Things progressed that smoothly. Long Wei’s steps were lighter after he left and the serious look on his face had a trace of relaxation to it.

“Grandma, grandpa, Bao Bao is here to see you!”

Moving unimpeded through the layers of protection, Bao Bao ran forward calling out as she pulled on her mother’s hand. Before she arrived, the sound of the elf’s voice rang out. The old woman put down the things in her hands and the face filled with wrinkles of age revealed a happy and loving look. The old man by the pond didn’t react, as if he didn’t hear anything.

“Grandma!” Bao Bao saw her grandmother that came to greet her and ran into her arms with a smile on her face.

The old woman revealed a loving look, “My little Bao Bao, grandma has missed you to death. You haven’t come to see grandma in so long.”

Bao Bao’s mother elegantly walked over and said with a faint smile, “Mother in law, Bao Bao has always missed you at home.”

“Un!” Bao Bao gave a strong nod, “I always missed grandma……and grandpa.” Bao Bao looked at the old man by the pond and ran over. Her little lips pouted with a bit of dissatisfaction, “Grandpa always ignores Bao Bao when you’re fishing.”

The woman and the old woman looked at each other before shaking their heads with helpless smiles, but they didn’t do anything.

“Grandpa, why do you like making Bao Bao fish? It’s so boring……Moreover, there are never any fish.” Bao Bao finally couldn’t take how boring it was anymore and pouted her lips in an aggrieved manner.

“Fishing is good training for the heart……”

“Wu, hee, hee, grandma is still the best.” Bao Bao stood up again and stuck her little pink tongue out at the old man before following her grandmother.

Looking at Bao Bao’s back, the old man lowered his head and revealed a helpless smile. Then he gave a sigh and closed his eyes again.

After Long Wei left, Feng Xiao sat there in silence without saying a word, as he thought about his goal. His eyes didn’t have any focus which showed how confused he was deep down.

“Un! When you feel lonely, remember to call me back.” After he said this, Feng Xiao gave a sigh in his heart. This soft hearted girl that only thought about him, even if she missed him, she wouldn’t let herself disturb him. After he saved Rou Rou, he had to spend more time with her.

“I will. Alright, go quickly.”

With the clear weather and the grass all around, Feng Xiao returned to the west of the continent. He called out Xiao Bai and continued heading west. His following journey had also changed a bit because of Long Wei’s arrival.

Coming to the back yard covered in green grass and flowers, Xi Ruo squatted down and stroked a flower as she muttered, “I need you all to stay with me.”
