Chapter 134 - [Unleash The Chaos] [Forever]
Chapter 134 – [Unleash The Chaos] [Forever]
[Leanna's POV]
[Unleash the Chaos]
Everybody was curious when Emma moved to Sophia's side when the dance finished.
"As an honor for gracing us with your presence, may we request Mr. Cain Fay to give the last dance," Emma said through the mic.
Silence so brutal took rounds as all eyes flew at our table.
Really, this mother and daughter! I couldn't believe how shameless they were. They're forcing my boyfriend to dance as a pretext of giving honor to his presence? If Cain refused, he would be labeled as discourteous and a bore.
I was too busy thinking of ideas on how to murder in secret that I didn't give it much thought when Estela whispered something to Cain.
Cain squeezed my hand before he stood to his feet and walked to Sophia's direction.
The audience shivered at the sight of the cold man's expressionless face, which oozes with so much killing intent that they secretly felt scared for the safety of the Collin's.
Arnold Collin wiped away the cold sweat on his face while the mother and daughter seemed indifferent to their surroundings.
I wanted to gauge Sophia's sparkling eyeballs out and stitched her ridiculous broad smile that almost ripped her face off.
The audience squealed with envy, jealousy, and exhilaration caused by romantic feelings when the music started, and Cain led Sophia on the dance floor without an ounce of warmth. But the bewitched smiling girl didn't seem to mind the rough handling.
A glass-shattering pierced the moment, and I knew it came from Holley's table.
Heh, so much for BFF.
I was busy imagining happy thoughts to keep my temper at bay so I wouldn't break a bottle and shove it on the debutante's throat. I was not even interested in knowing why Zoe sneaked behind Emma while everyone was lost in their thoughts.
It only felt like a minute when Cain ended the dance and twirled Sophia like a whipping top. Absolutely ruthless, without a care if the girl's bones brake and all her joints dislocate –– and without warning, he 'accidentally' stepped on Sophia's dress.
RIIIIPPP!!
The sound caused the world to stop.
I blinked many times and widened my eyes to see if what I was seeing was real while everyone mirrored my actions.
Sophia's dress was utterly torn, baring a naked girl with her flimsy thong. The voluptuous body was overshadowed when the vines of the circlet got stuck in Sophia's dress, and the wig got dragged when the dress was ripped, exposing a semi-bald naked lady.
. . .
. . .
No one uttered a sound as they were stunned at the awkward hideous scene laid before their eyes.
But there was always that someone who couldn't read the atmosphere.
"Holy mother of baldy freakin' shit!"
It was like a wake-up call, and flashes of cameras brightened the whole scene, and everyone turned deaf at Sophia's ear-shattering scream.
Gyaaarrgh!
"SOPHIA!"
Emma bolted to her daughter's aid –– but not until Zoe stepped on her dress, causing the same fate as her daughter to befall on her.
I think having vines on their circlet was a wrong move since those things get easily stuck in their exaggerating flowery dresses.
"Holy hideous freakin' shit!"
"OH.MY.GOD!"
The supposed to be beautiful, enchanting scene turned into horror porn. Emma was like a bald witch, seducing lost souls into the woods. Everyone didn't know where to look. Some covered their eyes. Some stood there, paralyzed and shock while the wicked ones flashed their phones like crazy.
The lively music turned into screams and whispers while bright flashes of cameras dance like disco balls under the glowing moon.
Cain strode towards me in his own leisure time, not even sparing an eye at the naked mother and daughter.
"Let's go."
Cain extended his hand when he stopped in front of me, which I absentmindedly grabbed.
"E-eh? I-is it alright if we just leave like this?"
I stood, and Cain's arm automatically surrounded my waist, motioning for us to leave.
"I don't want your beautiful eyes to corrupt any longer."
". . ."
I didn't argue as we made our escape while the audience was occupied with all the chaos.
I glanced to where Zoe was, but the girl magically disappeared while Estela and Zhander also made their escape.
I still heard the cries and screams from miles away while the ones who caused all of it fled the scene unscathed –– feigning innocence to what they did.

[Zoe's POV]
[Forever]
*sigh . . . "What do you want?"
I held my chin on top of my palm while my other hand played with the shot glass, not gazing over at the innocent-looking man beside me.
After I stepped on Emma's dress and caused a riot at Sophia's debut, I made my escape at one of Hawaii's famous indoor pool bar.
Eliot just laughed at my unfriendly remark. "Your back looks lonely, so I decided to accompany you. You look beautiful, by the way."
I have no energy to argue with him, so I let him do whatever he wanted while I held my chin, secretly peeking at Z O'nier's flowery dress that I was wearing.
I gulped down my tequila and raised my glass. "Barman, another one."
"Just serve her milk this time."
Elliot intruded and gave a hundred bucks to the barman. The barman took the hundred dollars and served me a glass of milk.
Annoyed, I snapped at him. "Look, you can sit beside me for all I care, but don't interfere with what––!"
"Zoe, you already had too many," he cut in, glancing at the four empty glasses.
"Getting yourself drunk won't solve whatever problems you're having," he added. He was being careful not to make me upset more than I already was.
"What do you know?"
I snorted and drunk the milk anyway since I was beginning to feel the effects of the tequilas.
"Care to talk about it, then?"
"Why would I tell you, a stranger, my problems?"
Elliot grabbed my hand, gently squeezing it while giving me a thoughtful smile. "Maybe that's all you need . . . a complete stranger, listening to your woes."
I didn't shove his hand this time.
His warm hand somewhat comforted me.
I stared at his pretty blue eyes before I shook my head, laughing softly.
"Don't try to act all nice to get me interested in you."
"I'm not acting. I'm always nice."
I rolled my eyes, which he just chuckled much to my annoyance.
"Is it because of a man?"
He smirked when I faze.
". . ."
"Is it because you have your heart broken that's why you can't trust any man right now?" he continued to guess. I knew he meant Nicholas, but I didn't bother to correct him. I ignored him and steady my gaze at my now empty glass of milk.
"You know . . . one way to forget an old love is to find a new one . . ."
I frowned and finally locked my eyes with his. My words got stuck in my throat at his serious face and unfaltering gaze.
. . .
. . .
Lost in each other's thoughts, his face leaned towards mine.
I didn't pull away.
I didn't know why.
What he said was stuck in my brain. My heart was so damaged that it would take any help to get it fixed and working again.
Even I have to use this man.
I gasped and raised my hand to his chest, stopping him from leaning anymore closer to me. His face was just inches from mine that I could feel his hot breath.
"You're not him . . ." I intended it as a joke, but it came out choked.
Even though I was desperate to forget about that boy, I was not that sort of person who used others to cover the holes in my heart.
Elliot remained unfazed as he caressed my cheek. His expression was soft as he stared at me with helpless eyes.
"You can use me to forget him."
Looks like he could read minds.
He leaned closer despite my weak attempt to push him as he captured my lips with his.
The kiss was soft and gentle. He planted light kisses on my lips. I was still dazed by what he said that I didn't respond.
I was startled back when his kiss became more demanding. His tongue licked my lips, asking for entry. He then slid into my mouth when I gasped for air.
And flashes of that night played in my mind.
— Hey Lady, wait! —
— Lady . . . I think you shouldn't tease kids like that. Even though I'm young, I'm still a man, after all. —
— If you're alright with me, then who am I to refuse such a pretty lady like you? —
. . .
. . .
— You should have told me earlier . . . I could have been more gentle . . . —
I gasped and shoved Elliot away.
His face contorted in pain for a second, and I felt guilt and shame.
"I'm sorry."
Was all I said before I stood from my seat and walked away without giving him a second glance.

I found myself lost in a trance under the crescent moon so high in the dark and lonely sky.
It must be the mood or the vast obsidian ocean that I was crying –– again.
I hated it when I was this weak and pathetic.
But this time, I let myself be drowned in sorrow as the realization hit me hard that whatever I did . . .
That boy would forever engrave in my heart.
