Chapter 74: I don’t want to give my aunt
After Shishio and Nana decided to join the literature club, they talked to each other about what the literature club would do and the schedule of the club.
Miu told them that the club would be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, two days a week, after school, and she told her that they would mostly read a book, gather together, and discuss each other about a book, in other words, they were mostly free.
“This club is really free,” Nana said with a speechless expression since she didn’t expect that the literature club would be free and there was nothing to do besides reading a book and discussing a book.
“Yes, there isn’t much to do at the literature club, but during the school festival, we might create a journal so I hope that you can be prepared at that time,” Kiriya said.
“Aye! Aye! Sensei!” Nana said with a smile.
Kiriya nodded and said, “By the way, it is good if you want to bring a TV or a game console, but you should play it in consideration.”
“Thank you very much!” Nana smiled brightly then she pulled Shishio’s hand and said, “When there is a game console, let’s have a duel!”
“Sure.” Shishio nodded and asked, “Should I give you a handicap?”
Nana snorted and said, “I should be the one who is saying that! I will give you a handicap so you won’t lose so quickly!”
“Let’s make a bet at that time to make it more interesting,” Shishio said.
“Sure, let’s do it!” Nana smiled then looked at Miu and asked, “Senpai, how about you? Have you played a game?”
“What?”
Miu was a bit jealous when she saw both Shishio and Nana talking so closely, but when she was asked so suddenly, she nodded her head gently and said, “Yes, my little brother has a game console at home.”
“Then let’s play a game together! The loser has to receive a punishment!” Nana said cheerfully.
Miu was speechless and looked at Nana with a slight complaint, “But Sunohara-san, this is a literature club, not a game research club.”
“Senpai, even though we might seem to be playing a game, but in truth, we’re also doing an activity for the literature club,” Shishio said.
“Huh?”
Nana and Miu were confused when they heard that playing a game was a part of the activity of the literature club.
“To create a game someone needs to write a game plan and they also need to write the script for the game story, so in truth, a game is also a fine literature work but with a different media,” Shishio said smoothly.
Kiriya smiled and said, “That’s true, especially on the RPG game and “galge”, you need to have a good story if you want to make a good game.”
Nana was a bit surprised and asked, “Sensei, did you also play a game?”
“Yes.” Kiriya nodded and said, “But I don’t play much since I mostly read books during my free time.” He then looked at Shishio and said, “You have said that you want to bring a wooden sword and guitar, right? If I am not wrong, there should be both a guitar and a wooden sword in the school warehouse, you can bring it here if you want.” He knew that both Shishio and Nana weren’t bad children and he thought that he could trust them, or rather, even if the literature club became a den of delinquent, he thought that it was also a good challenge for him to reform a group of delinquents into a group of bookworms, but of course, Shishio, Nana, and Miu didn’t know what he was thinking. “If I’m not wrong, there should be a TV too, I’ll ask permission to bring it to the clubroom on Thursday.”
“Thank you, Sensei.” 2x
Shishio nodded with a smile and it felt great to borrow those two things from the school.
Nana was also happy that she didn’t need to bring the TV to the school, but then she asked, “Why do you need a guitar?”
“Can you play the guitar, Oga-kun?” Miu asked.
“It is just my hobby during my free time, so I will play it if I have free time,” Shishio said.
“With your appearance, I am sure that it’ll be very easy for you if you decide to become a singer,” Kiriya said with a smile.
“….”
Shishio was speechless, but he didn’t say much, only smiled wryly, after all, it wasn’t uncommon for someone to show an interest in the music in this school, especially when this school focussed on art.
“By the way, Sensei, what’s your pen name for your novel?” Shishio asked. It was almost the end of their club activity, but he almost forgot to ask this question.
“My pen name is You Hasukawa,” Kiriya said with a smile.
“What?!”
Miu was startled, but this reaction caused both Nana and Shishio to become confused since neither of them had read that much of the book.
“Is Sensei famous, Senpai?” Shishio asked.
“He’s very famous!” Miu quickly told who was “You Hasukawa” and what kind of book that Kiriya had written along with the total sales.
Shishio looked at Kiriya and wondered why Chihiro hadn’t made a move on Kiriya since Chihiro was so eager to get married. He also had to admit that this teacher was quite handsome and gentle, being a teacher also gave him a stable job, but Kiriya was also a famous writer, which made him also a good stock to become a husband candidate.
When Miu wanted to keep talking, Kiriya stopped her since it was the end of their club activity and he told them that they would see each other again on Tuesday.
When they were coming out, Shishio couldn’t help but ask, “Sensei, are you married?” His question aroused curiosity among everyone.
Kiriya smiled and said, “No, I am single, what’s wrong? Are you interested in me?”
“…”
Shishio was speechless, but for him, who had seen a lot of things in the past few days, it felt like a warm breeze when he knew that Kiriya might be gay, but for Nana and Miu, both of them were in shock.
Nana quickly stood in front of Shishio, tried to protect him, and Miu looked at Kiriya with a complicated expression.
Shishio wanted to ask whether Kiriya wanted to date his aunt, but somehow, he was reluctant to say so.
Even though he had said that he was tempted by his aunt, after all, his aunt was his mother’s little sister and their appearance was quite similar to each other, and there was no way that he could cross the river to date his aunt, right?
If Shishio dared to do so, then it would be incest, even though he didn’t mind it, it was different for his aunt since she might be targeted and being talked by people for seducing him, after all, in this society, when an older woman and a younger guy dated to each other, without doubt, most people would think that it was the fault of the older woman, thinking that the older woman might have seduced the naive younger guy, that’s how it works in society.
Especially when the relationship between Shishio and Chihiro was between nephew and aunt which was why he thought to recommend Kiriya who was single to date his aunt.
Shishio thought that Kiriya was a pretty good guy, and he thought that Kiriya would be suitable for his aunt, but when he was about to say that, he stopped since he wasn’t sure why he felt uncomfortable by it.
Shishio might be able to date Chihiro, but he couldn’t give her a marriage which something that Chihiro had always wanted so he thought that it was better for Chihiro to be with a different guy and even though he always flirted with his aunt, he really didn’t have any ideas with her since he knew very well that a family was pretty much forbidden.
‘But still, why do I feel uncomfortable by it?’
Shishio shook his head and threw all his useless thought.
“I’m just asking if you’re single, then it is alright, you don’t need to make such a joke Sensei,” Shishio said with a speechless expression.
Kiriya smiled and said, “I was just joking around, you don’t need to take it seriously Ashihara-kun, Sunaharo-kun.” He smiled at two girls, who seemed to protect Shishio like their lives depending on it. “See you on Thursday.”
Shishio looked at Kiriya’s back and didn’t expect that this teacher could say such a joke, but if Kiriya really swung that way, he could only say sorry for him since he was normal. He then noticed Miu’s complicated reaction. “What’s wrong, Ashihara-senpai?”
“Huh?” Miu was startled and asked, “What do you mean, Oga-kun?”
“It might be my hunch, but do you have a feeling for Kiriya-sensei?” Shishio asked.
“What?!” Nana was startled and looked at Miu in surprise.
“Ugh…”
Miu was startled, but she quickly shook her head and was about to refute it. She might feel grateful toward Kiriya, but she didn’t feel him that way so she quickly said, “No, I don’t like Sensei!” She didn’t want to be misunderstood by the boy in front of him after all, and she was wondering how he thought that she had a feeling for Kiriya-sensei, which made her a bit offended.
Looking at Miu’s reaction, Shishio thought that he might have teased her too much and he might really misunderstand her.
“I am sorry Senpai, I might have said too much and it is my misunderstanding,” Shishio apologized and admitted directly that he was wrong.
On Miu’s cheeks, there was a tint of red blush which made her cuter, and said, “It’s alright if you understand.” Unlike before, when she talked quite nervously, she could talk freely with him without stuttering right now, but she still talked very with him, but she was still very polite. She was also quite pleased that the misunderstanding was solved.
“By the way, Senpai, can I call you Miu-senpai? You can call my name directly too,” Shishio suddenly said since he felt uncomfortable calling her “Ashihara-senpai” all the time.
“Huh?” Miu was a bit surprised.
“You can call me Nana too,” Nana said with a smile.
Miu looked at Shishio and Nana for a bit and nodded with a smile. “Yes, Shishio-kun, Nana-san.” After all, she would be lying if she didn’t feel jealous when both Nana and Shishio called each other by their first names.
“It’s Nana, Miu-senpai,” Nana said.
Miu was a bit shy so she continued with “Nana-san”.
They continued to talk and exchanged contacts, walking to the entrance of the school, talking about where they lived until Shishio noticed a group of luxurious sedans that were parked nearby suddenly moved in front of him, and attracted everyone’s attention.
Miu and Nana weren’t sure, but they felt slightly nervous so they stood close to Shishio.
Shishio didn’t move and waited until the dark window on one of them cars was opened which made him surprised to see who was inside. “Tomari-san?”
“Shishio, can you come with me? I want to talk with you for a bit,” Togo said, ignoring two girls beside Shishio.
