.
Xuebao explained who had speculated what happened and explained it to the elders with him. He had noticed that the piled up snow at the highest peak of the mountain had thinned then based on the scene before him he could conjured what happened in their territory.
The Solune Tribe Leader spoke, “A disaster caused by nature. Because of the continued snowstorm coupled up with strong winds and hail, the snow piled up to it’s limit then fell from the peak because of the powerful breeze causing this event. This is a natural disaster called an avalanche.” explained Xuebao.
“Just based on what happened in our land this can only mean those tribes at the foot of the mountain suffered more.” said Meizhou as a continuation to his wife’s conjectures.
Priest Anbao murmured, “Over piled up snow from the peak of the mountain falling over. Then the River and Mountain Tribes at the foot of the mountain are!!?”
“They must have suffered casualties.” said Shizi.
Sheya added up, “Not a simple as just few casualties, the possibilities of them getting buried alive is higher.”
After everyone heard the possible results the elders like Zhubao and Priest Anbao had ugly expression on their faces. If it is not because Xuebao had prepared that cave for them to live in, then their only option is to go down at the foot of the mountain and seek shelter from a friend tribe. If they had really chosen that option then their tribe would be added to those casualties than are now buried under the snow. As they’ve expected the trials from the Beast God is never simple. They might have prevented the demise of their own clan but the others couldn’t.
With a dark expression on their faces, “I will gather few warriors and go down the mountain tomorrow. I wish to visit the Mountain Tribe.” said Zhubao.
“High Elder, if you would allow please let me join you in that journey. I would like to visit the River Tribe as well.” said Shizi.
“I would like to come as well to gather information for the tribe leader. Please allow me to come as us.” said Sheya.
Zhubao looked at the young couple who work as his children’s support most of the time. He nodded his head in agreement to their request.
“Okay. Make your preparations tonight. We will leave at dawn.” said Zhubao.
“Thank you, High Elder.” said Shizi and Sheya respectfully.
Meizhou looked at Shizi and said, “Are you still going to go see your former land?”
“Our former tribe is located just few meters away from here. Based on the direction of the avalanche, it would be hit on its way down. It must have gotten buried in the same way. There is no need to check.” replied Shizi.
Xuebao said, “Since it is like this. There is nothing more we could do. We will return to the tribe ahead of time. That land around that cave shall become our new territory instead. I will lay out the clearance plan for the new territory of our Solune Tribe.”
This time everyone agrees to Xuebao’s plan unconditionally. Seeing the current state of their former territory it will be easier to look for another land to choose as their territory than to clean up this small pile of snow mountain.
“Let’s return!” said Meizhou.
Everyone walks back slowly to where the cave is. This time their steps were slow and solemn due to what they have scene.
