Finally, Hiro returned alone after leaving the guild base. Spyro had fallen asleep in his robe from waiting too long. This time, he had to work hard again and use the cheat buff he had got from Alice before the cheat activated its self-destruction.

Hiro decided to start using the buff to collect 15 crazy orc hearts, which were special items he needed to change his job class level to advance. The crazy orcs monsters roamed around that place.

The forest was named ‘Black Forest’. Based on the name, Hiro could imagine how dark that place would be.

The Black Forest was located in the west of the Beginner Town. Not that far from the base of the Everlasting guild. Hiro only needed to walk a few meters to enter the forest, which made him reminisce about the wild boar family who became his first grinding monster while still playing in the CBT version.

He couldn’t see the monsters running around because the forest was packed with trees. However, he sensed a strange feeling. That was when he realized a pair of eyes were watching him ever since he entered that very dark forest.

“Alice, did you see something suspicious?”

Hiro pulled out his sword as he became more and more certain that something was indeed watching him.

Hiro’s eyes quickly moved towards the source of the sound. And he immediately used [Demon’s eyes] to see what couldn’t be seen.

On his left side, two meters away from his place, there was a huge figure with a bloated belly that could be seen exhaling hot breaths from his nostrils, while hiding in the gap between two trees with trunks overgrown with moss and lichens. The creature had red eyes that glowed in the dark like a mecha.

“Got you!”

Hiro dashed to the place where the monster prepared to ambush him while swinging his sword vigorously.

The monster wasn’t fast enough to dodge Hiro’s sudden attack.

With a single slash of the Blood-Eater Vampire’s sword across its bare chest, the monster was brought down.

That monster had a green body that looked very sturdy. It also had a pair of canines sticking out of its mouth. Its pointed tip curving upwards like a wild boar.

It growled and swung a black-spiked mace at Hiro with its right hand.

Bang!

Hiro managed to block the attack with the blade of his sword before sending a powerful kick towards the orc’s stomach.

“Ugh!”

The monster was thrown backwards. Its back hit a tree trunk so hard that the fruit on the tree fell down. The monster seemed to get angrier. Even the red colour in its eyes gradually got darker, as if it showed the level of anger.

“Orcs!!”All of a sudden, the monster suddenly roared. Its voice was reflected by the trees in the forest so Hiro could hear it repeatedly in his ears.

One second after the voice dissipated, Hiro could hear the rumbling sounds from all directions moving towards him.

“Calling for help, huh?” Hiro was mocking the monster in front of him.

“Be ready, Hiro.” Even Alice felt that danger was approaching them.

“I’m ready.”

Hiro squeezed the hilt of his sword, using both of his hands more firmly. He was still using Demon’s eyes because he had an unlimited energy buff that put him in a very advantageous situation.

Splat!

One horizontal slash right at the neck of the orc in front of him managed to make the monster turn into shards of crystal, then disappeared into nothingness.

The next second, from a distance, Hiro could see pairs of red eyes that gave off light in the darkness, staring at him from all directions.

Crazy orcs came in crowds. Their number was over thirty monsters at once.

Seeing the monsters were coming from all directions made Hiro feel relieved instead of frightened. He was confident that he could dance with his sword and used the combos non-stop without worrying about running out of energy potions in the battle.

“You better bring your boss here!”

A confident smile appeared on his face.

“Hiyatt!”

Hiro was very focused, slashing his sword in all directions in a split second while paying close attention to his position to stay safe from the fatal attacks.

Getting a few scratches on non-vital parts of the body was not a problem. A little pain and soreness was an art of a struggle for Hiro.

After slashing half of them, suddenly a very loud roar could be heard from within the darkness.

An orc with a body twice the normal orcs appeared while carrying an iron ax the size of a tree trunk on Hiro’s left side.
