207 Accident

Bringing Liberty into the dungeon with a demon type monster really made Hiro lucky.

Bang! Bang!

Liberty continued to aim her gun and fired the silver bullets at the enormous body of the monster who was fighting Hiro. They were involved in a fierce battle. The girl kept trying to aim at the same point so that the wound she managed to create gave fatal damage to the monster.

However, the monster had a strange behaviour. Every time Hiro managed to slash its arm off or Liberty blew its hand out of shape, the new hand immediately grew rapidly and functioned well, as if the monster wasn’t hit by any attacks to begin with.

Hiro racked his brains, looking for a way to defeat the monster. However, he still hadn’t found it until now.

[Demon’s Claw]

Scratch!

With all his might, Hiro attacked at the monster’s bloated stomach with his claw until a greenish liquid gushed out of it.

Not only that, Hiro also used his sword to make the open wound in the monster’s stomach tearing even more.

Crash!

At first, he thought that the stomach was the monster’s weakness because it looked like it was digesting food. However, Hiro’s choice was wrong.

The green liquid that kept pouring out from the monster’s stomach made the wooden floor of the building melt, and the room was instantly filled with white smoke. The boss’s digestive juices were so acidic that they could easily crush the rotten and thin wood.

Hiro jumped back, trying his best to dodge the splash of the green liquid.

Besides, after the green liquid stopped coming out, the zombies trapped in the stomach crawled out in a very pathetic state. Their faces and bodies melted away, but the zombies were still able to crawl speedily.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Each of the three zombies had died with a special silver bullet launched by Liberty, added with her skill that multiplied the bullet.

Meanwhile, the monster’s stomach shrunk, but slowly its body regenerated the parts that had been damaged. Even inside its tightly closed stomach filled with zombies again, as if the zombies were indeed produced there.

Dash! Whoosh!

Hiro jumped and spun through the air like a rocket that was shooting fast.

Splat!

The tip of his sword landed right on the monster’s left chest and made its heart pierced by the sword. In a split second, blood gushed out profusely.

“Libe, explode his heart on the count of three!” Hiro exclaimed, having another idea of beating the monster. He hoped this one would work.

Dan Clash!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Liberty’s Hellsing Whisper always fired three bullets at once every time she pulled the trigger. However, if the girl used a certain skill, the number of bullets released could increase or decrease.

[Fire Blast!]

Boom!

The three silver bullets exploded simultaneously as the three of them penetrated through the gaping wound Hiro had made with his sword. The monster had not had time to regenerate its body when Liberty attacked the monster again.

Kabooom!

The explosion was so powerful that it made the monster not only lose its heart, but its body as well. Its body exploded to pieces and was thrown away everywhere; hands, feet, even head. Everything was separate.

“Kyaa!” Liberty jumped at Hiro in surprise as the half of the monster’s destroyed head flew and landed right in front of her feet.

“Is it dead?” Hiro still didn’t lower his guard. He didn’t know whether Liberty’s explosion was too strong or the heart was the monster’s weakness.

Groaaa!

From each piece of the monster’s body, crippled zombies grew. They crawled and tried to attack them from all directions. However, Hiro had prepared himself for an unexpected attack like this. He quickly pulled Liberty behind his back. He stood right behind the girl before he used the skill he bought for 15,000 LSC.

[Tornado Blade]

Wingg!

Splat! Splat! Splat!

Hiro’s body spun like there was wind speeding up his movement, and the axis under his feet allowed him to spin at the place he had marked within a one meter radius.

In the speed of the tornado, Hiro managed to slash all the zombie monsters that crawled to reach him with Liberty standing in the middle of his line of rotation like the center of a magnet.

Liberty was still standing with her eyes widened in shock as Hiro looked at her. Then, he smiled while sheathing the vampire blood-eater to his back.

“What did you just do, Hiro?” the girl was still in shock. She pointed to a circular line that circled her with a radius of one meter. The place where Hiro spun around and crushed the monsters in an instant.

“It’s nothing big.” Hiro replied casually.

“Let’s continue, it looks like we still have a long way to go in this place,” he added, not expecting that he would be stuck in this place much longer than he expected.

Hiro reflexively embraced Liberty and made the girl’s face turn red.

“Umm Hiro, what’s wrong?” Liberty asked in a timid tone.

Hiro looked back at Liberty with his eyebrows arched. He was confused by the girl’s reaction.

“Why? Don’t tell me you want to go to the toilet now?” Hiro guessed.

Liberty glared at him before looking away in annoyance. She had hoped that this trip would be sweet because Hiro embraced her for the first time outside the safe zone. However, it turned out Hiro was completely insensitive.

“Let’s go!” Liberty urged while walking ahead of Hiro.

However, just as she stepped on her feet, the wooden plank on which she was standing suddenly moved upside down and made Liberty fall into a hidden hole.

“Kyaaaaa!” the girl screamed in a loud voice, but her voice grew less and less audible.

Hiro panicked, and he immediately rushed to jump into the same wood. However, his effort was in vain. He repeatedly jumped over in the place with all his might until the dust on the wood flew, but the wood would not open.

“Damn! Why always like this?” Hiro knelt under the wooden floor and banged on the wood repeatedly.

“Libe, are you okay?!” he shouted into the wood, hoping his voice would reach Liberty’s ears. However, when Hiro pressed his ear to the floor… he didn’t hear any response.

The communication with Liberty just cut off.

Hiro immediately tried to contact Liberty via direct dialling, trying everything from voice calls to video calls, and even texting her. However, it was useless,

Ding!

[You can’t interact with anyone in this house]

[Liberty is offline]

“Offline your ass!” Hiro cursed, feeling tricked by the system.

There was no other choice. Nothing he could do but find a way out of his problem.

“Wait for me, Libe. I will save you like I usually do,” Hiro muttered. He was sure that he would find a way. And he was also sure if Liberty was fine.

Hiro sighed, then started walking ahead. And as he moved from the floor that had caught Liberty to the wooden floor right next to it, his footing suddenly spun around and everything turned very dark.

Hiro fell into a hole near Liberty. It was shaped like a children’s slide tunnel that he used to play in the parks in Japan as a child. Hiro was calm. He positioned his body to relax so as not to hit something unwanted.

And after sliding very fast for almost 1 minute, he finally fell on a stretch of black sand. It felt a little hot there.

Hiro rushed to his feet, sending the black sand flying. Then, he found something surprising under the sand.

The bones he believed were human bones, seeing from their size, scattered in that place.

“Another one is coming!” someone shouted from a distance. It was a man’s voice. His voice was so hoarse, as if it had been a very long time since he had last consumed water.

Hiro looked to the source of the voice, and he was surprised to see three men standing in front of Liberty who were already curled up while kissing the ground in a motionless body.

“You came from the same direction as this girl. Do you guys know each other?” one of the men who had very long hair covering his back asked Hiro.

However, before he got the answer he wanted, Hiro immediately dashed at full speed.

Whoosh!

Bang!

He hit the man who was standing closest to Liberty’s body so that the man was thrown back with a force and hit a giant rock that formed like a pillar in that place.

“Libe,” Hiro called, feeling guilty. He turned the girl’s body. Her face and clothes were already covered with black sand.

“Ha ha ha ha — is she your lover? Too bad. She’s already lost.” Two men of very thin stature burst out laughing.

“Dammit, we were tricked by player merchants. They said there was treasure in this place. We didn’t know that we would be stuck here. I don’t know where this is, and we have to kill 10 players to get back to the surface.”

“That girl is the 9th. It looks like it’s our lucky day, guys. Two prey came to be killed at once.”

“Ha ha ha… Did you see that girl earlier? She pitied an old man like me who was helpless and tried to help me like an angel?”

“Ha Ha ha…”

“You should just be an actor. Your acting is really good, my friend.”

Hearing what they were talking about made Hiro close his eyes and then clenched his jaw furiously. His two fists tightened. Those trapped players, their level was far below Liberty, but they won by deceiving her.

Hiro would not forgive their sly actions. Even until Liberty woke up.
