Chapter 15: Yang Xi Ruo

How high one’s stats did not guarantee one’s success or failure.  Momentum, awareness, and strategy were all essential conditions for defeating one’s enemies.  Of course this only applied in situations where one’s stats did not differ by too much, otherwise, in the face of absolute power, all countermeasures would be considered jokes.

The delicate girl’s eyes tightly followed Feng Xiao’s moving figure.  From the moment he appeared to save her, she had been staring at him in a daze like this the whole time.

Fifth Demon Wolf was completely out of breath.  The enemy continued to accurately predict his attacks and continued to evade his attacks again and again.  He had attacked seven times and only managed to land one with great difficulty.  Moreover, it was in a situation where the enemy was trying to evade an Elemental Ball.  And each one of the enemy’s attack was always accurate and landed without fail, it was impossible for him to dodge.

The moment they were drinking their potions, Feng Xiao ran past Fifth Demon Wolf and attacked Sixth Demon Wolf with a Shattering Slash.  Mages had strong attack and range, plus with the forced accuracy, he was much more of a threat compared to Fifth Demon Wolf.  The one good thing was that mages had a low HP.

Sixth Demon Wolf was shocked and quickly withdraw while he shot out an Elemental Ball at the same time.  Feng Xiao quickly dodged to the side and released another Shattering Slash.  At this moment, Fifth Demon Wolf finally reacted and quickly rushed over.  Feng Xiao gave a dark smile and ignored Fifth Demon Wolf, he continued to chase and attack the flustered Sixth Demon Wolf who was running away.

Sixth Demon Wolf was filled with panic and he could only run for his life as he shot out Elemental Balls, but all of his Elemental Balls were easily dodged by the enemy.  The enemy was like a shadow chasing him as his golden sword continued to fall onto his body.  His recovery potion cooldown had not ended yet, so he could only helplessly watch his HP drain away.

Fifth Demon Wolf continued to curse in his mind and he really wanted to cut Sixth Demon Wolf down with his blade.  This idiot clearly did not know that it was impossible to escape with how he was desperately running away.  The three of them had the same move speed and he could only chase after them.  There was no chance of them working together to attack the enemy.

“Peng!”  After six seconds, Sixth Demon Wolf had an unwilling look as he fell onto the ground, dropping his Green Wooden Stick and some potions.

Feng Xiao finally stopped moving and Fifth Demon Wolf also stopped.  His eyes filled with surprise and uncertainty as he looked at this man while being filled with jealousy.

With such a weak attack and a frail defense, this man who looked like he couldn’t even beat a level four was actually playing cat and mouse with two level eights like them.

“You…..You…..You cheat!”  After Fifth Demon Wolf’s words left his mouth, he realized some problems in his mind.  The game did not allow for any kind of cheats, and even if it did, how was it possible for the enemy to use the cheat to avoid all his attacks?

Naturally the enemy looked at him with a cold gaze and disdainfully said, “Idiot!”

Fifth Demon Wolf’s heart filled with fear, his sixth brother had already fallen by this man’s hands.  That strange way of fighting where he dodges and attacks made him feel like a child wielding a magic weapon fighting against a martial arts master holding a branch.

“Alright, Wind Spirit, we the Demon Wolf Clan will remember you.”  He already knew Feng Xiao’s name from the PK prompt and he didn’t forget to leave behind a threat.  Then Fifth Demon Wolf turned to leave.

“Peng”, “peng”.

Fifth Demon Wolf had a look of disbelief as he turned into white light and flew off towards the Beginner Village.

Feng Xiao was a little surprised.  He was a little angry at that idiot wolf threatening him, so he threw out the Xuanyuan Sword as a warning.  He never thought that he would unexpectedly trigger the 1% chance of causing an instant death.

Even god wants you to die, so you might as well die.  Feng Xiao indifferently curled his lips.

“When I told you leave or go offline, why didn’t you listen?”  Moving back in front of the girl, Feng Xiao said in a helpless voice.  The girl kept staring at him, putting him at a loss as to what he should do.  He had experienced this quite a bit, but her eyes were too pure that he could not help staying still.

“You, could you tell me your name?”  Without answering Feng Xiao, the girl revealed a gentle smile.  A resplendent light flashed through her eyes as she asked.

“I……”

“Leave my little sister alone!”  Right as Feng Xiao was about to answer, an angry and overbearing voice came from behind him.

A man with a giant sword was coldly standing there, his wolf like eyes were fiercely staring at Feng Xiao, they were the complete opposite of the girl’s eyes.  This was a pair of eyes that made him seem completely aloof.

“Brother!  You’re finally here.”  The girl blinked at Feng Xiao and then ran over to the man.  The man lovingly patted the girl’s shoulder.  When he looked at this girl, his cold gaze completely melted.

Yang Ao Tian: Level 8.

He used the eye of the soul to look at the opposite side’s stats.  That girl was called Yang Xi Ruo.  The Ruo was from the word treasure and the Xi was from the word delicate.  She was only level 0

It should be their real life names.

“Don’t tell me you’re bullying my little sister.  If you are, I will forever chase you down to the ends of the world.  Remember, forever!”  Yang Ao Tian looked at Feng Xiao with a cold and sinister look.  His voice was very dark, but it had a firmness that made people believe his words.

“Brother.  He definitely isn’t bullying me.  Moreover, he was the one who saved me from the people that were bullying me……”  The girl quickly explained while revealing an apologetic expression towards Feng Xiao.

“There was someone bullying you?  Who was it?  What are their names?”  Yang Ao Tian felt a pain in his heart.  He would not allow anyone to bully his angelically pure and fragile as glass little sister.  She already had too many miseries.

“Brother, I don’t know their names and I’m already fine.  I don’t like it seeing big brother killing and fighting, so let’s just forget about it, ok?”  The girl already knew how much her brother spoiled her, so if she told him the opposing side’s name, it would definitely lead to a consequence she did not want to see.

Feng Xiao did not say anything and just turned to leave.  Everyone had their own fate and he was just an outsider, so he had no right to interfere and he had no intentions to interfere.  It was fine to call him emotionless or cold blooded, this was just his principle.

“You still haven’t told me your name yet!”  The girl’s anxious voice came from behind him…..

“I am called Feng.”  Feng Xiao did not turn his head as he responded.

“……Big Brother Feng, thank you.  I am called Xi Ruo, setting sun’s Xi and silent’s Ruo.”

After half an hour, Feng Xiao had mined enough ores and when he passed by the rabbits’ territory, he did not see that girl again.

It was also a good thing that he did not meet those two wicked wolves again.  Otherwise, there would be quite a bit of trouble.

“It seems like it would be better to use Dominating the World less from now on.”  After Feng Xiao’s stats dropped by 70%, he couldn’t even compare with the stats he had at level 0.  Otherwise, he could have easily taken care of those two with his normal stats.
