[Night to Remember]

I opened my eyes to the sound of my stomach grumbling. I thought I was just dreaming of food but it turned out that I was starving. It was a good thing that I was not dreaming of taking a leak in the toilet.

I looked at the full-length window draped with fine curtains. The warm light sipped through the window basking the room with its glow.

It was already afternoon judging from the orange sky.

I sat on the bed and was jolted awake from the pain between my thighs. I peeked at it –– it was swollen and red, and it hurts as hell!

I froze when I felt sore all over.

My brain responded, and gushed of memories poured into my head, remembering the intense, passionate night that happened. My body flared as I remembered how many times he and I made love last night.

That's right! Where is he?!

I shook my head, searching for him, but the room remained quiet. Not a soul was seen.

I frowned when my eyes caught a note on the bedside table.

I reached and read it.

[I won't forget what happened last night. Thank you for being my first woman.

Droplets of water fell on my cheeks as I stared at his note.

It was also his first time. I didn't even get to know his name.

Many emotions wanted to burst out, but for now, all I yearned was him. Like I found a part of me, and it was gone.

I was not even regretting what happened last night. 

For one, it would be a night I would always remember.

After I took a shower and filled my tummy, a sense of dread and intent to kill rose inside me. Now that my brain was working again, all the pent-up emotions came rushing in, suffocating me.

My fists clenched and I bit my lip.

That two-faced bitch!

If it was not because I bumped into that beautiful boy, who knew what could have happened.

She was clearly trying to have me raped!

I shuddered at the thought, trying to hold my anger.

I was a fool to trust her!

I forced myself to remain calm and shifted my gaze over the skyline in a daze.

Without thinking, I touched my lips.

He was a stranger, but it was like my body knew him and was waiting for him for so long.

Honestly, I should be depressed that my virginity was taken from me by a stranger, but all I felt were bittersweet emotions and memories. It was like we had known each other so many years ago. 

Not even Nick could arouse such emotions from me.

I was ready to give myself to Nick anytime because I thought I love him. But my mind, heart, body, and soul refused, and yet all of me accepted that boy.

A boy that I just met.

A stranger.

A beautiful innocent stranger.

I didn't believe in love at first sight or fate or other half . . . until him that is . . .

"What did you say?"

Emma stared daggers at Nicholas, which the man faced head-on.

Nicholas was also in a bad mood.

"I said, Zoe wasn't there when I entered. I waited for the whole night!"

Nicholas was angry, frustrated, annoyed, and disappointed when the plan didn't go how they imagined it to be.

"Can you get Zoe to come again?" he asked.

He refused to give up. Zoe was his ticket to Leanna. He didn't know why he wanted Leanna so badly. Like he was obsessed with making her submit to him.

Emma sighed before swallowing her wine in one gulp. "That will be hard. Now that she knows I drugged her, she will be on guard from now on . . ." She paused and huffed a sigh. "I don't understand. She was clearly affected by the drug. Where could she have gone?"

Emma rubbed her chin while she tapped her long stylish nails on the table.

"Who cares where she had gone?! The point is, our plan failed! What now?" Nicholas said.

"You're clearly still a boy, Nicholas," Emma smirked, which warrant a snort from him.

"Enlighten me."

Emma poured herself some more wine while a malicious smile crept on her face.

"Sophia's debut. She'll be there. We have two days to corner her."

Nicholas approached the scary woman and sat in front of her.

"I'm listening."

I was still in a daze when the bell rang, signaling for the morning class to end.

I was going to meet Leanna in the cafeteria. But instead of heading in that direction, I made my way towards the toilet.

I opened a cubicle and continued my daydream. My thoughts flew to the cute boy who I shared a wonderful night with.

I was then rudely interrupted when two girls entered and spouted nonsense about my friend.

  "I always knew from the moment I saw that girl, what's her name again?"

"Leanna Lee."

"Right. She's a whore who sleeps with anyone for money."

"Rowan also confirmed it. You know that guy only associated with girls he slept with. He said Leanna was pretty wild in bed!"

I frowned, and they snickered.

Gyagh!

They screamed when I slammed open the cubicle door and sprayed bidet water on them.

"W-what are you doing?!" One of the girls screamed as they stumbled, avoiding the flying waters.

"Cleaning the shit off from the toilet." I smiled. It was like a shooting game as I aimed at their faces.

They wanted to retort, but since they would rather salvage what remained of their clothes, they scurried out from the toilet while shouting.

"You just wait, Zoe Collin! We'll tell the dean, and you'll get detention!"

I smirked.. As if that will kill me.
