Trevor unwraps his chained sickles from his arms while walking past Ivonna, then suddenly an afterimage appears next to him. I'm finally able to see him in action with my own two eyes, but something is different from what I watched on Utube, his afterimage is moving on his own. It's more like a doppelganger than an afterimage, his clone is approaching the man, and when the man is about to pounce his clone, the clone dodges and swings his chained sickles then cut off the man's head so easily. The headless man falls to the ground, instead of blood coming out from his body, it's a dark liquid, everyone is so confused right now because is that really an NPC, or is it a monster.
We are looking at Trevor for quite a while because we can't believe what just happened and how did he manage to kill that thing in just one hit. We are surprised to see Trevor in here, I heard that he has never been seen ever again since he killed the former Emperor of the Eluna Empire. Why did he show up here right now after all this time? Is he here because of that person? So many questions are in my head but none of them have a solid answer to his appearance, but one thing for sure is that he's finally back.
Trevor's clone disappears and then the real one looks at Ivonna while crossing his arms.
"They finally make a move as we expected, thankfully we have prepared everything. How about the others? Did they manage to take care of the subject?"
Ivonna nods while staring at the dead body.
"Yeah, they defeated the subject already before we came here."
Trevor is humming with understanding, and when I'm about to approach them and greet them, Ivonna looks at Cecilia.
"Thank you for letting us know, Cecil."
Cecilia nods and smiles.
"You don't have to thank me, Miss Ivonna! We are just doing what you told us to do. Oh, is this person…"
Before Cecilia can finish her sentence, Ivonna nods in agreement.
"Yes, that's right. Before you say anything, I want you to remember that it's something that you shouldn't say in public."
Cecilia is covering her mouth and nodding with understanding.
"I almost forgot! By the way, will there be more of them from now on?"
Ivonna looks at Trevor and Trevor nods.
"Unfortunately, yeah. There will be more of them to come, so I want everyone to be cautious and keep an eye on everything. Please inform one of us if you see something like this is happening around the Alliance Kingdoms, okay?"
Cecilia is nodding and humming with understanding.
"Okay, Mister Trevor, you can leave it to us!"
Trevor smirks and nods then they both turn around and leave the scene while we are just staring at them both speechlessly.
I think this is my chance to have a word with them, so I'm following them from the distance, and when I keep an eye on them, they both stop. I try to hide but I hear footsteps are coming toward me and I think they both know that I have been following them, and as I expected, Trevor is staring at me while raising his eyebrows.
"What can I help you?"
I look at them both and immediately shake my hands and head.
"No, it's nothing! I'm a huge fan of you, Mister Trevor! I just want to see you, that's all!"
Trevor is raising his eyebrows.
"Is that so? Well, thanks for that but I'm not a role model. You should have known what I did in the past, so I think that's not good if you're a fan of my work."
I shake my head.
"No, I don't think that's a problem at all! I'm a huge fan because you do what you want to do and you achieved those things because of the way you live your life in the game! I really want to become like you someday, I want to find my own path while the others are doing what everyone else is doing. I have been watching you on Utube ever since you made your appearance in the game, and since I finally have the money to buy the pod I think it's time for me to fulfill my dream."
Ivonna and Trevor are looking at each other and they both scoff, Trevor then looks at me and nods with understanding.
"Well, if that's what you want to do then good luck with that. If you keep doing what you want to do, I believe you will do great, but having friends that support and understand you will make everything a lot easier."
I nod with understanding.
"Yes! I already have those people with me, and they're my best friends! Thank you for the advice, Mister Trevor!"
Trevor scoffs and shakes his head.
"No need to mention that and I guess we will be seeing each other again soon enough. See you later…"
Trevor is squinting his eyes because he doesn't know my name or my existence before, and so I immediately introduce myself to both of them.
"My name is Allen!"
Trevor smirks and nods.
"Alright, see you later, Allen."
I nod and then Trevor grabs a staff from his inventory and opens a portal for both of them, they both leave and disappear.
I'm smiling happily because I'm finally able to meet the two of them, while I'm too busy imagining what just happened, Aven and the others are approaching me from the distance. They're staring at me weirdly because of the face I'm making right now, then Ian looks around while holding his shield.
"What are you doing here on your own, Allen?"
I look at them while keep smiling.
"I just had a talk with Trevor, dude!"
Aven and the others are looking at me while raising their eyebrows, Chris looks around while flipping his hand.
"Where are they now?"
I'm pointing at the place where Trevor opened a portal earlier with my thumb.
"They both just left using a portal."
Aven is humming with understanding but then he looks at me and tilts his head.
"Oh, by the way, we have to prepare for tonight so come with us."
I tilt my head with confusion.
"Prepare? Prepare for what?"
Ilvia is crossing her arms while sighing.
"Don't you read the notice in the clan board? We are going to take down the Malevolent Clan who just take over the Highland of the Three Ruination in the BZM event 4 days ago. They're the strongest clan from the Aarus Empire at the moment, and we are about to take them down so they won't get the reward since so many clans have tried to take them down but failed since Malevolent Clan's allies are top 5 clans from the Aarus Empire. So we have 3 days to try to take over the Highland."
I'm humming with understanding.
"Right, the BZM event, I almost forgot about that. There hasn't been any clan that manage to hold the Highland for seven days straight ever since the event came out 3 months ago, huh?"
Chris nods.
"Yeah, that's why we will keep it that way and take down the Malevolent Clan with the others."
Aven is looking at his screen and then looks at us.
"Oh, hold on, Kyle just messaged me, he wants us to meet him in the Ophiuchus Empire First District right now. So, let's go."
We all nod and Chris opens a portal for us to the Ophiuchus Empire.
We all are entering the city and then immediately go to the First District to meet Kyle. We see players already crowding the city and people are using this city to hang out so this is a huge success for the Ophiuchus for creating the city in this new continent. Aven tells us that Kyle is waiting for us in the Barrel's Pub, and so we go over there and enter the pub. Turns out it's not just him, but also Cecilia and the others are with him waiting for us at the table, we sit down and look at Kyle.
Kyle sighs and scratches his head.
"Where should I start? Right, there's something that I want you guys to know and I want you to keep it a secret from the other members, okay?"
We are looking at each other and then nod with understanding.
Kyle starts explaining what happened when Trevor killed the former Emperor of Eluna Empire, Lerst Eogura, and then he starts explaining about the subject and the army that was made from an experiment. He's telling everything to us and we can't comprehend the truth about it, we never thought it was deeper than we imagined, turns out Trevor was the one who prevented the war and destroyed Lerst Eogura's plan on destroying the Aarus Empire and the Alliance Kingdoms. Finally, he tells us about the one behind all of those incidents, it was Aspen, and our minds are blown by the truth and we just sit here listening to everything with shock.
Kyle clears his throat then chugs his drink.
"So, I need you to level up as many as you can because we are going to help the Ophiuchus on defeating Aspen and the army that will come to strike the three sovereignties. We are not the only one who knows about this, there are a few big clans from other factions that know the truth. I want you guys to be prepared, understand?"
We are looking at each other and nod. I look at Kyle while gulping.
"Yeah, I will help them with everything I got."
Aven scoffs while staring at me.
"You mean, we?"
I look at Aven and the others then I nod while smiling.
"Yeah, you're right.. We will help them."
