We all walk down the hill so quietly and I have no idea why we have to walk so quietly but then Kyle explains it to me. It's because the map is surrounded by cliffs and he says that even a pebble is thrown to rock can be heard from far away. This is making me so nervous and making sure that I don't step on anything that can produce a loud noise, and everyone is doing the same as well even some of them are removing their sabaton and armor just to be sure they don't mess it up. The game itself is preventing players from advancing easily by disabling teleportation so everyone has to walk to the Highland.
I look at the other side of the map, Oscario and his clan members are also ready in their position. Not just him but our other allies are also ready in position, then Kyle raises his arm and clenches his fist. We stop moving and stay still like a rock, everyone is waiting for him to give us another signal. Kyle looks at the other allies from the distance and then he immediately swirls his index finger in the air and we all immediately run as fast as possible while screaming and shouting. The Malevolent Clan notices us and immediately rings the bell to warn the others to be on guard. The reason why we do that is to lower their morale and to let them know how many players are with us.
Millions of players are running toward the Highland, Aven and the others are next to me and we keep running and facing forward. Arrows and spells are being released from the Highland, fireballs, boulders, arrows, and ice shards are covering the sky. Chris looks up and cast a barrier and protect us from those projectiles, I look at my surrounding and everyone is doing the same but of course, there are players that are unfortunate that gets hit by those projectiles and die in just a few hits. I look at the hill that leads to the Highland, I see Oscario and Dennise are the first ones to reach it. I don't know how they can reach the hill that fast but those two dodge all the projectiles' attacks with their weapons.
One of the Malevolent Clan's allies runs down the hill, hundreds of thousand players are running toward Oscario and Dennise. Those two keep running and won't stop, Kyle screams and points his two-handed sword at those players. All the archers and spellcasters from our clan point their weapons toward them and start showering them with arrows and spells, and not just them but all of our allies are doing the same thing. Oscario and Dennise are charging in and fighting those players on their own, I don't know if I should be amazed or should be worried. I thought that those two will be dead in less than a minute, but they both are defeating the players without a problem. Those two are unbelievably good and they both are untouchable even though they both are surrounded by players.
We are finally on the hill and about to catch up with Oscario and Dennise, they both are struggling to stay to survive. When they both see us, they make a path to run away from the players with the help of the archers and spellcasters. Kyle, Valentino, and Poshemelon are at the front and secure them both, Oscario and Dennise manage to escape and hide behind us to recover. Aven and the others look at me and smile, I nod and so we are all running toward our enemy with our weapon in our hands.
Aven is the first one to jump into the battlefield and followed by Ian, Ilvia, and me. The four of us are swinging our weapons at them, Ian is at the front since he's the tanker while Ilvia is behind him to protect his back while Aven and I are behind Ilvia. Ian is hitting his shield with his sword and his armor and status resistance are getting buffed by 30% by using [Shield Protection], Ilvia is using [Body Swift] buffing herself as well to increase her movement and attack speed by 50%, Aven increases his health, stamina, and damage output by using [Might] while I'm only using basic self-buff like [Bravery] which is only increasing my damage output by 20%. Chris on the back and cast buff to all of us, he uses [Elemental Protection] which is reduce the damage taken from all elements by 20%.
We are pushing back the enemy because they can't handle us, I'm so lucky that I'm still alive here and it's all thanks to Ian since he uses his ultimate skill which is linking our bodies to him and he will take 70% of the damage from us while Chris is keeping Ian alive by healing him and tossing him health potion. Kyle and all the other clan leaders are pressing the front line with their commanders, they're like a beast and it seems that nobody can stop them from advancing. My level is too low for this event but they appreciate my help even though I barely do any damage but I'm good enough to lure the enemy to target me so the rest can finish them off so I'm proud of myself.
We haven't even reached the Highland yet, but we already lost so many players because the hill is getting narrow and narrower that prevents us from advancing. Not just because of that, but the players in the castle are throwing boulders and oil and lighting them on with fire arrows that are enough to slow us down. Only Kyle and the high level players almost reach the top, but Aven isn't worried about that because we are just the distraction. I don't know the entire plan but if he says so then there's nothing to be worried about.
We are slowly advancing to the top of the hill while killing the enemies that are being abandoned by their allies. Once a player is dead they can't reenter the BZM for 10 minutes so they have to wait, and that's not included that they have to walk back to the Highland if they're not the owner of the castle, so these allies of Malevolent Clan mostly will stop helping once they're dead since it's impossible for them to go back up there. I believe that we have killed more than a hundred thousand players, and that's a lot.
Aven is slashing his sword at the enemy and grunting with annoyance.
"These damn players are here because of her…"
I look at Aven with confusion.
"What do you mean?"
Aven looks up at the castle on the Highland and points his finger at it.
"The clan leader of the Malevolent Clan, Jessica Malice. You know her right? She's an actress and model in real life, she's quite famous and so these players are here because they're huge fans of her. That's why there are so many clans here and willing to be her allies, I don't hate her but I'm just complaining that's all."
Jessica Malice, that name somehow sounds familiar and then I realize that my sister is a huge fan of her as well. I heard she's playing the game because she was curious about it, now that I think about it, my sister did curious about the pod because she knows that Jessica Malice is playing the game. Maybe I will ask her about it and tell her that I met Jessica Malice just mess around with her, and I wonder what kind of reaction she's going to show me.
We are finally reaching the top of the hill, and the castle is not that far from us. The castle is huge and I don't think it will be that easy to infiltrate the castle, Kyle and the other clan leaders are staring at the castle gate that's closed and the bridge has been lifted, we can't enter the castle unless we walk over the burrowed land and destroy the wall. We don't have any artillery with us and the only way to do that is by destroying it with hammers or using the ladder to reach the top of the wall.
I look at Kyle and the others and they seem so calm and not worried about anything at all, I look at Aven and put my hand on his shoulder.
"What are we going to do now?"
Aven looks at me and smiles.
"Right now, we are just going to wait."
I furrow my forehead while staring at him with confusion.
"Wait? We are in an open field right now, isn't it dangerous?"
Aven scoffs.
"You will see, Allen. Kyle and the others have planned this long before we put our feet in this place."
Suddenly the bell rings again and I hear commotion from the inside of the castle, Kyle looks at us and raises his weapon.
"Alright, guys! That's our cue, charge!"
