He stood there calmly and confidently, which made the Snake King doubt his judgment. The latter said, "Humph. The Snake King laughed coldly.
The latter was quick to guess that the person next to Wang Ke was an impostor. Even so, he merely built his argument with the evidence at hand.

"Boss, please don’t be angry. You’re free to travel however you like, no one should gossip about it. By right, the Snake King shouldn’t be kept alive! He belongs to the Divine Dragon Branch after all. Why don’t I teach him a lesson first? To vent your anger?" Wang Ke asked the Demon Sovereign.
The latter looked at Wang Ke in a daze. You are merely at the Innate Stage! Bluff away if you want! Are you serious about fighting the snake head on? You must be joking. The Snake King is as strong as a pinnacle Golden Core cultivator! Adding his demonic beast’s physique, his raw power even surpasses the Golden Core! Are you trying to dig your own grave?

The Snake King looked at the two doubtfully. Freeze the water?
The Demon Sovereign nodded.
