Chapter 360 - Creation Of A New Recipe Completed, It’s A Pair Of Chopsticks!
Chapter 360 Creation Of A New Recipe Completed, It’s A Pair Of Chopsticks!
When Su Yang was writing the final plan, he really could not think of anything else.
He had been racking his brains for half a month, but he still couldn’t save Lin Jiali. Hence, he decided to just go with the flow and wrote down whatever he thought would help maintain Lin Jiali’s reputation instead of improving it.
For example, no matter what kind of movie or television drama Su Yang was involved in, he would arrange for Lin Jiali to have either a supporting role or a lead role. He wanted to make her his company’s mascot.
For example, after Su Yang’s career gets developed, he could exchange resources with other companies in the entertainment industry, allowing Lin Jiali to continue acting as either roles in other shows.
For example, Su Yang could hire famous and well-reputed celebrities within the industry to act as Lin Jiali’s supporting role.
It was a simple plan. To put it bluntly, it was all about spending money and points.
At this point, Little Hus was still unconvinced. That would indicate Lin Jiali would not be able to become famous despite the amount of investment made on her.
Just as Su Yang was about to give up, he suddenly came up with an idea and decided to create a character for Lin Jiali. It was a character that would never become popular no matter how hard they tried.
According to his plan, Lin Jiali was going to be a character from a wealthy family. She was pursuing her career in the entertainment industry solely because of her dream and passion of being a celebrity.
She was very hardworking yet naive, constantly dreaming of being a celebrity despite her lack of potential. However, her family continued to invest in her thanks to their wealth and influence, all so that she could be happy. Just like that! A character with a contrasting image was created!
The reason why he came up with such a persona was because Su Yang thought of himself whilst creating it.
He had managed to manipulate quite a few people with his background back in Shanghai, even Young Master Ying had been tricked into giving him 10 million. He felt that if he used that persona to create Lin Jiali’s character, she would be able to intimidate foes while her fans would think that she was innocent, interesting.
Furthermore, Lin Jiali’s character would prove useful for him once it was created.

Previously, Su Yang was merely putting up a strong front. If things were not resolved quickly, there would definitely be suspicions aroused. However, with the addition of Lin Jiali, those who were suspicious would become slightly worried if Su Yang was really just a puppet which would explain his actions of bringing up Lin Jiali to fame on behalf of her family.
Su Yang felt that it was interesting whilst he was writing. However, when he re-read the script after he was done, he found it to be boring instead.
‘Is the character really that interesting?
‘It seems like he’s making a spy movie…
‘Will the fans like it?’
In the end… When the plan was completed, Little Hus’s eyes were wide open, saying that the plan was giving off a very strong and pleasant aroma!
Su Yang looked at the plan and then looked back at Little Hus. He suspected that something was wrong with Little Hus’s nose. “The plan is actually interesting? Is playing the big boss the current trend?’
Su Yang, who was puzzled, gave Little Deeny a copy of the plan for her to analyze.
After Little Deeny analyzed the data, she actually agreed with Little Hus’s judgment.
In her opinion, Lin Jiali’s character was supposed to be a gorgeous lady, but she was distant and unlikable. Furthermore, she seemed more of a bitch than the gorgeous lady she was supposed to be due to her poor acting skills.
However, the moment it had been combined with the plan, the character had left a deep impression.
An ordinary passerby would subconsciously associate her name with “the unpopular celebrity”. However, their ability to remember that persona would signify that Lin Jiali was already “popular”. After all, it was a form of gaining popularity when the audiences recognized her and left an impression within them.
Apart from that, her character profile also included that she was pretty, had an influential background and was very hardworking despite her lack of talent. This could also be an attractive point for others and she might even be able to accumulate another group of fans.
In conclusion, the entire plan had a very high success rate.
The only problem was… How much points could Su Yang invest?
Su Yang pondered for a moment. He did not have any detailed data on how much he should invest. He definitely would not risk his career for Lin Jiali. However, if a suitable opportunity shows up, Su Yang felt that he could bring along this amusing female celebrity.
After reading through the plan, Lin Jiali looked at Su Yang with a contempted expression. “This… is the plan you came up with for me?”
Su Yang nodded. “It’s not just me. The company has already confirmed that this would be your future persona.” Su Yang was right though, the company was his and he was free to do whatever he pleased…
Lin Jiali was in a daze as she said, “But… will people really like this?”
Su Yang shrugged. “Why would you care about that? Isn’t it enough as long as you’re famous?”
Lin Jiali nodded dumbly, unable to contradict his statement.
Su Yang patted her shoulders. “You have to trust me.”
Lin Jiali looked at Su Yang and almost cried.
Su Yang did not have time to hang around with foolish female celebrity before him. He was in a hurry to buy the ingredients for the formula.
Furthermore, he was only her friend and was not her father. Helping her within his capabilities would suffice.
If she was willing to accept it, then he would try to promote her. Otherwise, That would mean that she did not deserve to be popular in that life and Su Yang would merely drop the idea.
At the thought of this, Su Yang left the despondent Lin Jiali in his office so that she could think about it. In the meantime, he left the office with Pan Zhaodi to continue with his shopping There were not many ingredients required for the recipe this time, so Su Yang took note of everything except money and gave it to Pan Zhaodi to acquire everything. Meanwhile, he was dragged to the bank by the chauffeur. When he arrived at the bank, Su Yang approached the counter and bought a 20g silver bar.
Although the system only required 10g, Su Yang felt that it would be better for him to keep some for backup.
After buying the silver bar, Su Yang instructed for the chauffeur to drive him back to the hotel.
After entering his room, Su Yang fiddled with the silver bar while calling out to the system and began to familiarize himself with the crafting process. After reading it a few times, Pan Zhaodi finally returned.
She brought along a small bag of stuff and knocked on Su Yang’s door.
Su Yang opened the door and took the things. He then reminded her not to disturb him that day before closing the door.
Although she did not understand why Su Yang needed so many unusual items and even forbade her from disturbing him, Pan Zhaodi did not ask too many questions which was one of her merits.
Therefore, she nodded and returned to her room, deciding that as long as Su Yang did not look for her, she would not disturb him. “Oh… if you’re hungry, order some takeout.”
After returning to his room, Su Yang locked the door behind him and drew the curtains in full alert. He went to the bathroom and took Deeny out before placing him onto the hotel’s bathrobe. Then, he clicked on the (Virtual Space] icon on his phone app. With a flash of green light, he entered the Virtual Space.
Upon arriving at the virtual space, Su Yang brought his stuff to the front yard and placed everything on the ground. He went through the crafting video once more and he clicked on ‘Production’ after confirming that there were no problems.
As soon as Su Yang clicked on (Produce), there was a loud bang in the courtyard. A worktable filled with items appeared before Su Yang.
There were tweezers, crucibles, welding guns, two sets of molds etc. on the table. It looked a little complicated.
Su Yang fixed his eyes on the video before him. Then, according to the system notification, he placed the silver bar he bought into the crucible and heated it up with the welding torch.
After heating it up for a while, Su Yang added 5g of Borax. The Borax would dissolve the oxidation on the surface of the silver, making it purer and thus melting the silver faster.
With the addition of Borax, the silver quickly melted.
Su Yang poured the melted silver into the first rectangular mold and pressed it down. Soon, the silver cooled and formed into a rectangular silver piece.
After a green tick jumped out of the system, Su Yang took out the silver piece with a pair of tweezers and heated it up with a welding torch. It was said that this was the annealing process which could reduce the natural toughness of the silver itself and improve its elasticity and formability of the silver, allowing the chemical composition within the silver to be evenly distributed.
Finally, Su Yang placed the silver into the crucible once again and added the exploded fragments of little monster beans that he had prepared earlier before continuing to heat it up.
When the silver and the exploded fragments of the little monster bean merged, Su Yang took out the glimmering pot of silver and poured it into the second mold which had two small rods.
As the silver cooled, Su Yang took out the two small rods and threw them into the water that contained alum. He then started to heat them up and boiled them.
After cooking for half an hour, the system prompted Su Yang that he has completed that procedure and he took out a shrunken pair of chopsticks before cooling them down.
After cooling down, he took out the sandpaper that Pan Zhaodi had bought and began to polish it.
This was the most time-consuming step. Su Yang sat on the ground and looked at the sky as he polished.
The sky was still foggy, so they could not see what was happening outside. They did not know what other secrets were hidden inside the virtual space.
After three hours of polishing, Su Yang felt as though his hands were bleeding. Finally… the long awaited green tick had been issued by the system. Aside from the green tick, there was a system notification. [Item creation is complete. Please submit the recipe.]
The recipe was finally completed! Su Yang slightly shed tears of joy!
‘It’s been almost half a month since my latest creation! Finally, I’ve managed to obtain another special item.’
Suppressing his excitement, Su Yang looked at the system interface in front of him and pressed (Submit).
Three notifications popped up in front of him:
[Incomplete Materials detected]
[More precious materials detected.]
[Special items will give birth to additional abilities, talents, or other unknown changes. Confirm submission?]
Su Yang, who already knew about the notifications, clicked (Confirm) without hesitation.
Instantly, the silver chopsticks, the work table and all the items on it disappeared into thin air.
A moment later, two silver chopsticks that looked like the size of a matchstick fell from the sky. Two crisp sounds were heard as the chopsticks landed on the ground…
